CHAPTER 139. The 3rd Prince’s Past. (Part-3)
As long as his Innate Talent Mastery level and Fortune Stats were high enough, coming across a fortuitous encounter that could help him wouldn't be too far.
So, the 3rd Prince cooped himself up in his mansion and incessantly trained his for several years.
Due to the that also consisted of the knowledge and insights of his new Innate talent's previous owner, his comprehension over the Law of Fortune substantially improved.
Within 15 years of his seclusion, he managed to bring his from Stage-4 to Stage-7, which was no ordinary feat since improving a Unique Category Innate Talent was most complex among the 5 Innate Talent Categories.
{Reminder Note: Elemental Category, Weapon Category, Martial Category, Variant Category, Unique Category.}
Having reached Stage-7, his proficiency over the Law of Fortune reached quite a high standard.
With that, the 3rd Prince sneaked his way out of the Empire Capital and hunted numerous monsters of Tier-4 Low-Phase and below to absorb their Luck stats to improve his Fortune stats.
Hunting monsters didn't help him improve his Level since the Life energy he absorbed from them stacked up in his Status Window.
The only way to access the stacked Life Energy was to repair his Spirit Pool, and due to that, he was stuck at Tier-4 Low-Phase without any improvement.
Once the Fortune stats reached 1000 after a year of accumulation, the 3rd Prince began to roam around the Virgo SuperCluster and the nearby SuperClusters, searching for the fortuitous encounter that could help him.
Using his 3rd exclusive innate skill, , he finally tracked one such medicinal treasure in a forbidden zone.
Next to the hidden secret realms, the forbidden zones were the deadliest locations with natural phenomenons that ensure the lowest habitable survival conditions in the whole Universe.
There were around 100,000 of them in the entire Universe, and each one of those forbidden zones has various elements concentrated to an abnormal degree, making it hard to survive in there.
Those at the end of their potential who couldn't improve their Innate Talent masteries would enter the forbidden zones in the hopes of reaching higher tiers.
Among them, only a rare few would be lucky enough to survive and manage to reach their goal there.
In the 3rd Prince's case, venturing into a forbidden zone wasn't so dangerous since his Innate Talent showed him the possible ways, but the pinch to it was the long duration needed for him to get his hands safely on that medicinal treasure.

To pass through all those obstacles in there while being just at Tier-4 Low-Phase, it would take the 3rd Prince tens if not a hundred years.
After all, he had to wait patiently to move within the forbidden zone in the path that would be the least dangerous.
According to the instructions provided by , the 3rd Prince entered that forbidden zone and cautiously proceeded onwards for a month before his 7th innate exclusive skill, unexpectedly activated by itself.
He received it upon reaching Stage-7 in but wasn't able to use it ever since, at least until then.
The 3rd Prince knew that he needed to reach Stage-8 mastery level to use it voluntarily, but until then, he could only wait for the exclusive skill to activate by itself.
When activated, he began to have a vague mental vision where thousands of lifeforms from various races were battling a horde of monsters with their lives on the line.
There were casualties on both sides, but that didn't bother the aggressive monsters in their mad assault.
As long as that battle continued further, it appeared as if the monsters would come out as victors, but that took a turnabout when a burst of massive energy emerged from the centre of the battlefield and engulfed a sector of the land they were battling and obliterated everything along with several monsters on it.
Once the dust settled in, the scene in his vision zoomed onto a spot on the battlefield.
Unlike the previous vague view, where he couldn't find anything informative about the battle, the 3rd Prince was able to take a good look at someone who was lying on the battleground with their right arm and a one-third chunk of their chest and stomach missing from their body.
That gave the 3rd Prince quite a scare because the one who seemed to be at their death door in that mental vision was none other than himself.
Believing that was his future, he tried to find any details he could pick up to identify the time and location of that battlefield in order to prevent that from happening but to no avail.
Once that mental vision ended, the 3rd Prince received instructions through the strange connection with his heart, nudging him to become a Tournament Manager for the next Galactic Cluster that begins their Trial Program.

Although he didn't comprehend why doing that would help prevent his death, the 3rd Prince still did as he was asked without any hesitation.
He made his way back out of the forbidden zone he was in, and after a few months of travel, he returned to the Red Elven Empire.
Not long after, a new one named Zephyr Galactic Cluster had started to undergo the Trial Program, and their high Live Performance score stirred quite a sensation in the Entire Universe.
Incredibly, one of the Galaxies in that cluster, the Milky Way Galaxy, was estimated to have an Omega Chosen in it.
To the 3rd Prince's surprise, he was allotted as one of the Tournament Managers assigned for the Milky way Galaxy.
He believed that the Trial Region he was assigned would mostly have the Milky Way Galaxy's Omega Chosen and the reason why his Unique Innate Talent pointed him in that direction was to acquaint himself with someone who has the potential to reach Tier-10.
Although the 3rd Prince once had high hopes of reaching Tier-10, that slimmed down after finding that the he obtained through the Inheritance was no longer helpful in advancing to higher Mastery stages, and he had to depend on himself for that.
He was not sure when or even if he would reach Tier-10 in the first place. After all, there hasn't ever been a record of someone with Unique Innate Talent reaching Tier-10.
That led him to believe that as long as he assisted an Omega Chosen in their growth to Tier-10, they would one-day return favour in the form of helping him reunite with his wife and child.
When the 3rd Prince overheard that the leading one in Batch-8 was an Omega Chosen, he measured Olivia's Fortune using the 'Fortune Path' technique that he learned through and was overwhelmed by what he saw.
He had used that technique several times before but never seen as dazzling a Fortune Path that Olivia was destined to.
In his vision, he could perceive an illusionary golden staircase with ten doorways in front of Olivia, where each doorway represents the Tier she could reach in Future.
It was apparent to him that as long as there weren't any twists of Fate, she could reach Tier-10 without a hitch.
With those thoughts in mind, the 3rd Prince approached Olivia at the end of Round-1.
He then congratulated her along with the rest of the Earth's Alpha Chosen, "Saying that you all did well in Round-1 would be an understatement. It's less likely that any other Trial Zone team in your Galaxy could score as much as you all did. With your current capabilities, I could safely point out that winning this tournament wouldn't be an obstacle for you lot."
Even though he put on casual airs while saying that, in actuality, he was still a bit dizzy from finding their overall score to be three times that of the following leading Trial Zone team.
By logic, having a score of 87,370 Points would mean almost everyone in Earth's Trial Zone should be at least at Tier-3 Mid-Phase and have enough strength to hold their ground against a Tier-3 High-Phase monster.
The 3rd Prince could peer into their Levels with the identification-type skill in his possession but chose not to since the receiving end would find it offensive.
However, he used the technique which lets him peek at their Fortune as that couldn't be sensed by anyone else.
The 3rd Prince did that when he was flying towards them. Beginning with Olivia, he looked at almost everyones' potential through their Fortune Paths one by one.
Even the lowest result among them had an eight doorway staircase Fortune Path, indicating the high possibility of reaching Tier-8 in the future.
Their results astonished him without failure, but the one that debuffled him was Dante's Fortune path, as there wasn't a fixed one for him but an ever-changing Fortune Path.
That made the 3rd Prince connect Dante to be a 'Holy Son of Fate' who could only be seen once in a few Megaannums.
{A/N: 1 Megaannum = 1 Million years.}
That revelation shocked him so much that he forgot to peek at the Fortune Path of the last remaining one among the Earth's Alpha Chosen, Jay.

Embrace the Blade
Born crippled, it was no surprise when James Ransom died young, but he was offered an opportunity - a mission: to go to a new world and become strong enough to kill the hidden boss behind the final boss. Now in a new world he must research and study the system to take advantage of it, find his strengths; form alliances and find party members to become strong enough to face the end. This story does use Multiple perspectives and tells stories that add to the MC's. I've been given this feedback enough that I feel the need to mention that growth (levels, skills, classes, etc.) is slow, intentionally so, but constant. Credit for the cover goes to a commission for KemptBones from DeviantArt for the cover. This book is a rewrite of the original Embrace the Blade. The timeline for this one is completely separate and you do not need to read the original to understand what is going on. If you want to check out the original you can find it here (just a warning that they are NOT good): ETB Drafts 1&2 If you came here from the original EtB, WELCOME!!

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.

From the Ashes
Kadin Banto is a member of the Aspire guild, the best guild in the kingdom of Kahlona. His current contract starts out as a simple missing child case but quickly escalates in to a in depth plot to bring back the demon lords of old, and a Necromancers desire to cover all the lands in flame. This story follows Kadin as he moves forwards to fulfil his contract and eliminate the Necromancer. A battle against time to stop the Necromancer from reaching the plains of ash and opening a portal to bring back the demon lords and the horde is a secondary objective - the Aspire guild will always complete the contract and Kadin will not be the exception. This is the first chapter of my book, I am interested in feedback and thoughts I have complete the first 10 chapters and am still working to complete this - if it is liked and enjoyed I will post the chapters as I finish them. The world itself is a High Fantasy world with all sort of magical creatures, including Elfs, Orcs, Vampires, Demons, giant spiders, enchanted weapons, magical runes, and wizardry - almost every one in this world can use magic - but only a few specialise in it.
