CHAPTER 123: Partnership Proposal.

The call connected through and his father's excited voice entered his ears, "Son, come to headquarters, ASAP. An important board meeting is going to be held shortly. This is going to be fate changing for our Enterprise."

Jay knew exactly what his father was talking about, but he played along. "What's happening, Dad? What are you talking about?"

Jay's father frustratedly uttered, "Ah! If only they had told me beforehand, I would have been prepared. But no, they had to surprise me…..It must be that little girl's idea or else Kay wouldn't have gone with it. Hmph, once this is over, I will give her a proper scolding."

He then continued in a hurry before disconnecting the call, "Listen, Son, I don't have time to explain everything. You will understand everything once you reach here."

Jay could already guess what happened after hearing his father's words. It seemed that Qew and Kay didn't reveal the matter of Olivia's arrival and about FUTURE Incorporation's intention to propose partnership.

Knowing Qew's mischievousness, Jay could tell that it was her idea to surprise both their Father and Uncle.

Because of that, they only got to know about it recently, leaving them with little time to prepare.

Soon, Jay morphed the set of a tank-top and track pants he was wearing back into the golden-black suit, except this time, he didn't add an overcoat like how he was recently usually does in the Trial World.

Following that, Jay walked out of the house and the S.E.E.D technology model car wheeled itself out of the house garage, and by the time he crossed the lawn, the now camouflaged car halted on the road, right by the road with one of its door open for Jay to get in.

It would take at least an hour to reach the Nav Yuga Headquarters because of his house being at the far end of that city.

But, thanks to MJ tweaking the traffic signals to Jay's convenience, it took half an hour to reach there.

MJ didn't go overboard and manipulated the traffic signals in a way so that there weren't any occurrences that would lead to traffic accidents

Before long, Jay reached the conference room, where the Nav-Yuga's top brass were excitedly going through the details on the proposal Olivia offered.

Everyone's attention turned towards Jay as soon as he entered the room.

Ankith was the first one to respond as he introduced Jay to Olivia. "Miss Olivia, this is my eldest son, Jay. He looks after this enterprise's security. I happened to learn about your arrival at the last moment, making it harder for him to reach here as Jay was far from here by the time he learned about this meeting."

Following that, Jay greeted Olivia under the pretense that it was their first time meeting, "Miss Olivia, it's nice to meet you."

Jay did that to avoid giving his father an explanation about how he knew Olivia beforehand if he casually had struck up a conversation with her.

For that, he had to reveal about the trial world and the system. Jay intended to keep this matter a secret from his father, at least until after the first tournament.

Meanwhile, the executives were looking strangely at Jay. They were a little accustomed to his cold and distant attitude to anyone other than his family over the past few days, but they didn't expect Jay to greet Olivia with the same attitude.

When those executives first met Olivia, they fawned over her, praising her non-stop, after all she is the 5th richest person in the world.

They were worried that Jay's expressionless greeting might displease Olivia, but to their disbelief, Olivia greeted back in response, "Likewise, Mr Jay. Please join the meeting."

The executives didn't see that coming because Olivia simply returned their greetings with a casual nod and didn't pay much attention to them.

But it was entirely different when she responded to Jay's greeting. It was not what she said, but how she said it. A few keenful ones doubted their eyes that sensed respect and….slight fear in her words?

If they hadn't known who Olivia was, they might have assumed her to be Jay's subordinate.

Jay's father and uncle didn't notice it as they got back to going through the conditions in the proposal documents after introducing Jay.

After that, Jay nodded back at her and took a seat beside Kay, and quietly listened to the ongoing meeting.

It continued for two hours and Kay was the one who was most active, as he did most of the work in creating the documents that made up the details of the partnership proposal.

According to that proposal, the Nav-Yuga Enterprise will be the representative of F.U.T.U.R.E Conglomerate in India to sell the new technology products they are going to introduce soon.

It's an offer that not any other company would be willing to refuse, much less the Nav-Yuga Enterprise that was slowly rising back to their feet.

A part of that deal was that the F.U.T.U.R.E Conglomerate will in return help Nav-Yuga Enterprise in up-scaling their enterprises to other countries and expand their business horizon.

So, when they learned about the partnership proposal, the top brass of the Nav-Yuga Enterprise were excited beyond measure at the golden opportunity and accepted it right away.

The whole meeting was about the terms of the proposal and other necessary logistics needed for the partnership between their companies to be made official.

At the end of the meeting, Jay's uncle, Umesh asked, "Miss Olivia, If you don't mind me asking, what are the products we would be selling? It's to make some preparations beforehand to smoothen the marketing process."

Hearing Umesh's query, everyone in the boardroom except for Jay and Kay leaned forward in interest to know what those products are.

From the beginning of that meeting, Olivia mentioned nothing about what products they would be distributing.

As for Jay and Kay, they weren't as interested as the others since they long ago knew about the S.E.E.D technology products that MJ's army of quantum A.I's worked restlessly in the past few days mass producing them.

Olivia gently got up from her seat and replied, "It's everything, Mr Umesh. Every gadget that runs on any energy source like electricity, solar power, etc. Except each of them will be an upgraded version of themselves with a highly advanced technology that's a few decades earlier than the present age."

After a momentary pause, Olivia continued and this time her tone is that of a charismatic leader and entrepreneur, "Soon, this will become the most revolutionary technology development in the history of mankind."

Almost everyone in the boardroom was in a daze from Olivia's words that were filled with unprecedented confidence.

"Now that everything is sorted out, let's end the meeting. Shall we? I will be staying in India a few more days, so we could make the public announcement of our partnership the day after tomorrow." Olivia broke the silence.

Jay's father woke from his daze and laughed embarrassedly for his earlier disposition and responded while standing up from his seat, "Of course...Of course, let's do that and thank you for all the hard work you put in."

He then proceeded to see Olivia and Sergei out. Right then, Jay stepped in and suggested, "Father, Miss Olivia had travelled a long way from here to meet us. We should at least see to it that she enjoys the best of Indian Food. Why not have Kay accompany them to the best restaurant and show courtesy to our guests?"

Jay's intention behind his suggestion was to have his brother spend more time with Olivia. After all, if he doesn't even do that, how could he be a 'Matchmaker Brother'.

Olivia was oblivious to Jay's plan since she couldn't read his thoughts or that of Kay's. Olivia might have been the world's richest young entrepreneur, but in the matters of Love and dating, she was quite poor.

Kay, on the other hand, understood what his brother was trying to pull off and subconsciously blushed, but hid it well on the outside.

However, under Sergei's keen gaze, that didn't go unescaped and smiled to himself. He turned a blind eye to it as if he didn't notice it in the first place.

Ankith agreed with Jay but added something more that Jay didn't expect, "That's right, we should do our duty as a host. You too join Kay and take them to the best restaurant and make sure to show her the nearby tourist attractions during her stay here."

Jay's lips twitched at his father's decision. He could tell that his father wanted to accompany them so that if they were to encounter any trouble on the way, Jay could take care of it.

But who the hell in their right minds would pick up trouble with Olivia, who could control anyone's minds at her will.

Jay reluctantly complied and followed them to the nearby famous restaurant.

By the time they reached there, Qew was standing near the restaurant entrance, waving at them as they were leaving the car.

Alongside Qew were MJ in chubby baby form, Dante and her personal bodyguard, Esha.

Without even having to read their minds, Jay could guess that Qew must have learned about going to a restaurant from MJ and wanted to surprise them there.

Watching his Sister playing the role of a 'Prosecutor' all too well in their sibling pact, Jay could only suppress his urge to facepalm himself.
