After cultivating the whole night with my Dao Field, I only slept for a couple of hours then woke up.

My body is getting stronger and bigger by the day. I like the strength part, however the size is not so much.

The bigger I am, the bigger of a target I become, plus it becomes difficult to hide between the branches and trees. I got used to them.

Opening my eyes, I noticed that the Mama bird hasn't left the nest, which is good. I wanted to go explore, it'd be better If I could do it in the morning. Not that there is a difference in terms of lighting and such. However, the night is darker and the monsters of this forest are mainly of the dark element, so it only makes sense that they grow stronger at night.

Hmm... I need to eat something before I go.

I stood up and began stretching my wings. I love spreading open my wings, I just feel so beautiful and majestic.

I started moving them up back and forth slowly towards Kali, almost throwing her off the nest. I like messing with her like this.

It's also worth mentioning that she's grown quite a bit, not to the level that she'd fly, but soon.

I only flew for about 3 seconds, until I slowed down considerably once again. I just got carried away after my cool landing, one day this would get me killed.

I glanced quickly at my Status Window, only to find that I had broken through. I didn't even notice it, until now. After I finished cultivating yesterday, I fell asleep. I was too tired to do anything else.

Well, good. It doesn't change much. Oh no! It does, my body is at a point now in which I can increase my Agility, Intelligence, and Spirit in cultivation. I completely forgot about that.

I feel like I'm focusing on the system too much. I have two options to grow stronger, and I absolutely need to make the best use of both of them.

I took a mental note of that, I also need to start training my skills. I can't keep relying on my skill points, I need to do both!

*Rustle*

I sensed the rustling of leaves, in a tree top that was in my direction. I could also sense a figure there, the shape was like that of a monkey with strength around Mid-High Body Refinement, I can't tell for sure. It's either very close to becoming a High or it just broke through.

*Whoosh*

I threw a wind blade at the branch cutting it in half, only for the figure that was hidden to fall.

I could finally see the monster.

It was definitely some monkey species. Dark gray in color with black facial features, strong-looking arms, and legs. The only remarkable characteristic is two short yellow wings behind its back.

The moment the branch was cut the winged monkey flapped its awkward-looking wings and flew away at a crazy speed!!

I was shocked! I definitely didn't expect those short wings to explode with such strength and agility.

I was curious so I appraised it...

It was indeed quick, but this speed is nothing for me.

Without even activating Sky Dash, I gained on it very quickly. The moment it passed by a tree, I created two Umbra Hands that held it back from running.

The monster was shocked, it didn't expect me to follow this quickly so the appearance of the Umbra Hands caught it by surprise.

However, it wasn't for long.

The monster kept flapping its wings, even though it was useless it only kept slamming itself against the bark of the tree.

I found it strange, but immediately afterward I started feeling light-headed. I involuntarily released my control over Umbra Hands and staggered back a few times.

Even with my now high spirit attribute and resistance, I still got affected. If it were me of yesterday I'd have definitely fainted, and what follows losing consciousness in the forest, is death.

Holy shit, It scared me! I hurriedly controlled myself, I hesitated. Should I follow it? It's heading west, and I originally wanted to go south.

I immediately chased after it at my full speed. This is the first time I used my full speed to chase something, in just a couple of seconds I saw it in the distance running for dear life.

If not for its smaller size, the thickness, and the multitude of these branches I'd have caught it already.

The moment there were only 150 meters between us, I used exactly the same strategy as before.

Because it was also going at full speed, it slammed hard against the tree. By the time It slammed against the tree, I was already in range to launch my wind blade.

It was a group of five. Right below me.

One Peak captain, three high, and one mid.

The moment I saw them, I had a brilliant idea. However, before that, I needed to make sure there was no one else around here.

I stretched my senses to the limit and kept looking around stealthily, but I found nothing.

The group seemed to be heading south, they were running but at a slow place.

I jumped down from the tree top, and I flew in their direction!

Thanks to my various passives, my flight was soundless, I was quick and I became even more agile when I got near them.

The Peak Monster was the first one to feel danger, it turned left and right but saw nothing.

Just as it wanted to turn and look in my direction I launched my Predator's WarCry for the first time.

The other 4 immediately fell to the ground, while the Peak only blanked for a second then it formed a giant shield in front of it.

*Bang!!*

I slammed against the shield with the full force of my flight, but this is what I wanted.

Instead of flying back, I put all the strength I have in my legs and jumped towards the Mandrill with my knife-like claws and flames all over my body.

The other four disintegrated due to the damage of around Intelligence x4 dealt by the dark element flames.

The Peak monster stopped my charge once again, but this time clearly very weakened compared to last time. He has already bore the full force of my strength plus Fiery Charge.

I jumped toward it again, this time it couldn't block me and I immediately pierced its chest with my claw.

Spirit is once again my highest attribute.

I have a 200% Spirit boost, I need to take full advantage of it.

After recovering, I will stay in this region and hunt Dark Mandrills.

They're very good targets, because of the sheer number of them.

I remember that their colony or whatever it's called is somewhere southwest of the nest.

So, I must be very close because of my previous encounter. I'm not planning to head to their home of course! I'm not courting death.

I will only stay in the peripheries and hunt groups such as this one.

I closed my eyes and started cultivating.
