"Deceiver! Betrayer! Accursed one! Leave this sacred place at once!"
"Uh...any plan for this?" Ted asked as the building began to shake.
He looked around, but the rock outside seemed to still be standing still. He could see Trizel off in the distance, still climbing along the rope. Seemingly unaware of the trembling building behind him.
A particularly strong lurch of the building sent Ted flying onto the ground. He looked up, and a rush of air flew from outside to deeper in.
"I don't think that was aimed at us." Narissa mused as the shaking started to die down.
"If it was, it took them long enough to sort us out. I mean, you've been here a while now, right?" Lulu said as she reached a hand down to help Ted up. It seemed that the shaking wasn't enough to knock her down.
"Correct. However, Nugget has wandered off somewhere." Sid explained.
"What? How could a chicken cause this much trouble?" Og'drimun asked.
"I wouldn't be surprised," Ted said as Lulu helped him up. "She's surprisingly perceptive about things. Especially when it comes to causing people trouble."
"I didn't really get that from her," Lulu said.
"She is...difficult to deal with." Sid declared. "An aggressive puzzle that refuses to be solved."
"Sounds like you have personal experience with that," Lulu added.
Sid sighed. "She is unreasonable. I tried to facilitate communication logically with her, and she attacked me. She is a very illogical being."
"I'm sure you didn't instigate anything," Narissa said with a small smirk.
There was a loud groaning from deeper inside the building. Like two slabs of stone pushing against each other. As the sound reached them, the eleven-sided pentagon started to glow a bright teal. There was a bright flash from it, and then a small ring of light pulsed from inside the polygon. It started as a small ball in the center, and then reached out to the end of the polygon, before it dissipated and a new tiny ball appeared in the center and repeated the process.

The Code of Life - Epic Fantasy/Scifi LitRPG Series
Strange new worlds with monsters and beasts, some to tame, some to slain. Some to make friends of as you realize you're a bigger monster than they could ever be... And you have to move and progress. Learn and survive. Only that can unlock the boxes of secrets and provide answers to the ultimate of riddles. Seemingly randomly selected, thirteen people of diverse backgrounds are given access codes to the MOLI. It offers a strange new experience that looks very seductive and engaging, with stunning graphics and alluring species, just utterly mindblowing and addictive. But, it seems nobody knows what MOLI actually is, a whole new level in VR gaming or an inexplicable transference to another universe with different worlds and their own laws and customs. The experience feels so real it’s difficult to be certain. But they have to find the answers fast because people soon start to die. *** This is not intended to be a typical litRPG series, although it uses a lot of its elements to help create the whole setting. Planning to publish a chapter a day, so be warned of the editing mistakes that are certain to sneak through. Hope to keep on fixing them as I go along.

Soul Core Online
Soul Core Online was a game that few people were interested in until after it was released, due to its odd way of handling character growth but this soon changed as people started to realise just how different this game was. Unlike many of its predecessors the NPCs in Soul Core Online acted in a way that was indistinguishable from real people and the world felt alive because of this instead of the empty and sterile cities we had come to expect, even walking down the street could give you insights to how these people lived. In my case this was the world that I had always wanted to visit and I soon found myself embroiled in the constantly changing world that is Soul Core Online.
