《The Bartender at the End of the Universe》Ch 83: Penciling Him In

Lulu stood over a large piece of paper and scratched behind her ear with a pencil.
"Pillars?" Narissa asked as she rested her chin on the back of her hand.
"Pillars." Ted replied.
"But why?" Asked Narissa.
"I wish I could tell you." Ted sighed.
"I mean, it's no problem. We can put in whatever we like," Lulu nodded as she continued to mark things down on the piece of paper. "Pillars are fine, but I've got to admit, I'm curious as to why too."
Ted sighed again as he scratched the back of his neck. "It's just...the way it looks or something. Pillars on buildings just feel...strong? Imposing maybe? Regal? Sort of gives the idea the place is important or something?"
"That's how you describe it?" Narissa asked as she raised an eyebrow.
Ted shrugged. "You know I'm bad at explaining my thoughts."
"No worries! No worries!" Lulu laughed. "You don't have to know why you like something to include it! And we've still got all that basement storage since the fire just took out the staircase. Plenty of room down there to spread out if we need to!"
"Where do you want these?" Trizel was covered in sweat as he walked up with half a dozen logs on his back.
Lulu gestured her hand vaguely to the side. "Just over there for now."
Trizel nodded.
Before he could actually put them down, Lulu called out to him. "Now, now. Can't afford to rest just get."
"I was not..."
"No talking back, just head back for more logs." Lulu said in a song song voice.
Trizel lowered his head and sighed as he dropped the logs. He turned around and ran back towards the pine forest.

So, about my idea...
"The flaming skull entrance?" Lulu asked with a smile.
Yeah! Like the clown thing at the carnival! Except it stays closed until you raise your fist in the air, and then like the skull nods back and opens its mouth. Then this giant tongue comes out and fire sprays out from the eyes and like two cannons to the side! Then you walk in, and that's the front door.
"Hmm, a few new additions I see," Lulu smirked as she drew on her paper.
Yeah! It just spoke to me while I was sorting through the ashes for cool stuff. Death added with a nod.
"Isn't that a bit...gaudy?" Narissa asked as she reeled back from the sheer audacity of Death's suggestions.
"It's kinda like a way to lock the door though, which the other one didn't have." Ted interjected.
"Hmm, yeah security. Mhm. Mhm." Lulu mumbled as she stuck her tongue out of the side of her mouth.
Trust me. Death said as he nodded and gave Narissa a thumbs up. It'll be super sick!

Covenant Sinners: The Origin of a Demon Queen
Demon-slayer knight Hector Aeronwen became an enemy of all humankind after saving a dying half-demon girl out of pity. Little did he know, his impulsive action had forever changed the course of the world and the fates of many. This is the story about Hector's desperate quest and the beginning of the demoness whose destiny is to shake the world to its very foundation. Author's note: At the risk of spoiling too much of this story, I want to reveal a bit about the core idea behind this work of fiction. I set out with the idea to write a story in the perspective of the second in command of a demon lord, which then would be followed up with large scale kingdom buildings and warring states. But then I asked myself: what past do they have between them for the Demon Lord to have so much faith in her second in command, and for him to be so loyal to such a horrible being? So this is my attempt at writing the origin of those two, who, while hated by all races in the world, still have each other as the only confidant to entrust their life to. If you are like me and want to see where this premise, with a vague destination in mind, will lead to, please have a read and give me your valued feedback!

Lord of cauldrons
A man reincarnated to a world where cultivation ruled supreme. One were even practices like human cauldrons and dual cultivation was commonplace and a part of the culture. What was not commonplace was treating these cauldrons with any ounce of respect or affection. These cauldrons were like pills or potions to be used and consumed or thrown away. They were often just a stepping stone in one's immortal path. One man thought, "What if they were my immortal path." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My chinese knowledge is limited to wuxia/xianxia books and cultivator games and I will only follow it loosely, I have my own cultivation system which will be basis for this story The reason I am writing this is because I have yet to find a dual cultivation story that has something I really wanted to read. Using the 'cauldrons' like Pokémon and the 'cauldrons' being the main source of power. I will update this at a minimum of once per week.
