I have chosen not to write Imperator's Path during this time (though I will likely be working on the next project that will follow this story after it has concluded) to reenergize my drive and focus for Adrias's story. At nearly 125,000 words into the story, we're about halfway through my planned timeline for the story length and I want to avoid burnout by actively taking a break that isn't induced by writer's block or clinical depression.

I appreciate everyone who has come along for this journey and wanted to let you know the reasons that posting will pause so that no one is worried about a long term hiatus or the story being dropped. Rest assured that neither of those are happening. (Those of you who were around for the nine day gap between Chapter 29 and Chapter 30 know I always come back to this story until the work is done.)
