BANG!
"You know, bring able to explain why you brought something like that right to us might make us a little less upset about this mess we're all stuck in now." Sentenza ranted as he sprinted as fast as his legs would take him. All while firing his gun back at the monster that was chasing them.
"Ba, ba, ba," Nugget responded in an obviously mocking tone.
"IIIIII'mmmm nnnnooottt uuupppssseeettt," Bakade said.
"I'm just happy she's back!" Pockets cheered as she sped forward on a tiny tricycle.
Ding Ding
Pockets punctuated her statement by ringing her bike's bell.
THUMP. SSSKKKKRRR.
THUMP. SSSKKKKRRR.
Behind them, the monstrosity pursued them. It's hands desperately grabbed at anything the could so they could drag their grotesque form forward. Its hollow eyes stared forward as its jaw hung open and loose.
"We should fight it off," Trizel finally said. "We have already lost too much ground."
"How did your last fight go?" Sentenza asked as he reloaded his pistol.
"That was different," Trizel snapped. "The area was disadvantageous. I was fighting on a large. On solid ground, it would have been different."
"Gggguuuuuyyyyyssss," Bakade groaned, "Ccccaaannnn yyyyooouuu jjjjuuuussssttt nnnnooootttt?"
"I'm just trying to be realistic," Sentenza complained.
"No, you are just underestimating my abilities!" Huffed Trizel.
"Pretty hard to underestimare something so mediocre," Sentenza shot back.
"Ggggggguuuuyyyyysssss!" Bakade snarled with the fury of a forest fire.
Sentenza let out a frustrated huff before he fired back at the monster again.
Trizel's face was almost bright red as he crushed his teeth against each other. "I grabbed my destiny by my own two hands," he whispered through his teeth. "I did the impossible. I defeated the status quo and changed the world itself."

Trizel's voice started to rise in volume. "I set myself against gods and devils. I stood toe to toe with the supposed creators and forced them to give in to me."
"Wwwwhhhaaattt aaarrreee yyyoouuu..." Bakade started to say, before Trizel cut her off.
Trizel planted his right foot and turned around with fury in his eyes. "I am king of the Skyborne isles! Savior of humanity, and proof that fate holds no power over those with a strong enough will. I WILL NOT BE STOPPED HERE BY THE LIKES OF YOU!"
"Hhrrrraaaaagggghhhh!!!" Trizel let out a roar as he held his fists up and let the beast slam against him.
"Idiot," Sentenza sneered under his breath.

Triquetra: A Multi-Class Isekai or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Accept the End of the Multiverse
Triquetra: An Multi-Class Isekei Adventure I know, I know, you have heard it all before. Yes I was hit by a truck. Yes I ended up in a Fantastical World suspiciously similar to one of my favorite RPG’s. Yes I had access to cheats no one else possessed. Yes it was a world of classes and levels and magic powers. Finally, yes I was an overweight middle-aged loser failing to live up to my potential. Given my eclectic reading habits I should have been better prepared. Unfortunately I was not. Sure I could multi-class with reduced penalties, but my starting class was Scholar! No combat abilities and very limited spellcasting. My HUD interface costs mana to use, and my universal translation seemed to be outsourced to Giggle Translate. I’m supposed to be an OP MC! Not a slice-o- life struggling to survive in the wilderness. Not to mention the Arch-Magus who summoned me, mistimed everything, I arrived 300 years too late, after the fall of the Empire I was supposed to save. The surviving remnants have devolved into Murder Hobos. What’s worse is that the Great Devourer, Ancient Calamity, and Spawn from the Void Beyond Time, Space, and Sanity is now aware of a new world to plunder, a world called Dirt! (Told you this translator sucks) Warning Extra Crunchy Authorial Vebosity! Lots of infodump in the early chapters, but I learn my lesson and it does get better, eventually. I do not own the Cover image, found it on a free image site.
