I finished eating the body through sheer fucking will, only the thought of flying tomorrow is what kept me going. Otherwise, I'd have vomited all over the place.

I just ate too much, my stomach has visibly bulged.

Breathe in... breathe out...

I sat down and closed my eyes to cultivate, I don't have to keep actively cultivating. I just need to form that light membrane and it does the rest of the job, I take advantage of the free time to meditate.

This journey is a journey of two dimensions both physical and mental. I need to keep growing stronger while also learning from my mistakes and staying open to personal growth.

However, before that, I took some time to go through the shop.

There was only one word that kept ringing through my mind throughout the whole deal.

Too expensive!!

Some items need 500.000 Karma Points, others even more. How crazy is that?

My imagination was certainly limited by my poor worldview. I can only fight even harder.

If there is one consolation though, is the fact that I have a -90% discount for my very very first purchase.

Originally, I thought of gathering all of my Karma Points to get something crazy with my discount.

However, I was soon to be disappointed. After looking at a lot of Cultivation Manuals, I learned that breaking through normally is incomparable to breaking through using a precious Cultivation Manual.

The difference is really big that it can potentially affect how far I can reach in terms of cultivation.

So, with my newfound knowledge, my priority is to get a cultivation manual of my own.

Thanks to my 90% discount and more hard work, I'd be able to get a Divine cultivation manual.

Just from the word 'Divine' one can get a general idea of how invaluable this thing is.

After hours of sorting through hundreds, I finally found one that is extremely compatible with me.

The second I laid my eyes on it, I fell madly and deeply in love.

I was Majnoun when he first saw Leila, Rumi when he started talking with Shams, I was both Rose and Jack from the titanic.

I was love-struck!

This cultivation manual does not only completely transform one's body to reach the highest affinities with both Darkness and Wind elements, it also has a very fast cultivation speed, and intense mana compression that creates a very large mana pool compared with monsters of the same rank.

And most importantly, before breaking through to each large realm it mutates and strengthens one body part and gives one the appropriate skill to make use of the newly evolved body part.

There are better, faster, crazier cultivation manuals than this one, but it's the most compatible for me.

However, looking at the 10.000 Karma Points I became dejected, sigh...

Even with my first ever purchase discount I still need a staggering 1000 Karma Points.

Knowing full well that I just spent one hell of a nightmarish night for a measly 50 Karma Points, I couldn't help but sigh again...

But, I will do it! I have to do it actually, As long as I obtain it before breaking through to the Foundation Establishment everything will be worth it.

After cultivating for a couple of hours I felt my body becoming stronger, after checking my Status Window I found out that I gained +2 Vitality, +1 Strength, and +2 Stamina. I also found out I still had 5 undistributed Stats points from my quest rewards, so I put them all in Agility.

Looking up at the sky, I could tell that the sun was about to rise soon. The difference between day and night in this forest can only be known through the various shades of darkness. When It's completely pitch black it's night, when it's dark but with a lighter shade to it then it's morning.

This world is very strange indeed, but it's the trees. They are not normal trees, they're sky-high with thousands of branches connected in a maze-like pattern with large and thick leaves that block everything.

I can't wait to see what lies beyond these trees, everything I found in this world is strangely enchanting even the twisted and darkest parts of it. Everything has an otherworldly sense of beauty!

Whilst appreciating the beauty of the trees, I couldn't help but let go, then slowly but surely I started dozing off...

I woke up to the sound of what seemed like wings flapping, opening my eyes, and sure enough, Kali was flapping her wings energetically.

She seemed to have grown a bit, compared to yesterday.

I stood up and I immediately felt the changes in my body, it felt stronger, bulkier, and most importantly bigger!

My feathers have turned completely pitch black, a very huge contrast to the previous dark gray I had yesterday.

I again found myself in awe of the strangeness and mysticism of this world.

The changes were certainly so large that I'd need time to get used to them.

Spreading out my wings, I was over the moon!!

The feathers on my wings have become incomparable to yesterday. They are wider, longer, and sturdier, I could see the strength they hold.

If I could make a guess I would say that my height is around 1.5 meters tall. The length from the start of my tail feathers to the tip of my beak would be around 3 meters or so. Most importantly the width of my wings, from the end of my right-wing to the end of my left one is big! Around 5-6 meters give or take. A huge monster!

I started gently flapping my wings, and with every flap, I generated strong gusts of wind that pushed everything on its way. Even some medium Mandrill bones on the nest were affected.

Kali looked at me in awe, after all, we were born the same day but she still has a long way to go. Not a long way, but around a week or more should do it.

I hurriedly checked my Status Window.

Every single time I open my Status Window, I feel my heartbeat increasing due to the majesty this panel gives off.

It's so beautiful and intimidating. Dark all over with wisps of shadowy black smoke floating around it, the characters are in bold golden characters. Everything seems to be alive, when I lay my eyes on my Agility Stats I get a decent feeling of my speed, and the same thing happens with every single attribute.

The first change I noticed this morning was the fact that there was no longer the word (Juvenile) besides my species, which can only mean one thing I've finally taken my first step into adulthood.

More HP, Mana, Spiritual Power, and Resistances. Almost no Stats changes from yesterday, just what I've accumulated from leveling up and cultivating.

However, what got my attention was the fact that there was an extra (2) beside my [Skills]. I could make a guess but I rather not. I don't want to be disappointed.

I hurriedly opened my Skills Menu and I was pleasantly surprised! What I guessed was indeed correct.

The system did say that we have untapped skills hidden deep in our bloodlines, though to the special circumstances of my birth I happened to unlock several of my bloodline skills. Now once again I have unlocked two new skills! I hastily looked for them.

Beneath all of the golden columns displaying each skill in the dark shadowy panel, I found two new skills. Radiating with golden light, as if they're begging me to look at them!

[Predator's WarCry(Active): Grants the user the ability to use their Spiritual power through sound. Cost(50SP Max) |Beginner|]

[Dark Shield(Active): The user can quickly condense a shield made of Dark elements. The shield's durability depends on the amount of Mana spent creating it. |Beginner|]

Double Active Skills!

I have been dying to get my hands on a way to utilize my Spirit, it's finally here! I've seen this skill before, it was used by the Mama eagle several times to knock out those damn Mandrills.

However, there is something strange about the new skills. The cost of the Predator's WarCry is 50SP but there is more information Max. If I could guess then it'd mean that I'm able to use it with less Spiritual Power and the highest output I could unleash would be 50SP otherwise my head would explode or something.

The second skill, Dark Shield seems pretty intuitive. It also has no cost showing but it'd depend on the Mana used to form it. In other words, this skill can suck up all of the Mana I have in a single-use!!

This is very good news, it means that on the off chance I meet someone very strong I might be able to use my whole Mana pool to block a fatal strike.

Good, no this is great!

Now for the main dish that I've been looking forward to since the second, I was born in this world...

I started beating my wings, no flapping through awkward is better than beating. I started beating my wings off... yikes.

At first, I was still hesitant, after all, I don't have a very strong grasp on what my body is like.

But, after just flapping my wings a couple of times I started to slowly make some distance from the distance.

1 meter, 2 meters... *Thudd*

Shit, I hit one of the branches with my wings and I completely broke it off. But, it messed up my rhythm and I fell to the nest.

I won't be able to fly here.

I stood at the edge of the nest, looked down, and decisively dove down without opening my wings.

100 meters from the ground... 70 meters ... 40 meters ...

The moment I was around five meters from the ground I opened my majestic wing and the full speed with which I was falling was stopped.

I didn't do any more unnecessary movements, I just opened my wings. The width of my wings plus the strength of every single feather was shocking, to say the least.

I slowly closed my wings and let myself fall from a five meters height into the ground below.

*Thud*

My legs landed for the first time on the ground.

I felt proud! I made my first step into this beautiful strange world and the thought of the future didn't seem as bleak as it always has been. There was a passionate glint in my eyes, I closed my eyes, stretched my head up and I opened my wings fully. Reveling in the beauty of this life!

Looking around me the place is full of tree branches, shrubs, small trees, and insects. The area I landed on currently has a small space free of any big connected branches. The perfect place to get used to my body and practice flying.

Practice is a strong word here, I've already upgraded my [Sky Dash] to intermediate and in doing so I received information and memories that became directly a part of me about flying like an expert!

However, they were still theoretical at best, I need to put these old wings to work!

With my 26 base Strength plus +150% Stats boost, I put the full force on my legs and jumped while simultaneously opening my wings and gliding through the forest.

It's also worth mentioning that even though it's technically the morning, the forest is filled with darkness, and thanks to my [Bird Of Darkness] my flight was soundless and more nimble.
