《The Bartender at the End of the Universe》Ch 134: Wham, Bam, Thank You Ma'am

"What has gotten into her?" Trizel snarled as blood dripped down his bandaged arm.
Their group was on the move again, with Bakade being conspicuously absent. Sentenza had a fresh claw mark along his neck. Trizel's already injured arm now had scratches all along it that were slowly oozing blood. Lulu's left arm was hanging limp as she struggled to put weight on her right foot.
"Bawk. Bakaw, ba ba baw." Nugget explained succinctly.
"Well, whatever happened, she's definitely our enemy now," Og'drimun shrugged.
"It's not so simple," Sentenza said. "We can't just write her off."
"Well, then why is she attacking us?" Lulu piped up.
Sentenza absentmindedly scratched his neck, and then winced as his fingers brushed over his fresh wound. He looked down and inspected his hand with a frown. "She's backsliding."
Trizel nodded his head. "It did seem familiar, but there are not trees to hide behind here."
"What are you two talking about?" Og'drimun whined.
"When Bakade arrived with the forest, she was hunting us." Trizel explained as he tried to bind his arm with the torn fabric from his sleeves. "Stalked us for ages before she finally tried to strike us."
"Like you'd expect, Ted was the one who calmed her down." Sentenza explained as his fingers gingerly rubbed against his wound. "Gave her some food as she ripped open his...back I think it was?"
"Yes, I am fairly certain she clawed along his back." Trizel agreed. "But that was the only time she had acted like that."
"Maybe there was something in that creature?" Og'drimun suggested.
Nugget rolled her eyes as they continued to talk. She looked unharmed other than her earlier injuries from the various orbs she assaulted.

"Well, if someone hadn't blown bits of it onto all of us, she probably wouldn't have tried to eat any of it, let alone the entire thing." Sentenza added with a harsh glance towards Lulu.
Lulu held her one good hand up. "Hey now, no point blaming me. Not like I have any control over what that idiot version of me does."
"Well, I think..." Sentenza started to say.
"Whatever the reason," Trizel said loudly as he cut the two of them off. "She seems intent on hunting us all down again, and we will need to deal with that."
"Yeah," Og'drimun said haughtily as he flew up and dangled his ears in Trizel's face. "We've got to work together like a team should."
"Perhaps next time you will think of that while she is attacking one of us," Trizel said as his eye twitched. "Instead of just after the fact when there is nothing at risk."
"Are you saying my word is no good?" Og'drimun pouted as he held a hand over his chest. "I'm hurt, really, truly I am."
"Not yet you are not," Trizel muttered under his breath.
"What was that?" Og'drimun snarled.
"I said, of course your word is no good." Trizel said boldly. "Your actions do not match your words, and I trust actions far more than what someone says as a way to judge them."
"Well, that was a different situation!" Og'drimun argued. "I didn't know she'd be all vicious and just leap out at people. I was barely able to keep myself safe."
"You show your priorities even now. You do not risk danger for yourself, even when your allies are threatened." Trizel scoffed.
"Uh, duh." Og'drimun said in a mocking tone. "If I get hurt, then I can't help anyone. Are you always this stupid?"

WHAM!
In a flash, Trizel slammed his fist into Og'drimun, and sent him crashing into the ceiling. The small creature fell limp and tumbled to the ground. Trizel let out a satisfied sigh and picked up the demon.
"Don't tell me you're gonna make this a habit?" Sentenza commented.
Trizel shook his head. "Only when necessary."
"Which is going to be a lot of the time, isn't it?" Lulu asked.
Trizel only smiled in response as they continued down the corridor.

Quietly handing over his duties, after a few months he was finally free. The same day Azaan freed himself from his family business an entity that had been observing the planet for decades started unfolding its plan. Azaan finds himself thrown from one prison to another, even if he prefers this one. The world quietly starts changing as people slowly start gaining supernatural powers. Some use them for good, some for evil and some for pure profit. ------ This story will mostly be a slow burn, though I am considering including bits of time skips to reduce the repetitive stuff while also keeping up the pace. Synopsis will undergo if it can be bettered. ------ Tags and content warnings are mainly to give me creative freedom later on. This is my first novel ever, and English isn’t my native language, so please spare me, my lord/ladies. Any feedback is more than welcome with a bucketful of thanks.

Ode to Freud
For those who do not understand the reference, "wish fulfillment" is before anything a term created by Sigmund Freud in the 1900's. In psychology it is a state of satisfying unconscious needs and desires by the use of fantasy and delusion. In literature it is the very base of fictional work, but also the name of a style of writing where the author sacrifices the key elements of good storytelling in order to fulfill his own psychopathic, neurotic or perverse needs and desires, usually through the use of the characters in weird and forced situations. What I meant by the title of this story is that it is a trashy, badly written, shitty story about me getting some wish fulfillment by the use of some characters and a fictional world of my creation. Not the good kind of fulfillment, since my wishes are of the bad kind and I intend to fulfill those, not yours. Also, being a total amateur and not writing a proper plot before starting are two big indicators that this story is going to go bad. I guess Royal Road call this kind of stories the "Mary Sue" kind. So, unless you are a very ugly piece of trash (at least as much as I am) don’t bother reading it. Now, if you ARE messed up on the level of a clinically depressive, lightly suicidal, lolicon/shotacon aligned morbidly obese hikikomori vermin who sold his virginity to a prostitute and is currently living at the costs of his widowed mother after expending all the money he got from his father’s inheritance, all the while masturbating furiously to beast/furry dickgirl hentai, then be welcomed. Please feel free to get a serving at my antidepressants and also at the canned tuna I have stored in the fridge. There may be some cheese somewhere, and I am pretty sure I bought some juice the other day, but I have no idea where it is. Anyway. You may dislike what I write because of all the amauteur(ish) writing, or you may not. Who knows. Give it a try and write a comment. It gets lonely writing to no one. Also, feel free to grant me inspiration not only by making comments about the world and/or characters, but specially by suggesting a music for me to listen while I write the next chapter. Be warned : I do get influenced easily by the background music I listen while writing. If you exist, of course. I'm seriously doubting anyone has read anything after the "lolicon hikikomori" thing. Also, I have a tiny dick.Just so you can feel better about yourself a little more. Or maybe I have just degraded psychologically a little more and now I am into shame-play. I wonder if the psychiatrist would increase my meds a bit if I told her about it.Hope I never get to penispanick, though! Self-mutilation, especially of the castration type, would be baaaad. After all, I do like my prostitutes. And having sex with them when I can afford it. Oh, yeah, the story. I will just write the first chapter in a few moments.Until later, b(i)each.
