Arthur's Point of View
Middle Rung
Lucia and I walked through the middle rung where the highest-ranking nobles resided. Above them, the Temple where the Priestesses resided and a constant reminder that they would never be at the top. This entire mountain was a poet’s wet dream.
Clean streets lined with white cobblestone that almost shined in the sunlight made me thankful I didn’t live here. No matter how beautiful it looked, it was more like a giant target than anything else. Large buildings towered over the streets, with Elves all looking at me in surprise. Mostly because I was there with Lucia, who was the newly revealed High Elf. Rumors had it that many nobles were rather irked at that.
“Why do you need to speak to Aydalia and Alien?” Lucia questioned as she walked beside me.
“Personal reasons. There are a few questions I would like answered, and I believe they would be best suited to.” I replied nonchalantly.
Augustus was very forthcoming. He asked me if my story was true and then proceeded to inquire about a few more details. Obviously, I couldn’t answer everything, but enough to convince him I was telling the truth. He promised to keep our talk to himself and even helped me with Kine and Floyd.
Kine was an Orphan, while no one knows much about Floyd. His uniqueness apparently garnered the eyes of both Priestesses, but something about both of their situations felt off. I assumed that’s just what most people knew, but if you rule a kingdom, you have access to more information than everyone else. That’s what makes it so easy to write history. Especially when you live so long.
“Well, perhaps the Priestesses could help?” Lucia pointed out.
I stopped and looked at her for a moment before she just chuckled nervously. “If you’re to rule one day, you need to learn how to read people.” Her eyes widened at my statement before I started walking again.

“Rule!?” She hissed in a hushed tone. “Are you crazy?! I am not meant to rule!”
If things had been different… “What if something were to happen to Arceana and Elincia?” I questioned her, and she studied me. “Demons have been coming and going along with assassins. Do you expect me to take over as the highest-ranking official?” I scoffed and then gestured to her. “You might not know it, but it’s obviously in your blood.”
She seemed stumped at that. “I…”
“Lucia!” An unfamiliar voice called out, and we turned towards a beautiful home with a female Elf in the front yard.
To her credit, Lucia quickly recovered. “Aydalia!” She said cheerfully, albeit a bit forced.
They hugged, and I studied Momma Farro. Much like Ayda, she had green hair, gold eyes, a green aura, and was short. A dress adorned her petite body as she looked to be around the same age as Ayda too. It was almost scary how similar they looked, but there was an air of maturity about her that her daughter did not have.
The two women looked at me as I approached. “And you must be Sir Arthur.”
“Unfortunately.” Was my dry response before I smiled. “You must be Momma Farro.”
“Arthur!” Lucia chastised me.
Aydalia waved Lucia’s concerns away, and she giggled. “I’ve certainly never been called that before, but it is fitting.”
The High Elf sighed. “There is no reason to be so informal.”
Playfully nudging Lucia with her hip, Aydalia looked back up at me. “It is a title I possess, so no harm done. If anything, it is somewhat flattering.”
“Good, because I plan on addressing your husband in a similar manner.”
“I would love to see that!” Momma Farro replied. “I can imagine it now! He won’t be able to say anything because of your rank! It will be glorious!”

Quirking a brow and gesturing to her as I looked to Lucia, I spoke. “Are you sure this is Ayda’s and Alwin’s mom?”
Lucia narrowed her eyes. “Yes.” She replied cautiously. “Why do you ask?”
“Cause she’s awesome.” Turning back to the mom, I continued. “Tell me everything that irks your husband, and I will do my best to make it happen.”
Aydalia swatted my chest. “Behave yourself!” She replied playfully. “I would never betray my husband in such a way!” Then she stepped in closer. “However, he is not fond of snakes.”
I chuckled lightly at that. “Well, then he has no need to fear. As much as I wish I transported them around with me, I must admit that I have none on my person.”
“Maybe next time.” Aydalia offered.
“Perhaps.”
With a smile, she held out her hand to me. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you. My name is Aydalia Farro.”
Taking it, I gave the back of her hand a light kiss with a bow. “Arthur Pendragon. At your service.”
Letting her hand go, I could feel Lucia just staring at me in shock, but I ignored her. “So, I hear you’ve been taking care of my children.”
“In a manner of speaking.” I placed my hands on my hips. “They’re a bit of a handful, but nothing I can’t handle. Right, Lucia?”
“Wha-“ The High Elf sputtered out.
“Exactly.” I confirmed.
Aydalia smiled at that before she gave me a more worried look. “I heard about what Ayda did.”
I was silent at that, and Lucia gestured to me slowly. “Arthur forgave Ayda for that.”
I shrugged at her answer. “Kind of. It wasn’t really her fault anyway.” Crossing my arms, I continued. “It never should’ve happened in the first place, and I’ve learned my lesson with your kids. They act rashly and without logic.”
“Arthur.”
“You know, fool me once and all that. Your son also has a stick up his ass, but I’m tolerating that as well.”
“Arthur!” Lucia said more firmly.
To my surprise, Aydalia just nodded. “Then I’m thankful to have you around looking out for them.” Momma Farro replied before gesturing for us to follow her inside. “Please come in and make yourself at home.”
Lucia and I stayed behind for a moment before I whispered. “I like her.”

Where Giants Fall
A fantasy LitRPG about traversing through worlds and slaying giants with nothing but a wooden suit and an army of treants. Nicholas Atkins didn't expect to wake up naked in the glowing woods. What he did expect was waking up to a hangover after last night's party- fortunately, that wasn't the case. Unfortunately though, he had worse problems to take care of than a headache. At first he blamed it on the alcohol; from what he recalled in Biology, glowing flowers didn't exactly exist in the realm of reality. However he was as sober as he could be, so next he blamed the drugs, but there was a problem- he didn't have the money to do drugs in the first place. When the fairies came, things became even weirder. Talks of climbing towers, magic tricks, and dinner were all on the table. Of course, dinner was the priority, but so was getting back home. However slowly, Nico realized that he might actually want to stay in this fantasy world. After all, he's had enough listening to Professor Paul's lecture on calculus- the swords and sorceries were just an added bonus. Still, staying in this new world has its own costs- and money is but one thing on that long, long list. Updated everyday except Saturday GMT+8 (Specific time varies by around 30 minutes). Mon at 9:00 AM Tue at 12:00 PM Wed at 3:00 PM Thu at 6:00 PM Fri at 9:00 PM Sun at 12:00 AM

Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.

I Have Even Read the Rulebook!
As all stories begin, Prof died. Yes, truck-kun had something to do with that, but also a bird, a cat and some rebar. When he was presented with with the opportunity in the Afterlife Administration Bureau to be transmigrated into a game-like fantasy world, he did something, no one ever did: he read the Rulebook. Follow Prof on his road to be rich without working, touring a whole new world without a care and witness his realisation, that despite having read the Rulebook the folks living with the System for untold millennia know more about the rules. Important notes: 1, I'm not a native speaker, so be prepared for occassional typos, iffy grammar and maybe awkward sentences. The spell check was running, when I wrote the chapters, but it works in strange ways... If you point out mistakes, I will try to correct them 2, Scheduling will be two chapters a week, posted Saturdays before noon (CET). Depending on how much new chapters I can write consistently there will be probably more but as long as I have leftover chapters, the two per week will be posted no matter what. Chapters will be around 1500-2500 words as MS Word counts it. 3, I did not and will not post this novel on another site, if you find it somewhere else, please inform me 4, The Main Character's progression is slow, there will be no Levels, Skills, Abilities, Feats, Perks and Cheat Powers raining down on him 5, I've put Comedy as a genre because of my writing style not because the novel is a comedy per se. On the other hand, Traumatising Content is there because there is a lot of speciesism - those Elves are not nice people. 6, I put a lot of pop-cultural references into the chapters, try to find them! Enjoy!
