CHAPTER 69. Change in the Trial Program's Course. (EDITED)
Even then, I didn't unconditionally trust her like my sister, because I knew that her loyalty would waver in the future should she face a circumstance, where she had to betray our family to save her own mother.
But, I didn't want to take any chances, especially when it concerned my sister's safety.
So, with the and Stage-3 , I planted something called 'Soul Marker' in Esha's Soul, just like what I did at the Court Retrial.
Using a 'Soul Marker', I could restrict one's Soul and take away control over their body.
But, I didn't do that to Esha, and just set the 'Soul Marker' in her Soul so that it automatically activates itself, should she have even the slightest intention to harm Qew in the future.
Still, the 'Soul Marker' has its weakness as it only works on the souls of anyone that is at least a tier below the user. For those that weren't even assimilated by the System, its effect was undeniable.
As for the 'Soul marker', It was a technique that I developed based on the 'Shadow Marker' ability of the Spirit Item , which was given out as a System reward when MJ killed the Tier-2 Shadow Leopard.
________
(Uncommon Grade): Enables the user to implant a 'Shadow Marker' in the target's shadow to trace their location within a 100 km radius.
No. of traceable targets: 100
Effect: Spirit+15^
Requirements: 25 Spirit
Durability: 100/100
________
Before I sent Shadow Leopard MJ on a killing spree, I had it merge with the , so that if it comes across any other Earth's Alpha Chosen in the Trial Zone, the Shadow Leopard MJ could implant a 'Shadow Marker' in their shadow to track their movements, wherever they were within the Earth's Trial Zone.
While I was in my thoughts, Qew noticed me standing at the gate entrance, and excitedly ran towards me and asked me with excitement, "Big brother, you are finally back! Kay and I were waiting for you. Together, we even tried to guess what 'Special Gift' you said that you would give us just before the end of the Day-2 rest period."
I patted her head and replied softly, "As for the 'Special Gift,' both of you can see for yourselves and no, it's not your favourite Ice Cream."

Back when they asked me about how everything in the Court Retrial worked out in our favour, I revealed to Kay and Qew that I gained an ability related to Soul, which basically lets me hear everyone's thoughts around me, and even take control over their mind.
When I told Qew that the 'Special Gift' was not her Favourite Ice Cream, she knew that I read her thoughts.
But she could only pout since she knew that hearing thoughts was a passive ability of my .
After that, I nodded to Esha, and she left as I got into my house along with Qew. Kay was still busy with work piled up from the Quadnite Conglomerate transferring its shares and properties to our Enterprise.
When he saw me, he took a break from his work and thanked me for having MJ help him with the Enterprise's work, and that if not for him, Kay would have loads of work to deal with.
After a short chat with my siblings, I revealed that the Soul related Innate Talent was not something I looted from a Monster, but obtained through my new awakened Innate Exclusive Skill, .
Then, I gave a brief explanation of ORIGIN SIGILS' functions and their 3 subdivisions, major, Minor and Rudimentary.
I didn't fail to mention that becoming the Holder of an ORIGIN SIGIL would give me absolute control over their Innate Talents, and that I would also have the ability to strip off their powers if I willed it.
But, when I was about to talk about the disadvantage any further, both Qew and Kay cut me off, asking me to skip the explanation part and to just proceed with the process of imprinting ORIGIN SIGILS.
If I couldn't read their thoughts, I would have thought it to be their impatience, but, from their thoughts, it seemed that they outright dismissed the possibility of me hurting them under any circumstance.
Even though my Sister acted spoiled, she felt guilty that our family members had to personally take care of her due to her paraplegia.
So, when she learned about the System's existence and the impending invasion of monsters, she wanted to participate in the Trial program, so that she could grow powerful enough to help me.
But, knowing that she had to wait for three months before entering the Beta Program, she was disappointed that she couldn't help me till then.

Still, she did her best to grow accustomed to her legs whose functionality recently returned, as she was cured with the High Vitality Fruit's sap.
But when Qew learned that the Major ORIGIN SIGILS could turn anyone into an Omega-Chosen, she wanted it even more; this was further fueled by her motivation to help me, resulting in her being very excited for the opportunity.
In my brother's case, his motivation was entirely different, as Kay didn't want to be so powerless, that I had to save him from those who intend to harm him.
It was not that he was worried about my safety, but that Kay knew that I would mercilessly annihilate anyone who tries to harm him.
Back when he learned that I killed all of those Underground Criminal Syndicate members, Kay even blamed himself for their deaths.
According to him, If he was strong enough, he wouldn't have been captured by them, and would have resolved the situation without any casualties.
As I read his thoughts, I let out a sigh at his soft-heartedness.
After that, I had MJ manifest a part of the around the house, in case of any disturbance that might interrupt me during the process of imprinting ORIGIN SIGILS.
I wasn't sure if the Origin Sigil would work on those who weren't even assimilated with the System; however,I still wanted to try. I placed each of my hands on their foreheads and closed my eyes.
Once I willed to imprint Origin Sigils, I sensed two pillars of Origin Energy emerging from my Unique Innate Talent within my Spirit Space.
The length of those pillars continued to expand exponentially, before it finally exceeded the boundaries of my Spirit Space.
Beyond my Spirit Space, I wasn't able to sense where the pillars of Origin Energy reached.
Then, a notification popped up in my vision, as that showed what had transpired between the System and .
[ is forcibly summoning the allotted Innate Talents of Earth ORIGIN SIGIL Holder and Venus ORIGIN SIGIL Holder into Host's Spirit Space.]
After looking at the notification, I sent my Consciousness into my Spirit Space to have a closer look at what was happening in there.
It didn't take more than a few seconds before the Origin Energy pillars began to retreat back into my golf ball-sized Innate Talent.
Soon, I was able to see the other end of the two Origin Energy pillars and each of them had Grade-7 Variant Category Innate talents attached to it.
Once the Origin Energy pillars completely retracted into my Innate Talent, those two Grade-7 Innate Talents were hit by a wave of Origin Energy. Each of them continued to grow larger, until they reached a diameter of 10 million km.
After that, a few Origin Energy chains bound each of those two Innate Talents, and made them obediently revolve in the 10th outermost circular path around the golf-ball-sized Orb.
On the day before the Milky Way Galaxy Trial Program began, the System let the countless Innate Talents of the universe choose the hosts, with the highest compatibility with them.
But, one would only gain the Innate Talent when they actually assimilate with the System.
At least that was the case until defied that Universally acclaimed logic by letting my siblings gain their Innate Talents even before their assimilation with the System.
Following that, I exited my Spirit Space and opened my eyes.
There was an exquisite silver imprint of Earth on Kay's glabella. (E/N: the spot between the eyebrows)
The Earth ORIGIN SIGIL, which represented his Kindness, was slowly rotating with a trace of the silver moon revolving around it, just like how the moon revolves around Earth.
In my sister's case, it was the exquisite silver imprint of Venus ORIGIN SIGIL, which represents her playfulness and her unconditional love for anyone that she trusts.
Just when I was about to test the Innate Talent abilities of my siblings, the Trial-Worldwide announcement notifications that popped up, sent me into a daze.

It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.
