As per poll results, this will be the first ‘meta’ topic I’ll be covering.
There are 2 types of skills.
[Ac]
Active
Need the user to willingly trigger them. Consume MP.
[Pa]
Passive
Activate when certain outside conditions are met, or are always active. Do not consume MP.
MP refers to Magic Power. In this universe, ‘magic’ and ‘skill-induced’ are synonyms and are used interchangeably by most.
There are 3 categories of skills.
High-level
From S+ to A-
Mid-level
From B+ to C-
Low-level
D+ and below
Everyone is born with hundreds of skills, but most of them will not raise above F (the lowest level) throughout the lifetime of the user. These “ulta-low” skills will still be possible to use though, but only with outside assistance (like magic artefacts).
D is the average level one person can achieve by working hard, or with some special training. To raise a skill higher, the user needs to either really specialize in it, or, more likely, be born with it.

Luck regeneration starts at 1 instead of 0 (more at high levels)

Chronicles of Rathia - The Era of Blood
Welcome to the Chronicles of Rathia. Contained within is a trilogy of stories which are all set in different time periods and with different characters. Each story has its own era from The Era of Blood, The Era of Magic and The Era of Demons. Read along the first in the series which is The Era of Blood where magic is still in an infant stage and where swords can dominate the battle field. In The Era of Blood, you follow along the first main character who had his memories wiped clean except for the most basic things in life. It is up to him to find out how to get his memories back and why they are gone. (If you don't like the story layout or characters, I suggest either just reading through or wait till the next one in the series is being released. With how it's set up, you can enjoy any of the three in the trilogy but of course reading in order will help give a better understanding of the world.)
