CHAPTER 161: ORIGIN SIGIL Synergy
A hint of smile could be seen on Akor's face as he watched his fellow team members decide to join Jay's Faction.
He kneeled alongside them and cried out, "Long live Liege!!"
The next second, the rest of the Atlans loudly chorused along, "Long Live Liege!!!"
Jay didn't bat an eye and gazed past each of them before saying, "Consider it carefully. Joining my Faction is the same as picking the latter of the 'Two Choices'. Your lives won't be yours anymore."
The Atlans didn't move one bit from their positions and once again shouted 'Long Live Liege' as those sounds reverberated in that room.
They believed in the decision made by their Sea Lord, Aton.
Learning of the harsh reality they have to face after the Trial Program made them realise the imminent need for power.
The kind of power Akor received from Jay, which outright brought their Trial Zone Team to rank second in Round-2.
Jay was able to see through their thoughts. As long as they were sincere, he didn't care about their motivations to join his Faction.
Following that, Jay tapped Aton's forehead, and a silver-coloured number '1' emerged on his glabella.
The number '1' represented his position as the 1st Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGIL holder.
Yes, Jay didn't grant Aton a Minor ORIGIN SIGIL like how he did with Akor. After all, there were just 100 of them, among which 12 were already in use.
As for the Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGILS, there were as many as 1000 of them. Sparing a few of them was within moderation.
Since Aton already possessed a Grade-8 Innate Talent, the 'Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGIL-1' didn't bring any improvement to the Grade of his Innate Talent.
Aside from that, he received Looted Stats equaling 10% of Jay's overall stats.

Meanwhile, a series of notifications flowed in front of Jay's vision, and the last few surprised him.
[100 Undistributed Looted stats were expended to engrave a Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGIL.]
[99 Undistributed Looted stats were automatically assigned to the 'Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGIL-1' holder.]
[You have gained absolute control over Grade-8 .]
[Two similar Innate Talents are detected. Creating synergy between them to amplify their grades.]
[The Innate Talent of 'Minor ORIGIN SIGIL-XII' Holder is amplified from Grade-9 to Grade-9.1]
[The Innate Talent of 'Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGIL-1' Holder is amplified from Grade-8 to Grade-8.1]
It was the first time Jay had come across such a thing. After all, there weren't any ORIGIN SIGIL holders with similar Innate Talents before then.
Jay then mentally communicated with MJ to learn about the new revelation in Innate Talent Grades.
'Master, there wasn't any System record of Innate Talent Grades being in decimals. This must either be the very first occurrence of such a thing, or my Grade-4 System clearance was just not enough to access information on it.'
Jay inclined towards the latter of the two possibilities MJ had pointed out. Because if it really were the first time for such a thing to happen, Universe-Level Achievement notifications would have popped up with a barrage of congratulations.
To see if the decimal improvement in Grade had brought any actual improvement in effectiveness, Jay sent his consciousness into his Spirit Space.
In there, Akor's Innate Talent didn't shift from the usual revolution path of the 9th outermost circular orbit.
Instead, Akor's Innate Talent expanded more than its usual size.
Due to the absolute control over that Innate Talent, Jay was able to sense the initial 9-fold comprehension of Water Element had improved to 9.1 times.
It was a similar case with Aton's Innate Talent. His initial 8-fold comprehension of Water Element had improved to 8.1 times.

Jay then exited his Spirit Space and approached the female Atlan, Ah'na, to test out something.
He made her a Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGIL holder and waited for another set of notifications to pour in.
[Three similar Innate Talents are detected. Creating synergy between them to amplify their grades.]
[The Innate Talent of 'Minor ORIGIN SIGIL-XII' Holder is amplified from Grade-9.1 to Grade-9.2]
[The Innate Talent of 'Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGIL-1' Holder is amplified from Grade-8.1 to Grade-8.2]
[The Innate Talent of 'Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGIL-2' Holder is amplified from Grade-7 to Grade-8.2]
Going through those notifications made a few things clear to Jay.
The first was that an ORIGIN SIGIL holder's actual Innate Talent Grade doesn't matter in determining the Grade amplification.
Another point was that the type of ORIGIN SIGIL didn't matter, whether it be the Minor or Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGILS.
The only factor to be considered was the number of ORIGIN SIGILS holders with similar Innate Talents.
When two ORIGIN SIGIL holders' Innate Talents were synergised, then their Grades would be amplified by 0.1.
The same decimal amount would be amplified whenever another ORIGIN SIGIL holder with a similar type of Innate Talent appears.
The addition of another Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGIL holder with a similar Innate Talent had once again amplified their Grades.
Following that, Jay proceeded to grant Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGILS to the rest of the Atlans.
Once Jay was done with it, he opened the ORIGIN SIGIL section in his .

Aside from Akor, the rest of the Atlans' Innate Talents were amplified to Grade-8.7.
As for Akor, his Innate Talent was amplified to Grade-9.7, nearing the comprehension efficiency of an Omega Chosen.
But according to the new information displayed at the bottom of the ORIGIN SIGIL section, there could at most be 10 ORIGIN SIGIL holders with similar Innate Talents.
That would indirectly mean the maximum Grade Amplification a Rudimentary ORIGIN SIGIL holder could receive was 8.9, just a little short of becoming a Grade-9 Innate Talent.
Whereas for a Minor ORIGIN SIGIL holder, it would be 9.9, just shy of reaching a Grade-10 Innate Talent.
Jay didn't know what would happen if he granted a Major ORIGIN SIGIL to a Water Innate Talent user, but he didn't wish to find it out for the time being due to obvious reasons.
Other than the fact that Jay had just 10 Major ORIGIN SIGILS, out of which he already used 3 of them, Jay didn't wish to risk shortening the Trial Program period even more by another one into an Omega Chosen.
