《The Bartender at the End of the Universe》Ch 123: Might as Well Throw it Back

Trizel grit his teeth as Bakade tried to tend to the blackened skin on his arm.
"Aaahhhh!!! Someone put me out! PUT ME OUT!!!" Og'drimun cried as he flew around in a circle with his entire body covered in blue flames.
WHAM!
Og'drimun was slammed into the wall by an oversized pie. Pockets stood there, bent forward with a leg behind her, and her hand extended. She smiled as the pie slowly slid down the wall, and left a streak of white cream all the way down.
As the pie slowly touched the ground it peeled off of the wall with a SCHLACK, and as it landed on its tin, Ogdrimun was left plastered against the wall and covered in the cream pie.
The tiny demon smacked his lips and then shuddered. "Ugh," he groaned. "Couldn't you have covered me in something a little less bitter?"
"Just be happy she had something to help you while you flew around like a madman," Sentenza suggested calmly. "I would've put you out like Trizel, but you just wouldn't hold still, now would you?"
"Easy for you to say!" Og'drimun sneered. "You weren't the one on fire. Especially when I'm a demon, and I shouldn't even be able to be set on fire in the first place!"
"You should have listened to us," Trizel snapped as Bakade bandaged up his arm with parts of the gauze that had been around her hand.
"Pfft, how was I supposed to know this fire would catch me on fire?" Og'drimun grumbled as he started to wring out the cream from his fur.
Trizel stood up abruptly and pushed Bakade to the side. He stormed up to Og'drimun with fire in his eyes as he lifted up his fist.

Og'drimun looked over at him and stood still with a slack jawed expression on his face as his brain seemed to process what was happening. But as Trizel brought his fist back and stepped forward, the small demon's eyes grew wide, and he darted off to the side.
The problem was, Trizel was not just big. He was fast, too. Og'drimun wasn't prepared, and that was all Trizel needed. Before he could get away, the giant's fist came crashing into his side.
Og'drimun was sent flying, and thanks to his attempt to avoid the punch, he had been hit at an angle. This probably helped make the punch less impactful, but it also made him spin around as he was knocked away.
"You dumb animal!" Trizel shouted. "You have been nothing but a hindrance and a drain on us since you arrived! Every breath you take is wasted on keeping something so insignificant and utterly pathetic alive." He punctuated his anger by spitting on the ground before he turned back to let Bakade finish wrapping up his arm.
Sentenza smirked at Trizel's outburst, while Bakade seemed completely dumbfounded. Pockets looked like she was on the verge of a fit of laughter, but as Og'drimun flew away, she moved to act.
The clown girl slipped off her shoes and turned them inside out. As she pushed her feet into them, they looked like rubber waders. She reached into her back pocket and pulled out a yellow bucket hat that she slapped on her head. With her other hand she reached inside her pants, and slowly produced a fishing rod.
She gripped the rod with both hands and quickly cast out the fishing line. The hook flew forward with a rubber ducky bobber right behind it. The metal cut through the air as Og'drimun spun out back into the open chamber they had climbed to get where they were.

As his spinning showed no sign of slowing, the fishing line wrapped around his body and the hook spun around the line itself before locking into place. With the wire around him, Og'drimun started to slow just slightly, and his weight tugged on the fishing pole Pockets was holding.
Pockets smiled in glee as she yanked on the rod with all of her might. She quickly began to reel him in as she grunted and groaned with effort.
"It's got ta be a ten-footer at least," she said in a southern drawl.
"Make that at least a twenty!" She added with after another grunt of effort.
FInally, she had Og'drimun completely reeled in and at the top of the fishing pole. The demon looked a little green, and as his head spun in small circles, he held a hand over his mouth as he made a small retching sound.
Pockets looked disappointed as she pulled out a bowie knife twice the size of her forearm. With one quick flick, she cut the line and freed Og'drimun before she let the knife flip in the air and fall back down inside of her pants. She stuck her finger inside Og'drimun's mouth and yanked him up by his cheek.
She held him up by her face and sighed. "Darn," she said still in her southern accent, "I could'a sworn it was something big, and not another small fry."
"Who er ou allin shall?" Og'drimun managed to blurt out as her finger fought with gravity against his cheek.
