I mean, I can kind of see Ted's point. Death admitted with a firm nod as he crossed his arms. There's a ton of stuff going on in this room here.
Narissa narrowed her eyes at the skeleton. Then, she turned her eyes over to Ted. The two of them were standing shoulder to shoulder. Like a wall, firm in their decision against her.
"I thought you agreed to do whatever I said?" Her voice was almost a growl, animalistic and angry.
Ted flinched back slightly, as a sharp pain throbbed at the base of his skull. It was like a splitting headache had suddenly flared up and settled down there. But, despite the pain something inside him pushed him to stand his ground. It was so obvious after all? Why couldn't she see the truth about this place? Something was here, something important, and even Ted could see that plain as day.
"The ceiling," he argued as some unknown will power bubbled up from inside him. "It's changed, hasn't it? The weird painting. It's obvious something's important about this room."
I mean, yeah. Death agreed. Everywhere has been really similar, but this place? Death opened his arms wide as he walked towards the edge of the balcony and spun around. This is completely different, dude. It's plain as the lack of nose on my face.
Narissa's eyes opened up in surprise. She titled her head slightly as she focused her gaze on Ted. She frowned and lowered her eyebrows as her stare was so intense that it seemed like any moment her gaze would bore a hole straight through Ted's skull.
"Not everything that seems important really is. This room is just like that," she lied. "It's just some simple trap for sentimental idiots like yourselves."

While there were talking, the strangely viscous smoke had finally made its way up to their floor level. The strange substance almost seemed like it was reaching out over the ledge as it spilled towards the three of them.
Narissa's eyes widened, and she instinctively jumped back. "Don't let any of that get on you!" She said as a bead of sweat dropped down from her forehead. "We really need to get out of here now."
Death and Ted didn't even look down. "You're just changing the subject now," Ted sighed. "Just because you realize we're right about this room."
Yeah! agreed Death as the smoke quickly came for his feet. Just admit we're right, and let's get on with this thing. You're the one slowing us down no....
Death was cut off as Narissa waved her hands in the air. "Sacred oath that binds me, bring my soul to bear. Tear from my heart my one desire and make these men mine!"
A surge of twinkling shadows reached out from Narissa's mouth. Like a blanket, it wrapped around Death and Ted. Then, it lifted them into the air as it tightened around their bodies. It might have squeezed a little too much, but Narissa seemed indifferent as she held her hands out towards them and bit down with her mouth.
As her mouth closed, the starlight blanket was severed, and whipped around Ted and Death, like a bungee cord. Narissa looked like she was on the verge of vomiting, but she held it in as she threw both her hands back behind her.
As her hands moved back, Ted and Death were flung through the air towards her. The two of them sailed past her and fell onto the ground before the dark blankets around them disappeared into thin air.

"What's going," grumbled Ted as his head felt like it was on fire while simultaneously trying to bash its way out of his skull. "What just happened?"
Ugh. My stomach. I think I'm gonna hurl. Complained Death.
"You can be sick with your nonexistent stomach later," Narissa said as her face turned slightly blue, and she held a hand over her stomach. "But we have to get out of here now. Before any of us get ensnared."
The inky black cloud almost seemed to rear back like a snake, preparing to strike, as it approached them.
