With that last chapter, we bring book three of the Rise of the Last Star series to a close. Thank you for reading and supporting my work!

I’d like to start with what’s most important: an apology. I deeply apologize for taking this long to write the third book. With medical school’s start in February, my mental health declined at a dangerous pace. I have grappled with resistant depression and other conditions ever since my childhood, and they flare up from time to time. Unfortunately, this episode lasted for many months. I was forced to take time off college and am still trying to get back up on my feet, but I managed to finish this book for you, dear readers. Once more, I apologize for the tremendous delay in finishing this book. On a happier note, the fourth book should hopefully be finished in about two to three months now that I have more time on my hands.

I initially didn’t like this third book of mine too much. I felt that it was lacking in many ways as I wrote it and gradually grew to be very dissatisfied with the text overall. After my beta reader’s reassurance, however, I began to see it for what it was. In my opinion, as the author, it is not the finest piece of work, but it should still be enjoyable. I particularly like the sections regarding Arthur’s development; they’re much more down-to-earth and grounded compared to Liam’s godlike battles and siege. I revel in writing scenes with a deeper emphasis on the character’s psychology, its changes, and how these changes are perceived. Writing some good old-fashioned melee battles also helps.

I hope you all continue to read and enjoy my books as much as possible. As I’ve said before, feedback is very important as a new author, so feel free to hit me with the harshest of criticism.
