The Drakkhan army was unusually silent on the way back to Arimiar’s ship.
Even though Liam purposefully slowed down and flew alongside them, all he could hear were the sounds of the wind whooshing past their ears and against the sand on the ground. It was as if they were intentionally being as quiet as possible. He threw a few glances at his surroundings. Even though he was flying with the army, he was still at the very spearhead of the formation. All others were flying at least slightly behind him, none moving next to him. Liam knew that they were afraid. He could feel the anxious and wary vibe the army was giving off.
It wasn’t surprising in the least. Not only had they witnessed him delve into the heart of the enemy territory and come out alive, but also his growing battle prowess and frightening regeneration. They knew that they couldn’t do anything if he decided to kill them all. They knew that they couldn’t defeat him. Liam turned his gaze to the front once more, processing these thoughts slowly.
Soon, they arrived at the entrance to the ship. Liam was the first to land, stepping through the hole and coming face to face with the awaiting humans and Drakkhan. The humans widened their eyes as they gazed upon his naked body, making him smile bitterly. The Drakkhan didn’t care about his lack of clothing, as they belonged to different species. It would be the same as a human being feeling embarrassed over a cat or a bird’s naked figure. The humans, however, obviously cared about such things. A few of them ran off, returning less than thirty seconds later with clean, simple clothes.
“Thanks.”
With an awkward smile, Liam hurriedly got dressed. It was only then that he noticed that he was still the only one standing at the entrance. Confused, he turned back. The Drakkhan army was standing still as if they were statues, completely frozen in place. They stared straight ahead or at the ground, unwilling to meet Liam’s gaze. No, it was as if they intentionally avoided it. It was a sign of the things to come. The youth realized that they were waiting for him to be done and to enter as a sign of deference. No, it would be more accurate to call it a sign of fear.
‘This could be a problem.’
Liam was sure that stories about his feats at Cinzolia would spread like wildfire throughout the troops. It was only natural that they would eventually reach Varlian. Once the prince adjusted his perception of Liam’s strength accordingly, his treatment would change. It was possible that he would try to eliminate Liam if he deemed the youth to be growing too quickly.

‘I can’t survive against a Commander yet.’
If multiple beings on the same level as Arimiar were sent, there would be no way for him to avoid being defeated. While they might not be able to kill him, there were other ways of dealing with him. For instance, if he was thrown into an environment that constantly destroyed his body and kept it from regenerating fully, such as a fire with an extremely high temperature, there would be nothing he could do. Imprisonment was also another possibility, apart from attacking his soul directly. There were also more indirect ways to affect him; coercion, blackmail, and holding humanity or his loved ones hostage would all prove to be effective.
A chill went through Liam’s body as his thoughts reached this point, dread filling his heart. The realization that the Empire could use his loved ones against him as a way to control or cripple him hit him like a freight train. Cold sweat soaked his back. Forcefully pushing these thoughts to the back of his mind, Liam entered the ship fully and headed in the direction of his training room. It was only after he was more than a hundred meters away from the entrance that the troops started entering.
Liam absent-mindedly made his way through the hallways, before entering his training room and watching the door close behind him automatically. He sat down on the mat in front of the Ether pond. It was time to think about what he had done, what he had gained from the last battle, and what he would do from now on.
Still pondering on the ways the Drakkhan Empire could affect him, Liam realized the vulnerability of his position. Even though his power had grown massively all at once, humanity was still completely at the mercy of the Empire, and his recent growth wouldn’t change that. He needed to find a way to protect all of them.
Gritting his teeth, Liam forced himself to focus. He needed to consider what he could do at the moment. Thinking about his problems endlessly without creating a solution for them was pointless. He didn’t have a solution quite yet, but he could only create one once he grew even more powerful. Steeling his mind, he did the one thing he still needed to do.
‘Level up.’
[You have reached level 30! All your stats have increased by 10%. Your state of existence has risen. Skills will be acquired more easily.]

[You have reached level 30 with the maximum stats you could have achieved! The first Great Revolution has begun.]
‘Oh? It’s different this time.’
At level 10 and level 20, he had been given a Small Revolution. This time around, however, he was about to undergo a Great Revolution. Liam braced himself for the pain he would soon feel. Warmth enveloped his body in an embrace, making him furrow his brow. This was outside of his expectations. Wasn’t it supposed to hurt as his body developed? With a frown, he read the continuous stream of System notifications coming into view.
[…]
[You have fulfilled a hidden requirement!]
[Ethereal Body is being improved by the Great Revolution.]
Liam’s eyes slightly widened. Of course! The past two Small Revolutions had both improved his body’s form and shape, making it more adequate in general. He could only presume that the Great Revolution would have a similar but intensified effect. Yet, Ethereal Body was already a Skill that sought physical perfection and that had improved his body to its limits. It wasn’t very surprising that the Revolution would then affect the Skill, given that there was little room for bodily improvement due to its existence.
Once the warmth subsided, Liam hurriedly opened the Skill’s information window.

------------------------------------------------------------
The only new line was simple but still made Liam incredibly happy. How great would a drastic improvement to his strongest Passive Skill be? Not only that, but it improved all of the Skill’s effects, as well. It was worthy of being called the greatest upgrade. With a satisfied nod, Liam closed the information window before doing something he hadn’t done in quite a while.

Compared to his previous Status Window, it could be considered to be nonsensical. His stats had increased so much that Liam doubted if the window even belonged to him. Taking a deep breath, he started analyzing the changes slowly. Starting from the top, he immediately frowned.
‘Species and race are irrelevant?’
He also didn’t miss the change to his name. Putting two and two together, Liam guessed that the reason why his species and race were considered irrelevant was because of his status as the Last Star of Order itself. It didn’t matter which species or race he belonged to; he was a creation of the First Star, but also the Last Star of Order. Even if he were a worm or an animal, those wouldn’t change.
‘Would it be more accurate to say I’m the Last Star before I’m a creation?’
Still, he didn’t like this change. It was as if the System created by the voices had already thrown away his humanity, deeming it unworthy of belonging to it. That didn’t mean that Liam wanted to discard his humanity. In fact, the discovery of his true origins only intensified the desire to remain as a human for as long as possible. Clicking his tongue and slightly shaking his head, Liam moved on. He shouldn’t dwell on such simple changes for too long.
