《Earth's Alpha Prime》78. Ingenious use of Origin Sigils.

CHAPTER 78: Ingenious use of Origin Sigils.
I used the remaining few drops of the High Vitality fruit's Sap on Min-soo, and I was left with the last High Vitality Fruit from the initial three.
I didn't shy away from using them because at the time that Hobgoblin MJ and Shadow Leopard MJ went on a Monster killing spree, they covered a large area in the Trial Zone.
They came across Magical Trees that had Fruits similar to Stamina Fruits and Vitality Fruits.
Just like the Grade-3 Vitality Fruit that improved my Vitality Attribute by 10 stats upon consuming it for the first time, MJ had found many other Magical Fruits.
Other than the Vitality Fruits and Stamina Fruits that I came across on Day-1, there were also Fruits that could improve the other three Attributes such as Strength Fruits, Agility Fruits, and Spirit Fruits.
With proper knowledge on how to use them, they could provide additional stats.
According to MJ, something like that would only be known when some Alpha Chosen accidentally learns about it, and that usually happens in the later stages of a Trial Program.
It was a rather simple trick, one just had to first consume a Grade-1 Fruit before consuming a higher grade one.
That way, one would get the utmost benefit from those Magical Fruits.
Consuming a Grade-1 magical fruit for the first time would increase one's respective Attribute by 1 Stat, for Grade-2, it would be 3 Stats, and for Grade-3, that was 10 Stats.
However, in my case, I didn't have MJ with me when I first consumed a Grade-3 Vitality Fruit on Day-1.
This caused me to lose the chance to gain more Stats in my Vitality Attribute as it would be useless even if I were to consume Grade-1 and Grade-2 Vitality Fruits.
Well, to me, that wouldn't matter much since I could just gain about 10 Stats every time I exit INVERSE Mode, and that might even increase once I gain more Mastery over the mysterious Origin Energy.
But still, I intended to use them. It's just that I was waiting until I could obtain Agility Fruits so that I could increase my stats uniformly without disrupting the equilibrium among my 5 main Attributes.
Among the ones that MJ found, none of them were Grade-3. It seemed that I was rather lucky to come across a Grade-3 Vitality Fruit Tree on Day-1 itself.

Moreover, it only had a Tier-2 Monster guarding it. From what MJ said, I learned that usually, a Tier-3 Monster would be the one guarding a Grade-3 Magical Tree.
According to such logic, that should mean that the Storm Eagle should also be guarding some kind of Magical Tree.
So, while MJ was treating Min-soo, I went to search the entire area within the Dome. At the very centre of the Dome, I found a cave having an entrance that was big enough for my 10-meter tall self to enter without crouching.
Inside the cave, the path headed diagonally into the ground. After reaching the end of the pathway, I noticed a spacious place deep within the underground.
The underground space was one-third the size of the area within the Dome and it was filled with 2-meter-tall trees that had light-blue coloured leaves and fruits on them.
Through the skill , I could see that they were Agility Fruit Trees. Looking at the hundreds if not thousands of Agility Fruits hanging on those trees, I knew right away that I hit the jackpot.
Even though those were Grade-1 and Grade-2 Agility Fruit Trees, I considered it as a jackpot because other than them, there were also Grade-3 Agility Fruit Trees present.
There were even 3 of them at the centre of the underground space with each of those three trees having 10 Grade-3 Agility Fruits.
I wasn't in a hurry to pick all those Agility Fruits since the Dome of a High-Phase Tier-3 Monster will last till Day-21.
Till then, no one could enter the Dome, much less finding the Agility Fruit Trees hidden in the Underground Space within the Dome.
Even though the shortening of the Trial Program caused the Tournaments to be preponed, it didn't affect the actual Days on which the Dome restrictions would be lifted off.
The precise timings when the Dome restrictions would be lifted off the Tier-3 Monsters stayed the same.
On Day-7, the restriction on all Low-Phase Tier-3 Monsters in the Trial World would be lifted, and on Day-14 and Day-21, it was the Mid-Phase Tier-3 Monsters and High-Phase Monsters, respectively.
If even they were to be preponed to an earlier date like how it happened with the Tournaments, it would become a nightmare for the millions of Alpha-Chosen to survive in the Trial world.
Through MJ's Tier-4 System access, I learned that among the 11 Million Alpha-Chosen in the whole Trial Program, a little over 100,000 Alpha-Chosen had already perished in the first two days of the Alpha Program.

Even though that was a lot, it was actually one of the least casualty rates to be seen in the Trial Programs that took place since the very beginning of the System's existence according to MJ.
When I first learned about it, I realised that the Alpha-Chosen of the entire Milkyway Galaxy were abnormal. It's just that the Earth's Alpha Chosen were among the top portion of that abnormal list.
As I was in my thoughts, MJ contacted me through our mental connection and said that Min-soo's condition stabilised and that with the healing properties of High Vitality Fruit's Sap, it would at most take an hour for his ruptured eardrums to heal.
But for Min-soo to regain consciousness, MJ estimated that it would take around 24 hours.
After that, I exited the cave and tested the ingenious idea on Storm Eagle MJ that I had a while before.
I couldn't share the Innate talent of any monster that MJ uses on unless I loot it before MJ integrates with its corpse.
Above that, I couldn't share the Mastery of any of MJ's Corpse Integrated Monsters like how I could with the holders of my Origin Sigils.
So, that led me to think that why not imprint Origin Sigils on all the MJ's Corpse Integrated Monsters to get the best possible benefits.
Just as I expected, I was able to Imprint an Origin Sigil on Storm Eagle MJ.
I didn't use a Major Origin Sigil to avoid any possible complications, such as the shortening of the Trial Program.
Because of the Minor Origin Sigil that I imprinted on Storm Eagle MJ, its Grade-4 Wind Innate talent was upgraded to Grade-9, and I gained absolute control over it.
With the other Minor Origin Sigil benefit that lets me synchronise with the respective Innate Talent Mastery, it was even better than having a Grade-9 Innate Talent since I personally don't need to train in the Wind Mastery to raise it.
[Do you wish to synchronise with memory fragments that contain the comprehension of Lv.30 (Stage-3)?]
Once I accepted it, a similar scene to when I merged with the memory fragments of Shadow Leopard's Darkness Element comprehension repeated itself.
[By forced absorption of Stage-3 Mastery memory fragments, your mind will go into a long-term Spirit paralysis state.]
[Due to your Unique Innate Talent's protection, you are invulnerable from the damage caused by forced absorption of Masteries.]
By going through synchronising with Peak stage-3 , I experienced tons of mental pain that matched the amount of pain I usually experience every time I enter INVERSE mode.
With that, my increased from Lv.37 to Lv. 45 in a single swing.
Once the synchronisation with Lv.30 was completed, my Wind Element comprehension improved by leaps and bounds.
A few minutes ago, I just had Lv.2 and with that, I could barely control the air around me.
But with the increased on top of having the abilities of a Grade-9 Wind Innate Talent, I was able to cause the orientation of winds in the Dome to change with just my breath alone.
My sensitivity towards the Wind Element reached the point that the air around me became a part of my senses.
After that, I repeated the same process with Hobgoblin MJ and Shadow Leopard MJ, turning Grade-3 Fire Innate Talent and Darkness Innate Talent into Grade-9 ones.
I also synchronised with their Masteries, Lv.24 and Lv.26, respectively.
After that, it took me a few minutes to properly adjust myself to the sudden improvements in my , , and . By then, 15 minutes passed.
With my Time Perception standard being 20 times a normal human, it took me just a few minutes to adjust to the improvements.
In the remaining 10 minutes of my Inverse Mode, I began comprehending Origin Energy to improve my Origin Mastery.
When I was stuck in the time loop inside my Innate Talent, it took me around 200 days worth of time just to gain 1% comprehension over Origin Energy.
After that, no matter what I did, I couldn't enter the depths of within my Spirit Space and activate the time loop to comprehend Origin Mastery.
Even though I didn't know exactly how long it would take to reach 2% Origin Mastery, I could at least tell that it would take more than the 200 days that it took me to comprehend 1% Origin Mastery.

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y
