CHAPTER 112. Siblings’ Pact.
***Qew's POV***
After freshening up and changing to formal attire, both Kay and I were on our way to the Airport.
After all, we can't go there with how we looked after an hour of training and sparring.
Since we had to receive and bring those Delegates to the guest house at our Family Villa, we travelled there in two cars.
The same advanced S.E.E.D model cars that my elder brother gifted to Kay and me. Moro and Kay travelled in one car while Sister Esha and I travelled in another one.
If it were a normal car, Sister Esha wouldn't have let me drive at all because I haven't driven a car before, but since this car could be driven simply by placing my hand over the neural link panel by my seat that could let me control how the vehicle moves with just my thoughts, she allowed me to drive.
Even though this car has the function of self-driving by simply giving out a voice command of the destination location, I still drove the car by myself as I found the aspect of driving a car with thoughts to be exciting.
Before long, we reached the Airport, and MJ informed us that the Scottish company delegates would be arriving at the private plane landing strip in the next 5 minutes.
By the time we got there, we could already see a Private Jet landing on the runway strip. Kay and I were taken aback because it wasn't a Chartered Airplane that could be rented, but it was actually a privately owned jet.
Since I was quite interested in aeroplanes from my childhood, I used to read many magazines about various kinds of Airplanes. So, with a single look, I could tell the Private Jet in front of us was a World-class one.
We didn't know that the unknown Scottish company my elder brother mentioned was such a big one that it has a world-class private jet that costs more than 250 million dollars.
Soon, we approached the private jet as its hatch opened before a row of steps paved a way, connecting its entrance to the runway ground.
From within, a brunette haired woman in a light golden power suit stepped out, followed by a Russian man in a black suit and shades, who was as tall as Moro.
As soon as I saw her, I recognised her right away and to confirm something; I asked MJ by voicing it out into the second wristband prototype on my left wrist.

"MJ, is she the same Olivia who is one of the Earth's Alpha Chosen?"
"Yes, Miss Qew." MJ replied.
Kay and I usually learn the details about the events that happened in the trial zone through MJ. So, we knew of the events on Day-2, which led to my elder brother making a woman named Olivia, a Major ORIGIN SIGIL holder.
I used to think that my elder brother thought high of her Innate Talent for him to do what he did. He could have given her a Rudimentary or even a Minor ORIGIN SIGIL if that was the case.
But, now that I found that the same Olivia was the 'Olivia Morris', everything became clear in my head.
I could tell that he did that because of my younger brother. I then turned to look at Kay, who stood in a daze looking at Olivia as she walked towards us. Just like me, he seemed to realise that she was an Alpha Chosen.
Other than that, Kay's pupils dilated looking at his crush, Olivia, in reality. I didn't think my elder brother would one day try to act as a matchmaker.
I also began to understand why he asked me to come here with Kay to the Airport. It was because of the pact that we three siblings made when we were 17 years old.
It was that when one of us has a love interest for someone, one of the other two always has to be pessimistic about that love interest while the other one has to be entirely optimistic about them.
Actually, I was the one who made up this pact after my elder brother's ex-girlfriend broke up with him because we weren't rich anymore as our Enterprise went through a rough patch back then.
I did it because having a close person in our life who stays uprightly pessimistic about one's love interest or even a boyfriend/girlfriend it would help in revealing something that the person who was attracted or in love couldn't see.
Likewise, having another one in our life always being optimistic counterbalances the effect brought by the pessimistic view and brings a balance in our life. At least, that's what I believed when I was 17, hence making the rather strange pact.
It's more like having a 'Prosecutor' and a 'Defence lawyer', where one takes your side while the other acts against it.
Since my elder brother was playing the matchmaker, he must have believed that Olivia and Kay could get together, making him the 'Defence Lawyer' for Kay.

Meaning that I have to be the 'Prosecutor' here and find valid points on why Kay and Olivia shouldn't be together.
Soon, she reached us, and this idiotic brother of mine was still in a daze. So, I took the initiative to greet her.
"Good Evening Miss Olivia. My elder brother sent us to receive you. However, he failed to mention that the company we would be trying to partner up with was F.U.T.U.R.E Inc, hence my younger brother Kay's reaction. Excuse his rudeness."
Kay got out of his daze, and taking my hints, with a wry smile, he greeted her.
"Where were my manners? It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Olivia. Why don't we head to my family's Villa, there we arranged for your stay. We can hold a proper meeting at Nav-Yuga Enterprise tomorrow and discuss the terms of the partnership."
Olivia nodded at Kay, and right then, MJ popped out of my Wristband prototype and shouted with Joy as he jumped at Olivia and hugged her, "Sister Olivia!! You are here! I was waiting for you."
She laughed and rubbed his head before saying, "Little MJ, weren't you chatting with me during the flight? You missed me already?"
Even though I know that MJ was close with Olivia, I didn't know that they were so close. For some reason, my lips twitched uncontrollably. Maybe I shouldn't bully MJ from now on. Then, he might be like that with me too.
While feeling a bit jealous, I turned to look at Kay, who had a dreamy look over his face with adoration for Olivia, who was smiling while playing with MJ.
'Ah! This idiot Kay is already head over heels for her. This just makes my role as a 'Prosecutor' tougher than what I thought it would be. First, I had to know her properly before judging her."
Once we reached our cars, I invited Olivia and the Russian man, Sergei, to join me in my car.
I was worried that Kay would once again daze while looking at Olivia, unintentionally making her uncomfortable and spoiling his chance to get to know each other before anything could even begin between them.
At that moment, I acted like a sister who was looking after her brother rather than playing the 'Prosecutor' role.
Soon after both of them got in my car, they were taken back by my car's interior since there was no steering wheel, no gears, and nothing but plain seats that were ergonomically designed for utmost comfort.
On our way, I chatted with Olivia. For a while, it was about the Trial World and the System. After that, it was about the S.E.E.D technology.
Usually, I am as introverted as my elder brother and talk with only a few close people. Still, I chatted a lot with her because I wanted to know more about her before judging her due to my role as the 'Prosecutor'.
As we chatted, I took a liking to her personality. Unlike the cold persona that the media depicts her as. Olivia is quite approachable and friendly to mingle with.
We even talked about the funny antics that MJ usually does, and I joked about how I used to pull his cheeks whenever he steals my favourite ice cream.
Even the Russian man, Sergei, joined our chatter once in a while. Just like Dante mentioned, he was really a warm-hearted person.
However, whenever I asked anything related to my elder brother, Olivia would barely talk about him. Even when she answered me, she never called him by his name, almost as if she was scared of saying it.
I didn't know what my elder brother did to scare her so much. Maybe it was because she almost died because of him, or due to the fact that all of Olivia's powers are basically under his control.
I heard from MJ that my elder brother gave Olivia his word to not intervene in any of her matters without her consent. Knowing him, I am sure that he wouldn't go back on his word.
As I didn't want her to see Jay as some kind of scary person, I briefed her about our past and how our Enterprise was unjustly framed, followed by our family friends and relatives leaving us in our difficult times and how that affected Jay's ability to trust anyone outside of the close family.
I didn't know if what I said had changed her view of my elder brother. I just wanted her to know that Jay is a trustworthy person and no need for her to be afraid of him.
