"You're just afraid of someone who actually speaks their mind!" Og'drimun snarled.
Trizel lowered his gaze to look the demon in the eyes. The giant's eyes were brimming with fury as he clenched his fists at his side. "Hah! Not even a flea would be afraid of you." he countered. "Small, weak, and stupid. A terrible combination for anyone dumb enough to consider you an ally of theirs."
"Wwwwhhhyyy ddddooooonnnn'ttt yyyooouuu tttwwwwoooo cccaaalllmmm ddoooowwwnnn aaaattt llleeeaaasssttt fffooorrr nnnooowwww?" Bakade suggested.
"I'm perfectly calm!" Og'drimun shouted. "Calm as the calmest calm guy over here. It's this big buffoon that's all fired up and throwing insults."
CRACK!
Without hesitation, Trizel threw another punch right at Og'drimun. They were closer to each other than last time, so there was no time for Og'drimun to even realize he was about to be hit, let alone try and dodge it. So, the giant fist found it's mark, and sent Og'drimun rocketing down the hallway ahead of them.
"He's no speed bag, so there's not much fo a point in treating him like one there fella!" Pockets exclaimed.
"I'd keep my neck away from that noose if I were you two," Sentenza warned as he puffed on the cigarillo in his mouth. "Let it sort itself out on its own."
"Bbbbuuutttt..." muttered Bakade.
THUMP. SSSKKKKRRR.
THUMP. SSSKKKKRRR.
Thudding and scraping noises were coming down the hallway from further ahead. Then, in a flash, Nugget was running towards them with Og'drimun held limply in her beak. The chicken tossed the small beast over towards Bakade as she leaped into the air.
Pockets had an amused expression on her face, while Sentenza, Bakade, and Trizel all just looked confused. Nugget stopped as she made it past their group and turned her head back to them. "Baw..."
She was interrupted by a high-pitched howl that almost seemed to shake the very walls. The amalgamation of flesh was still pulling its way down the hallway after the small chicken, but now the others were in its path as well.

Life on Torus Terminal is usually fast paced, but simple. He has made quite the life for himself on Torus Terminal, especially in the darker corners of the station. The elites of Torus Terminal praise his name, for once he took up arms, crime began to fall. What they did not realize was that was because he had claimed the seedy underbelly of Torus Terminal for himself and his own goals. The elites praise him as a paragon of law. The criminals fear him as a ruthlessly clever crime boss. Those closest to him, know him as the General. This story was originally posted on the Humanity Fuck Yeah subreddit, where it evolved from a simple play on a historical figure in a science fiction setting into a full blown space opera. I kind of took it as an opportunity to explore a setting I've had rolling around in my head for years. I also decided that it would be nice to have it in a place where I could more easily come back and edit it later, so I'm reposting it here.
