Holy hell!
I finally got another title.
I was not even expecting that, because unlike the last time my feelings were not that intense, and I somehow assumed the two were correlated.
By intense, I did not mean not genuine or strong at all, just the nature of this specific line of thought was just warm and fuzzy as I was looking at them and smiling, so I still meant every single word of it.
Seeing all of that regeneration and knowing how it helped me immensely before, I was overjoyed! It was even more so when I saw how obscure and confusing the skill was.
One thing I was sure of, not understanding something meant you did not even have the qualifications to learn about it, which would undoubtedly make it very powerful.
'Hey, system what's up with this Akashic Push, and what is the Akashic Records?'
[As the skills say, the Akashic Records are very complex, but in simpler terms, it's like a Library that holds all of the skills for a specific species since their creation.]
'Which means that if I use the skill on someone it'd increase their chances of getting new skills is that right?'
[Yes.]
I was mind blown once again, this skill was too overpowered.
Although it was not directly combat-related and it would not help me personally to get stronger, it was a perfect skill for nurturing those who show promise.
That was the exact type of thing I needed since I was planning on expansion.
It also had Stamina Regeneration just like the title Truth Seeker, but so far I had never encountered any situation which required me to use all of my Stamina.
That was also the reason it was my lowest attribute, one thing I noticed about it was that mana drained Stamina fairly quickly. Flying or doing any taxing physical activity with just your body was incomparable to doing them while using skills, manipulating mana, and so on...
Which just made me realize that the body is very necessary for quick, effortless, and efficient transmission of mana which ironically convinced me of the importance of mana.
Hmm... This would need further thought.
All of the women were by now resting under the tree's shade due to the scorching sun, I did not know if that was the norm or if it was an especially hot summer day.
They seemed like they were enjoying resting here and so was I, I figured we'd just continue later.
I followed them below the shade sat down by the bark, closed my eyes, and opened my Status Window to figure out what to do with my Skill points.

Whenever I glance at that 300 Spirit, my heart skips a beat.
What kind of damage would I be able to do? I had no idea, but I wanted to find out. I also just noticed a huge increase in my Spiritual Energy and Spiritual Resistance, which was another piece of great news. Especially with how potent and fatal spiritual skills were in combat.
I made some small changes to the Skill menu and hurriedly opened it.

The new menu I rearranged looked glorious!
Even more than that, I learned a new thing!
Spells also have a measure of progression or rather a proficiency.
Leria's Universal scroll being solely a knowledge scroll was the only one at 100%.
It also seemed like even The Beastmaster's Mark needed some further learning on my part contrary to how I approached it as just some sort of an item.
Mind Link and Memory Transfer also had room for improvements, though I had no idea what to expect as they were already good enough for what I needed them to do.
I suppose if Mind Link could be formed easily and for longer distances would be great, and for Memory Transfer to become more docile because I did not have any confidence in sharing my memories with anyone other than Shams.
How great would it be if I could increase my spells' proficiency just like skills?
'System, why can't I increase my Spells with skill points just like how I do with skills?'
[Certain conditions.]
It did not even finish its sentence, the meaning was clear.
I needed to reach or rather achieve something to unlock it, but I was not discouraged at all!
Just the fact that it was indeed possible was enough for me. After all, skills were limited in the sense that I did not have any freedom over what to choose, unlike spells.
There was also the matter of skill evolution beyond the Perfection realm but it was still a mystery.
Looking at my skills, I knew that each and every one of them was very important and I'd without a doubt raise all of them to the Perfection realm. However, the order was what mattered.
Skills like Gentle Touch which was still at the Beginner level, even though I was sure it was also powerful. But I just never had the time nor urgency to upgrade it. I hoped I would not regret it later on.
I had some great ideas and plans on how to approach and use Akashic Push, but they had to wait.
Seeing that I was at loss on what to upgrade, I figured I'd leave it until I was pressed for a specific skill.
Then, I opened my inventory to take note of everything.
I needed to know my capital, in the forest, it was not a pressing matter. However, it was different now since we will be going to human civilization money was paramount.
I already saw some gold, silver, and copper coins in my inventory. I had 11.371, 5.827, and 9.603 of them respectively.
I also found some strange rocks that had mana inside of them, their surface was a smooth sapphire color and looked perfectly rounded as if the work of some machine, their color was beautiful with some silver here and there.
I had 2762 of those stones and 6731 ones smaller than them.
There were also some crystals that not only carried mana inside but strangely also Spirit and Vitality.
This vital energy was very strange to me, but the feeling it gave me was familiar. It was like when that bald bandit threw some dark blood on his weapon only for it to explode with terrifying Agility.
These crystals had a somewhat thin and long almond shape, with an almost transparent color like diamonds but some colors would pass through that smooth surface from time to time which was very magical and captivating!
Sometimes it was light red, dark red, dark blue, light blue, purple, white, and so on...
I only had one size of those crystals and 612 of them.
I had to ask Jia about what all of these were, I had a rough idea but this was not the place for unbiased assumptions.
The moment I opened my eyes to look for her, I was horrified!
In front of us were a pale middle-aged man with a rough mustache and short hair, wearing a grey robe sitting on a black and red fierce beast that strangely looked like a donkey!
What terrified me, even more, was the fact that both man and beast were able to get this close without me hearing nor sensing a goddamn thing.
I was only able to see them because I opened my eyes.
'Appraise appraise'
I was shocked!
Nothing!
My heart almost jumped out of my throat with the sheer intensity with which it was beating.
The man previously only glanced in my direction for a short while before putting all of his intention on Shams. However, when I got frightened by my inability to appraise him and knowing its implications he turned his eyes to me once again.
I did not know if I was feeling suffocated because I was scared or if it was simply a repercussion of him focusing his gaze on me.
I could tell that he had a puzzled expression on his face, because to everyone else he might seem just like a sickly-looking middle-aged man even though the fierce beast was just visually formidable.
Only, I knew and understood how terrifying both of these monsters were.
I was stumped, I wanted to look away from him, but I could not.
We kept staring intently at each other for a long while, though our expressions were incomparable like heaven and earth. I was going through intense dread, while he seemed both confused and amused.
"Oh, Hello. How are you sir?", A feminine and gentle voice spoke breaking that tense atmosphere and finally giving me a respite from the weight of that man's attention.
It was Meng Delan who stood and up, her voice also woke up the others from their naps and all of them stood up with vigilance in their eyes. Only she had a calm expression.
The man looked at her but did not speak, then his eyes locked into Shams who was equally clueless.
Only I knew what that gaze signified, Shams was a free demon beast!
