Red light!
As Death turned around, everyone froze in place. Well, all of them except for Og'drimun who tried to sneak closer behind Narissa. As Death looked over the crowd, he slowly lifted up a single finger and pointed to Narissa.
Death. He declared solemnly.
Narissa raised an eyebrow but didn't move. Then, Death appeared right behind her and put his hand on her shoulder. Did you think I wouldn't see? This is my domain. My realm, and here I know everything that goes on.
Narissa's shoulders deflated as she turned to walk away. "Dumb game anyway," she mumbled under her breath.
That's right! Back to the starting line. Should've stopped before I turned around. Death looked around proudly, and then looked at Ted.
Ted had his foot halfway up, but was managing to hold himself still. Then, Death appeared behind him, and he stumbled forward.
Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Death for you too. Back to the start. Death wagged his finger chidingly.
Ted chuckled and shook his head. "Oh sure, only because you surprised me. I was doing pretty well this time."
Ted wiped himself off as he got up and walked back to the starting line where Narissa was standing at the ready.
Death glanced over and his eye stopped on Og'drimun, but his gaze stayed there only a moment before he moved back into the distance.
"I didn't even move," Narissa grumbled.
"He hasn't been wrong so far. Maybe it was a muscle twitch or something?" Ted suggested.
"Uh, it's a dumb game anyway." she complained.
"Well, he won the last one, so he got to choose the next game. That's how it works." Ted told her.
"Yeah. Yeah. I joined in to win, so I can't exactly back out just because I haven't gotten first place in something yet."

Green light!
Death spun around away from them, and everyone sprinted forward. Even Narissa and Ted seemed to forget their conversation for a moment as they rushed towards Death.
Red light!
Death snapped back around after just a brief moment of silence on his part. Everyone froze in place, but while Bakade stood still like an oak, Trizel leaned forward slightly like a sapling in the wind.
Death raised his hand up towards Trizel and in a solemn voice declared, Death.
Ted was running through the woods. His heart was beating so fast, it threatened to leap right out of his chest. He knew they were right behind him, and he gripped the polka dot cloth in his hand even tighter.
BANG!
A gunshot rang out in the dark woods and for a moment, everything grew silent.
Ted paused to catch his breath a little as he gasped for air. He strained his ears as he bent forward and put his hands on his knees. There was nothing, but then he heard a twig snap. Like a dam being broken, that twig let loose a cacophony of sounds. Feet rushing towards him, and hushed whispers surrounded him.
Despite the burning in his chest, Ted ran again. He was close, he knew it. He just had to make it outside of the forest.
SLAP!
"Ow!" Ted cried out instinctively as he felt a sharp pain in his back and he fell forward onto the ground. He tumbled slightly, and ended up lying on his back on the ground.
Ted let out a defeated sigh as he closed his eyes. "Go on then, you might as well finish me off."
A skeletal hand grabbed Ted's wrist and pulled him up. It was Sid.
He nodded at Ted as he said, "You know the rules. You must head to jail now."

"No, you've got to take me to jail," Ted groaned. "Man, I just wish it wasn't so far from here. I was really close."
"Quite." Sid agreed. "If my tag had missed you had a seventy-three point four eight seven percent chance of obtaining victory for your team."
Ted smiled as he dropped the flag onto the ground. "I hope you brought someone else with you. You can't escort me and the flag, you know."
Lulu and Trizel stood face to face. Lulu had her hands straight out with their palms up towards the sky. Trizel held his hands just above hers with his palms facing down. The two of them stared into each other's eyes. Lulu lurched forward slightly, but Trizel didn't flinch.
"So, Trizel. How are you doing today?" Lulu asked.
"Hah! Such paltry tactics will not work on me. I cannot be so easily...OW!" While Trizel was talking, Lulu turned her wrists over top his hands, and slapped both of them before she quickly returned her hands to their original position.
Trizel scowled at her, but she just smiled.
Ted rubbed his bright red wrists as he looked over at the two of them. "How's it going?"
"Trizel won't give up! Its wild." Og'drimun said with clear glee.
"Yeah, I didn't except you to be able to slap so hard." Ted said as he showed the demon how abused the back of his hands were.
Og'drimun smiled. "You better believe it. Why, if I hadn't gotten set against that hollow king guy, I would've taken this whole thing. But dang, one hit from him and I was out."
Yeah, I didn't think my hands could hurt like this. I mean, I'm a freaking skeleton! Death agreed as he rubbed some kind of lotion onto the back of his hand.
"OW!"
"Ah shoot, you made me miss him getting hit!" Og'drimun whined as he turned his attention back to Lulu and Trizel.
"Duck, duck, duck, duck..." Og'drimun chanted as he touched the top of everyone's head while they sat in a circle.
"This is absolutely ridiculous...you know this is ridiculous, right?" Narissa groaned as Og'drimun messed up her hair with his hand as he passed and said Duck.
"Goose!" Og'drimun called that out as he had just barely made contact with Bakade's antler.
"IIIIII wwwiiillll gggeeettt yyyooouuuu!" Bakade cheered as she quickly got up to chase the demon around the circle.
"Got any eights?" Sentenza asked.
"Bawk," Nugget said as she shook her head.
Sentenza grumbled under his breath as he dealt himself another card. "Not the kind of card game I meant...dang chicken...doubt she really memorized them so quickly..."

Dex's Adventure Through The Elemental Nations (Completed)
Clair/Dex is bored of her first life, so she/he decides to end it and see what happens after death. But his/her system has an update and new possibilities arise. Now he/she's going to live as Naruto with some extras, but was it the right decision to change the childhood difficulty from Normal to Very Hard? Read it yourself and see what changes Dex will bring. Here comes the chicken eating and crazy being called Dex. We all hope the Elemental Nations are ready for him. --------------------------------------- My second story, hope it will have a better start than the first one. Clair will be OP, just not as OP as previously. She will also start fairly weak, cause she is a baby..... Have a funny read. There might come more tags, like reader Interactive or Romance, but again I'm not sure. Don't know if I have to say it, but I don't know anything from the Naruto Universe, I only own the new things I introduce and naturally Dex.

Out of Foxes to Give
When you’re reincarnated as Naruto Uzumaki you do one of two things: cheer because you remember the story and are able to abuse your future knowledge, or realize that you’re in a world where they train child soldiers who throw fireballs and explosions around like candy and reasonably freak out. In a sense you’re either screwed or screwed but you know why. I didn’t really read Naruto when I was a kid. However, had I known that it would be useful in death, I would have! And I’m certainly regretting it now! ———————————— A definite AU for Naruto. I’m going to remove some parts and add some others for the sake of plot holes(so if something doesn't seem quite right it's probably intended... maybe), but I’ll try to stick to as close to how the Naruto-verse works. Also, say goodbye to canon! Also, disclaimer, I do not own Naruto as that belongs solely to Kishimoto. I do, however, own this story.
