CHAPTER 141. Exchange Market.
A while ago, when Felariel used his Information-type Skill, a set of notifications appeared in Jay's view.
[You are being scrutinised by a Grade-7 Skill that broke through your Grade-5 Skill to look at your .]
[ detected an intrusion and blocked every information related to itself from the intruder.]
Following those notifications, Jay received MJ's mental emulation on the extent of information that would be visible to Felarial.
Finding that most of the information in his was hidden from others, Jay was relieved.
But still, Jay was a little pissed when Felarial pried at his .
Jay right away knew that it was Felarail. After all, who else could have a Grade-7 Skill from just 10 days into the Trial Program.
Although Felarial regressed to Tier-4, his Soul was still that of a Tier-7 life form. Because of that, Jay couldn't see through his thoughts with his current Stage-3 .
Still, from the initial confusion on Felarial's face, Jay was able to see that the other party's prying act was not to offend him but to find how strong he was.
Jay still walked away in between the conversation despite being aware of that. Not because he was too aggrieved by Felariel's actions but because he didn't intend to take up the offer and join the Red Elven Empire or any Hegemony for that matter.
Soon after Jay left, the rest of the Earth's Alpha Chosen caught up to him. They took note of the irritation Jay displayed at the end of their conversation with Felarial.
So, none of them said anything and quietly followed behind him and moved towards the Colosseum's east exit.
They wanted to ask what happened back there but didn't voice it out, fearing that Jay was not in a good mood at that moment.
Henry, Kasim and a few others signalled Dante with their eyes to talk with Jay since he was the most familiar with Jay out of them all.
Dante gave into others' signals and stepped closer to Jay.
However, all that didn't go unnoticed from Jay, who could read their thoughts.
Before Dante could say anything, Jay said without turning his head, "We will talk about this after we are at our assigned Rest House."
Once they exited the East entrance, what welcomed them was bustling streets that weaved deep into the floating island.

There were numerous groups of Alpha Chosen walking up and down the streets.
In the Trial Region Tournament section of their respective , it was shown that the 'Rest House 001' was assigned for Earth's trial zone team.
Before long, the 11 Earth's Alpha Chosen found their way to their allotted Rest House, a four-storey building, with each storey as large as a basketball court.
Despite the lack of any over the top luxuries there, a soothing sensation hit them all upon entering that building, relaxing their bodies by just staying within the Rest House.
Jay then called out to Baby MJ, "Brief them on the information pertaining to the Exchange Market."
"Yes, Master."
Baby MJ then began to explain in great detail as the others listened attentively.
Meanwhile, Jay ignored them and opened the Exchange Market section in his .
A separate notification window popped up, which had several tabs on
____________
[Exchange Market]
Spirit Item Categories:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
Search Bar.....(Input the search requirements to narrow down the search results.)
____________
The Exchange Market, in short, wasn't a shop where one could buy any stuff. Instead, as the name suggests, it was just a means that allows the Alpha Chosen in a Trial Region to register any Spirit Item and exchange it with something equally valuable or using Spirit Crystals.
However, it was only available during the Tournament period.
Jay didn't go through anything else before selecting the 'Spiritual Fruits' category and searched for an Arch Spirit Fruit.
Not finding it didn't disappoint Jay since he already knew the chances of someone registering a Grade-4 Spirit Fruit in the Exchange Market were pretty low.
It was expected since it was just 10 days into the Trial Program, and even if someone were lucky enough to come across a Grade-4 Spirit Fruit, getting their hands on it would be an entirely different matter with a powerful monster guarding it.
Besides that, if someone was lucky enough to obtain it, who in the right mind would be willing to trade such a life-saving treasure.
Still, Jay didn't give up on the possibility, despite the minimal chance of success.
Be that as it may, Jay didn't solely rely on finding it in the Exchange Market. As a matter of fact, he was 99% sure Felarial has an Arch Spirit Fruit in their possession.

For a Prince of a SuperCluster Level Hegemony, a Grade-4 Spirit Fruit was a relatively common commodity.
It wouldn't be surprising even if someone of such high status casually eats them to satiate hunger.
For two reasons, Jay didn't outright ask Felarial what he wanted.
Firstly, Jay didn't want to appear desperate. Because if he were to do that, Felarial could take advantage of that to strike a deal or contract to work for his Empire.
Despite Felarial's friendly appearance and warm words, Jay didn't trust him one bit. It was not that Jay believed Felarial to be plotting against them but his lack of trust for others.
That even includes the Earth's Alpha Chosen. Jay didn't completely trust any of them. The only reason he kept them next to him was that they couldn't kill him even if they went all out on him.
Moreover, Jay could see through their thoughts and thwart their ploys before they could even make a move on him.
Since Jay couldn't see through Felarial's thoughts and wasn't sure if all he said was true, he didn't believe Felarial's proposal offer.
Secondly, after learning that Felarial could use a Grade-7 Skill, Jay wasn't sure if he could win a fight against Felarial on the off chance the other party decided not to hand him the one thing he desperately needed. Otherwise, Jay would have intimidated Felarial back then.
Although Jay didn't keenly believe it would escalate to such a situation over a Grade-4 Spirit Fruit, he placed it as an option in the back of his head.
If that were to happen, Jay wouldn't mind using his last use of mode against Felarial.
After not finding what he wanted in the 'Spiritual Fruits' category, Jay visited the remaining five categories to see if there was anything that could catch his eyes in there.
When entering the search specifications, he excluded Common and Uncommon grade ones to avoid going through a load of information tabs.
That narrowed down to just a little more than 50 Spirit Items, including all six categories in it.
The Rare grade Spirit Weapons, Spirit Armours, and Spirit Accessories combined didn't exceed more than 20.
The remaining were all from 'Spirit Objects' and 'Spirit Devices'.
Spirit Items like 'Monster Camouflage Grail' come under the former category. Whereas the latter were technologically advanced devices that were created using Spirit Energy Engineering.
After going through them all, the only thing that caught Jay's attention was a particular Spirit Device.
_______________
(Rare Grade)
A stationary teleportation device that could create a short-range space gateway with another device of its kind.
(Uses Spirit Crystals as a power source.)
(Detailed Information on this Spirit Device and its Installation Guide will be provided only to those who complete the Exchange trade.)
Exchange Condition: 1 Grade-3 Vitality Fruit.
_______________
Jay didn't expect to find a teleportation device so early in the Trial Program. Since the System doesn't give out Spirit Devices among the rewards, it only meant that someone created it.
When Jay asked MJ if he could create teleportation devices a few days back, he learned that even MJ, who was proficient at Stage-4 Spirit Energy Engineering, couldn't make that.
That alone showed the difficulty behind creating such a Spirit device. But looking at the 'Space Platform's information tab in front of him, it was clear as a day to Jay that an Alpha Chosen from their Trial Region made it and registered it in the Exchange Market.
Jay didn't wait any longer than a second before taking out a Grade-3 Vitality Fruit from his ring's storage space to use in the Exchange.
But just as he was about to complete his transaction, the information tab of disappeared, meaning that someone else brought it before him.
With it slipping right past his grasp, Jay couldn't help but click his tongue in frustration.
Since he knew how significant the role of teleportation devices could play in the later stages of the Trial Program, Jay didn't give up on it.
Jay guessed it would mostly mean one of two things based on the Exchange Condition set for the .
Either that unknown Alpha Chosen had many more of those teleportation devices to spare, or the situation was quite the opposite, and the other party was in desperate need of Grade-3 Vitality Fruits.
Jay inclined towards the second scenario, considering the effort and materials needed to create a teleportation device.
He then called for Baby MJ, who just finished briefing the Earth's Alpha Chosen, "MJ, use your Tier-4 System Access to find who registered that teleportation device."
"Yes, Master."
This time, Jay's goal was not just the but also the one who created it.

Long Island
Long Island was not the first virtual reality game or to say a VRMMORPG. Not the one which changed the world and became a legend. No, it was made when there were lots (quite a few) of virtual reality games already on the market. Each game had its own unique AI feature, its own unique adventure, promising everyone a chance to become King, if not a God. In such a time Long Island was made. Just a little different, just a little unique. A normal guy was starting his own adventure, in life and in game.Note - Adding a cover made by someone I connected through wattpad: @DameCarnelian. Just a warning, it is not an accurate representation. The ship is not Raka's ship so avoid any confusion in that regard.
