CHAPTER 52. Andrea's Decision [(Part-2) out of 4]
After that, I introduced myself to both of them, and the three of us conversed for some time.
Most of it was them sharing their experiences in the past 20 hours, and I also learned about their Innate Talents.
Kasim has a Grade-8, and with that, he could manipulate the Earth element. That was also how he made an underground tunnel and a hidden room.
Unlike Kasim and me, who have Elemental Category Innate Talents, Olivia's Innate Talent belongs to the Variant Category.
It was Grade-8, and when she obtained it, her eye pupils changed to golden colour.
One of the abilities of her eyes was to see souls within a certain range.
That was also how she found Kasim in the first 2 hours of Day-1 since she could differentiate between a monster's soul and the soul of a human.
Other than occasionally coming out to kill weaker monsters, they focussed on training their Innate Talent Masteries.
With both of them having Grade-8 Innate Talents, Kasim's and Olivia's reached Stage-3 Mastery (Lv.21-Lv.30) in less amount of time.
Once she reached Stage-3, the range in which she could see Souls increased to 10 km, and that was also how she knew I was there.
Another ability of her eyes was that she could momentarily control the monster's soul to kill each other.
Other than the , Kasim also trained in with a rusted mace he got from killing a monster.
From him, I learned that raising Mastery in it was 8 times slower than training in .
But still, it only took a little less than 4 hours to reach Stage-2 in .
Similar to Kasim, Olivia also trained using a Weapon Mastery and reached Stage-2 in but the way she uses it was entirely different.
With her reaching Stage-3, she gained a new ability to control objects with her mind.
But the objects were limited to things that weigh less than 10 kgs. At least, that was the case with her Lv.21.
She uses that to control the 2 Spirit Daggers she gained as a reward from killing monsters.
After sharing their experiences and knowledge, they knew about the Trial Zone, They began training their Masteries, and I followed them as I began to comprehend the Light element.

Since my Innate Talent was a Grade-8 one, I reached Stage-2 in in 90 minutes.
It was almost as if my helped me teach the uses of Light Element.
After that, Olivia gave me a short sword and had me form a bond with it.
I trained in until it reached Lv.5, and next, both of them took me out with them in search of monsters.
With Olivia's ability to see the souls, she led us so that we didn't come across any Tier-2 monsters.
Kasim would attack the Tier-1 monsters head-on, and from behind, Olivia controls the monster crowd so that they don't surround Kasim.
Instead of killing the monsters, they would weaken the monster and let me kill them.
As a surgeon, I was accustomed to looking at blood. It didn't take long for me to get used to killing monsters.
Since my contribution was less in the fight, the system only allotted me 10% of the monster's Life Energy.
Because of that, it took me quite some time to reach Lv.2.
After that, we returned to our underground hideout, and I distributed the Stats I obtained from reaching Lv.2.
I used my Undistributed Stats so that my physical Attributes had 10 Stats and added the remaining ones in Spirit Attribute.
It took me some time to add them through Safety mode, and when the time was 23 hours and 45 minutes, a notification appeared in front of me.
It stated that one of the 11 Alpha Chosen reached Lv.10 and unlocked a new function called 'Trial Zone Alpha Leaderboard'.
Then, all three of us looked at each other and confirmed that we got the same notification. Soon, each of us manually opened our respective and opened the new function.
I was shocked to learn that someone already managed to reach Lv.10 because I learned from Olivia that the Life Energy required to reach each higher level increases exponentially.
Olivia and Kasim, whom I hold in high regard, were only in Lv.7 and Lv.6, respectively, even after killing so many Tier-1 monsters.
But, there were still 5 more people above them. As for me, I was the last one with Lv.2.
In the next few minutes, all three of us discussed Alpha Chosen as we memorised their names, and we were motivated by the Leaderboard rankings and went outside to kill monsters and increase our levels.

But, before any of that, we were dumbstruck when gigantic notifications appeared in the sky about someone named 'Regaz' reached Tier-2.
That was also when we learned that it was not just Earth, but a million Life Planets were selected for the Trial Program.
With the new revelation, we didn't search for any monsters and returned to the underground Hideout to discuss the possible scenarios the new development would lead to.
We also checked the in which there was only the name 'Regaz', his native planet 'Garek' and his level mentioned in a row.
Since Olivia and Kasim Mastery satisfied a requirement for Tier-2 Evolution, I learned from them that Lv.10 is the end of Tier-1 and to reach beyond that, one needs to undergo Tier-2 Evolution.
After that, most of our conversation revolved around the Trial Region Tournament that takes place among the 1000 Trial Zones of the Trial Region.35.
Kasim and I agreed on Olivia's decision to actively search for the other Earth's Alpha Chosen and work with them as a team to fight against the Alpha Chosen from other Zones in the Tournament.
Just like Kasim, my respect for Olivia grew. It didn't just stem from me being indebted to her for saving my life but also due to her decision-making skills and ability to maintain composure even in a world filled with monsters.
Then, Olivia used her ability to perceive souls and her golden eyes glowed as every soul within the 10 km radius was visible to her.
Her eyes fixated on the North Direction as she said that, 8.5 km (5.3 miles) away, there was an Lv.9 Alpha Chosen.
Since we went through the , we knew that the one that Olivia perceived must have been either Sergei or Brandon.
Then, similar to the previous time, the information within some notifications surged into our minds that another Alpha Chosen evolved to Tier-2.
Not long after that, another set of gigantic notifications popped up in the sky.
But unlike the previous ones, it was about an Alpha Chosen from Earth becoming the 3rd one among the entire 11 million Alpha Chosen to reach Tier-2.
For us, who were worried about the dangers that we had to face in the Region Tournament among 1000 Zones of other Life Planets, the sky's notifications brought hope.
We set our priority to find 'Jay' for his help in the Tournament after meeting up with the Lv.9 Alpha Chosen.
Then, something unexpected happened as we got notifications saying that we will be sent to Earth for an 18-hour rest period before teleporting back to the Trial World.
Olivia said she would contact us on earth and search for the other Alpha Chosen using her resources.
She reminded us not to use our abilities in front of others on Earth.
Just as the 1-minute timer ended, we were teleported to earth. I first took care of my personal business by applying for leave to the Hospital I worked at and spent some time with my family.
Other than that, most of the time, I comprehended the essence of Light Element.
Initially, I was doubtful whether I could increase the on earth but later found that my worries were for nothing since the Light element was within nature all along, and with me having a , I was able to conjure it and comprehend it to gain higher levels of mastery.
By the time the rest period ended, I had reached Stage-3 in my .
Once again, I was teleported to the Trial World, and Day-2 started as all three of us appeared in the same location where we were before the end of Day-1.
Kasim had a 1-inch thick dark-brown armour made of earth covering his entire body, except for the joints.
Just like me, he also didn't stay idle and increased his elemental mastery. As his mastery increased, so did his control over the Earth element.
With that, he made armour out of earth clumps, but unlike how it looks, it was nearly as strong as a metal since he increased the density of the earth element used in it by several-fold.
He bragged about his hand made armour for a while before getting shut down by Olivia.
After that, both of us followed Olivia as we travelled towards the nearby Alpha Chosen.

This is a story no man in Lumenter will ever hear, no man except for an Arnesen, for his stories are dull and generic to the ears of the masses, except for us, because he is the very reason why our people traveled this far east, why kingdoms in Erisgi fell and rose, why I... even existed in the first place.
