CHAPTER 3: 1st INNATE EXCLUSIVE SKILL - [LOOTED STATUS]

I didn't dally any longer and left the area where any other monsters might appear because of the smell of dead Goblin’s blood.

It took me 20 minutes to carefully reach my tree hideout.

I repeated the process of covering the entrance with bushes. I entered the tree burrow, and it became completely dark inside.

I tried to use the newly obtained Skill [Night Vision] and a notification popped up.

Merging with [Night Vision] will cause a permanent change within your eyes.

Do you wish to merge with [Night Vision]?

I accepted it after thinking my survival takes more priority than my eye appearance.

The moment I accepted it, I felt a painful burning sensation within my eyes. While I was enduring pain, two notifications popped up.

Lv.1 [Physical Pain Resistance] (Common) obtained

Lv.1 [Physical Pain Resistance]: Resistance towards Physical pain increases by 1%.

Lv.1 [Physical Pain Resistance] ➝ Lv.2 [Physical Pain Resistance]

Lv.2 [Physical Pain Resistance]: Resistance towards Physical pain increases by 2%.

Even though I can't look at it, all the information contained within the notification was directly sent to my mind.

I was intrigued to find that Skills can be even learned in such a fashion.

And the pain sensation slowly washed away after a few seconds. To my amazement, when I opened my eyes, I could see in the dark.

Even though it was not as clear as day, everything was clearly visible within my vicinity. Still, the colours were rather dull than clear.

I couldn't see what kind of change occurred in the appearance of my eyes. So, I left it and tried to use another newly obtained Innate Skill, Nimble Fingers.

Merging with [Nimble FIngers] will cause a permanent change within your body.

I accepted it. Instead of a burning sensation, I experienced a shock coursing from my brain to fingers on my hands through my nerves, almost as if I was experiencing an electric shock. It continued for a few seconds.

Lv.3 [Physical Pain Resistance]: Resistance towards Physical pain increases by 3%.

When I recovered, I felt a strange sensation within my fingers. My fingers started moving subconsciously at a rapid pace. Strangely it looked like I was playing the Piano.

Within another few seconds, my control over my fingers improved. I started testing my [Nimble Fingers] Skill in a somewhat risky way. I placed the kitchen knife's pointy edge between my fingers and slowly started tapping between my fingers and started increasing the tapping speed.

I strangely felt extremely confident in controlling the knife within my hand. The speed at which I was tapping was at an unprecedented pace and was very controlled.

I enjoyed the adrenaline rush while playing such a dangerous game, and after that, I took out some food from my mini trekking bag to eat.

While eating, I thought about the notifications that appeared after I killed those Goblins. A tab of information opened in the left portion of my vision, which contained the records of all the previous notifications I received.

I closed the information tab and looked at the top left corner of my vision to check the time.

It’s been 1hour and 5 minutes since I got teleported.

I curiously opened my [STATUS] and found [LOOTED STATUS] as ‘INNATE EXCLUSIVE SKILL’ under my ‘INNATE TALENT’ category.

By concentrating on it, my [STATUS] tab flipped on its back, a silver-coloured tab appeared with some information similar to that of the ‘STATUS’ tab but the Attributes in this tab has different values.

The [LOOTED STATUS] tab had nothing about Life Energy. There was ‘Estimated Level’ in the place of ‘Level’ and ‘Estimated Tier’ instead of ‘Tier.’

Except for the unchanged Luck attribute, all other Attributes present in [LOOTED STATUS] were 0. Beside each Stat value, there was a star mark showing that the Stats were Looted Stats.

It also contains an additional detail called ‘Looted Stats’ instead of ‘Undistributed Stats.’

I tried to see if I could add these ‘Looted Stats’ to my attributes and found that I could change nothing. When I was in deep thought while looking at the [LOOTED STATUS], a notification appeared as I accidentally concentrated on the word, Looted Status.

Looted Stats in [LOOTED STATUS] should be at least double than Overall Stats in [STATUS] except for Luck, to use Looted Stats.

Then I understood that all the combined stats in the 5 main Attributes such as Strength, Agility, Vitality, Endurance, and Spirit in [LOOTED STATUS] needed to be twice their corresponding Attributes in [STATUS] for me to use the Looted Stats.

I looked forward to using Looted Stats as it exponentially increases my chance of survival in this unknown place.

Since I had nothing to do in [LOOTED STATUS], I thought of the command [STATUS], and the [LOOTED STATUS] tab flipped back, and the [STATUS] tab appeared in my sight.
