New Quest: In the depths of hell.
Description: Several young women are captured by a sick violent bandit group, using them however they want. The young women are slowly losing their minds and some have already. They dehumanized and reduced them to playthings every single day, and any shred of dignity they had for themselves has been lost. Their hearts are slowly getting tainted by hate, sorrow, and madness. It's only a matter of time before they reach the point of no return.
Goal: Kill the offenders!
Rewards: 250 Karma Points, 30.000 Experience Points, 10 Free Stats Points, and 4 Skill Points.

This was the quest I received after I was exploring the south. I was overjoyed when I first read it because I would see humans again. I just thought I'd go there, save them, and be done with it.
However, when I stood by that wooden fortress they built in the middle of the forest. I was chilled to the bone, that sight was still fresh on my mind. I felt my stomach turning and my blood ran cold!
I've never in my life seen something so inhumane, cruel, and sadistic. I had already guessed that humans would reach a new level of cruelty in this world due to how powerful they could get. In my previous world, only a bit of power could change people so completely. However, these people were different, their power is in the realms of the gods.
People without magic even though powerful in some aspects such as influence, money, politics, or whatever, are constantly reminded of their own fragility. But these people were just on a whole other level. Whenever I broke through a small realm or allocated a lot of Stats points at the same time I got this feeling of invincibility, which deeply affected my psyche. I couldn't imagine how badly those feelings would mess you up, making you feel like you're some sort of chosen or infallible one.
Thanks to my map function, I have the ability to see beyond walls. I just need to focus on the dot on the map and I would get a real-time projection in my mind of what's happening.
The things I saw... I'm still crying to this moment. Yes, I couldn't help it. We're psychological creatures, even though I killed a lot of monsters they didn't nearly affect me as much as seeing humans in those scenes.
The look on those young women's faces as they were being passed around among those brutish bandits, and the girl in the other room hurting herself made me sick.
I couldn't even get angry, it wasn't even in my top three emotions at that moment. I was just shocked and sad. Women do have it tough in this world in which the strong prey on the weak.
Women even if they had nothing they're valuable to men because of their bodies. So imagine being in a world in which there is a very clear strength difference between people and those who are stronger than you can do whatever they want with you. In this world, you had a treasure on you that everyone wanted, but you had no strength to protect said treasure. How fucking terrifying is that?

I was rushing back to the nest, I needed to bring the Mama bird with me. That guy was pretty damn strong, the leader is a Mid rank and he had three Low Foundation Establishment subordinates.

Looking at his Stats he's by far the strongest creature I've ever encountered, even stronger than the white bat. Ah no, the dragon-like monster is stronger than him. But it's not like I wanted to fight the dragon, however, this one I have to fight him.
I'm pretty strong myself, plus I hold the advantage. I'm in the shadows while he's in the light, I just have to play my cards right.
I quickly arrived at the nest, fortunately, the Mama bird was there.
*Screech!*
I kept hovering beside the nest while calling out to her, communication is really a big issue. However, if I succeed in this quest I'd be able to get my hands on the items in the shop.
At first, she didn't quite get what I wanted to say, but after repeating it a dozen times she followed.
So I returned this time with the Mama bird following behind me. It's also the first time that I've ever flown together with her, I've always kept to myself and didn't know how to interact with her.
This time I didn't get close as I did last time, because I don't trust the Mama bird's ability to hide her presence as much as I trust mine.
I couldn't risk it. The leader was too strong, plus he must-have items and weird skills. I needed to bait him somehow or kill every strong person there to have a one-against-one with him.
We hid at the top of a tree around 600 meters from their camp, this range was intentional of course. I kept watching them with my map.
We stayed in that position the whole night, until, at around dawn, five people got out from the gate that was positioned on the west side of the fortress.
Unfortunately for them, they were slowly moving north, in our direction.
The group that was coming was made up of two Low Foundation Establishment and several High to Mid Body Refinement.
I think they were just hunting for food, but they had to go out with a strong formation such as this. The Still Hollow Forest isn't a place that is known for how docile its monsters are.
I needed to be able to use my Predator's Warcry, so I flew back into the forest with the Mama bird, waiting for them around a mile from the camp.
Safety was a priority in the face of the unknown. What if the bandit leader could sense my attacks or hear the sound of the battle? I don't know, I had a higher Spirit than him but it was always good to be cautious.

We quickly found a great place to hide, looking directly into the path they'd be coming in from.
It didn't take them long to reach here, I was by now looking directly at them from above.
One of the Foundation Establishment was a bald burly man with a tattoo on the right side of his face, he wore simple clothing and some skin hides and he carried a huge saber on his back. The other one was a tall and large, pine-skinned man with a round chin and tapered eyebrows. He had frizzy, black hair, a tribal tattoo across his entire stomach, and a long goatee. He gave off a very sinister vibe, he was intimidating.
The others wore some sort of leather armor and carried bows or swords, other than that there was nothing remarkable about their appearance.
Looking at them I was apprehensive! Not because I was scared of their strength, but just because they intimidated me because they were simply humans.
It seems like I only gained a bit of confidence fighting monsters, but humans are different. I don't know what to expect really.
300 meters... 200 meters... 100 meters...
They were talking and laughing without a care in the world. Only the man with the goatee was paying attention to his surroundings.
Thankfully, the Mama bird's stealth skills were also good, otherwise, this would have been a bit complicated.
The moment they were directly below us I waited for a while for them to make some distance, then I made my move!
The place I chose before had no branches in the way, which guaranteed a perfect soundless flight.
I jumped from the branch and flew directly towards their back. Just as I was around 15 meters from them, the goatee man happened to turn around and saw me, otherwise with their spirit sense they wouldn't have sensed a thing.
I didn't give him any chance, every opponent I've encountered so far was dealt with using everything I have, I don't hold back especially now that I'm nervous.
*Screeeeeeeech!!*
I had a staggering 213 Spirit attributes, even their leader had only around 130. I used Predator's WarCry at maximum capacity, unleashing an earsplitting sound using a whole 200 of spiritual power crushing their spirits to smithereens.
Yet, I didn't stop, I even accelerated. Just as I launched my spiritual attack, I sent four wind blades to the goatee man's throat.
[WindBlade(Active): Creates a magical wind blade that has a range of 300 meters, Deals Intelligence(x3) in damage. Cost(10MP) |Perfection|]
I had around 187 Intelligence in total. I then rushed towards the bald guy, as for the others they were knocked out eyes open, and foam dripping from their mouths.
*BANGG!*
[You have Killed a Foundation Establishment(Low) Human |Experience Points +12000|]
The goatee man's head fell off, and I slammed into the bald guy pushing him a couple of meters forward. Just as he was still mid-air from the fall I sent another 4 wind blades his way.
*Whoosh* *Whoosh* *Whoosh* *Whoosh*
I only managed to land two due to how unpredictable his movement was, but they were plenty. One of them completely cut off his right arm from the elbow, and the other landed on his right side leaving a nasty wound through which blood was crazily gushing out. You could see his rib cage.
He stood up with difficulty and grabbed his saber.
He was badly injured, so I didn't rush in immediately. I was curious about how humans fight.
I thought he was getting ready to fight, but he threw up some dark blood on his saber, it started radiating a blinding light. Then!
*Swoosh*
The saber flew away at a crazy speed, thus bringing the other guy with him!
I could have killed him because for some reason he chose to flee in my direction, I could tell why the saber was running directly in the direction of the camp, and I was in the way. But I just activated Sky Dash and dove into his shadow without him noticing me.
[Shadow Dive]
Initially, I didn't want to use this move because it was too risky. What if the leader could sense me and gang up on me with the others, it seemed like a good opportunity now. The bald guy really looked like he used some crazy escape technique, so it'd make sense for him to not be suspicious of his survival.
Also, before I sunk into his shadow, I activated Dark Clone.
I still could never get used to this feeling! It's like being two people at once, I can think independently with both.
Why I left my clone here is to kill the rest of the bandits who are out cold.
The only issue here now is the Mama bird, there was no communication between us I directly left, so I have no idea of what she might do.
[You have Killed a Body Refinement(High) Human |Experience Points +4000|]
[You have Killed a Body Refinement(Mid) Human |Experience Points +2000|]
[Congratulations Host for Leveling up from 27 to 28. +5 Stat Points, +2 Skill Points.]

[You have Killed a Body Refinement(High) Human |Experience Points +4000|]

[You have Killed a Body Refinement(Mid) Human |Experience Points +2000|]
[You have Killed a Body Refinement(High) Human |Experience Points +4000|]
The clone is a game changer! I killed them very easily and I also had the time to signal the Mama bird to stay back.
*Screech!*
I returned to the branch in which we were hiding in earlier, she was still here because the fight ended way too quickly.
Seeing that she got the message and she was no longer restless I was at ease.
I looked in the direction of the fortress and I couldn't help but worry about my main body. Then, my body started to break down to the smallest dark elements slowly drifting away.

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan
