《The Faction Contributor [Sci-Fi LitRPG]》Chapter 58: Reveal

“That…” Looking at the huge interactive map of the Forbidden Continent in Eland’s command and strategizing center with eyes darting actively between all the abomination currents and purple dots, Aven hardly believed one of the scenarios he had just got a glimpse of.
Checking again and again, even bringing up a few behavior analysis reports about important involved grade 5 and grade 4 abominations, the scenario gradually transformed into a secondary outcome.
“Change the 59th abomination current direction from west to northwest following the instinctual fear wave from Mist purge operation, make A4 follow behind them, link 51st abomination current to it, make the entire area shift towards the northwest…”
Displaying all his knowledge in tactics without hiding one bit, his monologue soon caught the attention of all the officers in the room as he just kept on going without stopping.
“Wake up A8 and A9 after being disturbed by chaos-induced abomination currents shift, make them follow, A37 backtrack after those 2 moves, the abomination core is affected by all the abominations turning and no normalized impulse is given anymore, deepening the overall northwest charge behavior…”
Drawing a picture that unfolded from a single point, arrows after arrows kept on popping everywhere, affecting nearly the whole continent, and with every additional completely rational and logical consequential event, all the arrows became longer and longer.
“A2, A3, and A5 meet up near the Vow area, the resistance there is too fierce so a wall slide will ensue, the presence of 3 grade 5 abominations will not allow for a weakening of the defense there, reinforcing the resistance even more, making the current slide even more towards Athal…”
When the whole map finished being highlighted by linked arrows all leading towards the northwest Athal-manned area, only silence welcomed the end of the new scenario Aven had literally created under their eyes in slightly over 20 minutes.
“What do you think?” He asked aloud, demanding feedback.
But no one answered him.
The scenario that had been created involved too many complex nodes, and they didn’t have an innate ability or a talent that allowed them to access their knowledge instantly and use it without boundaries.
“If you can’t destroy 20% of the theory, then consider this as a secondary scenario. And the worst thing is that it can’t be averted unless… Nothing,” he casually said, “Averting it would mean weakening other parts of the wall to disturb the general movement, but that’s out of the question.”
Looking around at everyone without discriminating, he finished his job, “I’ll come back in 10 hours, if you haven’t completely denied this arrow group by then, then share it.”
Leaving the command center without looking back, Aven was aware that they wouldn’t be able to destroy what he had built, so he didn’t head for the wall but headed for a logistic section nearly exclusively owned by ERA.
“What can we do for you Aven?” The moment he arrived, he was welcomed by an old woman he clearly wasn’t meeting for the first time.
“Just found out a plausible severe wall break scenario, I need you to find a bunker room in the Athal-manned part of the wall and shift a few ASHAS and as many shells as is needed to fill it completely for... 2 weeks? Yup, let's go with 2 weeks~” He amiably exposed his hot-take on the situation.
“Oh?” Tilting her head for a moment, she sent a glance at a “worker” who immediately started walking away, “I would of course advise against your presence there if such a scenario came to occur, but your will is my will. I’ll make the necessary preparations as fast as possible.”

“Thank you Valda~” Thanking her before leaving, he still didn’t head towards the front line, preferring to head towards the ASHAS production hall where he picked a single newly produced 994% tech-enhanced artillery sniper and as many shells as he could take with both his energy telekinesis and the transport truck he nearly owned by this point.
With his perfectionist side satisfied, he finally headed for the front line where he expertly replaced one of his artillery snipers with a new one and cut his link to the production wall to dedicate himself fully to easing the abomination burden on the area of the wall he was located in.
A single tech-enhancement percent was important, it allowed him, even if only to the smallest degree, to shoot farther, to aim more easily, to take out bigger parts of the abomination ocean, to reload faster... That was the core of the production tech super path.
An hour later, making it the 6th hour since he woke up, he took a small break to claim a cultivation trinity set before resuming his cleaning effort, not minding whatever should be taking place behind him.
Hours passed, 6 more hours, and he took another break to actualize his trinity effect, not even thinking about anything else but continuing to contribute.
His extremely reduced biological needs had all been fulfilled when he woke up, and his numerous physical talents catering to that area made sure he wouldn’t need to eat anytime soon. He was simply in his element in this bunker room.
The moment his phone alarm went off, he wrapped up a few shots on extremely far targets that were only attainable due to his extremely high position. If he wasn’t standing so high, the curvature of the planet would make those shots objectively impossible without extremely far-fetched bullet trajectories.
Passing by the ASHAS production hall to satisfy his optimized mindset that wouldn’t let him live without making the most of his energy resources at any time before returning to the command center, it didn’t take him more than a few minutes to understand that his scenario hadn’t been denied.
This was a command center, not a strategizing center, so when he neared it, he swiftly realized from the increased security that…
Things had already started to move.
Entering without receiving even a single appraising look from the heightened security, his thoughts on the situation were quickly confirmed.
Massive screens had been turned on, displaying people anyone even remotely interested in politics knew.
The 5 nations had been convened together.
“Well, that escalated quickly~” The fact that he hadn't tried to hide his entry surely helped making sure his arrival into the room didn’t go unnoticed for long, and as the one who theorized the whole reason why this meeting happened to begin with, he was quickly ushered into a central position of this remote convention.
“Hello everyone~ Happy to be in the center of the spotlight~” Greeting everyone politely as he had been taught to do since his childhood, Aven slightly bowed to follow the numerous cultural mannerisms that considered such a sign to be simple politeness.
“So you’re the one who saw the possible wall breach scenario… I’ve never heard of you,” a dark-skinned man with white hair was the first to answer.
“It’s always a pleasure to meet a fairy,” a strict-looking woman with red hair echoed his greetings with the same level of politeness.
“Hu,” a grunt of acknowledgment came from another screen displaying a pale-skinned handsome, according to any standard imaginable, man.
“Thank you for joining this reunion,” a regular old man jovially welcomed him through the last of the 4 massive screens.

“Anyway, there’s still a few days before we can confirm whether this scenario will happen or not, what was being discussed?” Averting any more polite exchanges and imposing himself as a conversation leader, he openly asked and displayed the fact that he hadn’t followed how the situation had evolved at all.
“The manpower reattribution,” the jovial old man, despite his position as the Mist Republic representative, filled him in.
“Well, that sounds like a very amazing subject, though not one I care about,” sarcastically dismissing the answer as uninteresting, he changed the subject unbothered, “But I take it that it’s been decided to make preemptive moves then, right? Perfect!”
Ending his point, he then looked at the 5 representatives present in the room, one for each of the 5 nations, “Do you want me to accelerate the process? Just send me an overview of your manpower distribution and I can redistribute it for you.”
“That’s a bit presumptuous of you to suggest that,” the strict-looking woman with red hair, the Emma Empire representative, replied after a few seconds of silence.
“It’s already a bit weird for me to reveal myself to the world like that, but this possible wall break scenario forced my hands,” Aven smiled bitterly at the ridiculous situation he found himself in, “Hence, I have no shame in admitting that my capabilities alone are above anything you ever encountered before.”
Thinking for a bit more, he ended up adding, “And if I don’t get your detailed manpower distribution, I'll just ask ERA to send me what they have so that I can give potential distribution advice.”
“You’re claiming things that you shouldn’t be claiming, young fairy,” the United Federation Of The Athal Continent, or Athal Federation, representative, a dark-skinned man with white hair, the first to have answered his greeting, countered.
“I’m just stating facts. You give me your detailed manpower distributions, you discuss other similarly important matters while I take control of a few computers there, and I give you an adjusted version which I consider to be the more accurate for what will be needed to stop the wall break scenario in a few hours,” shrugging the accusation off, Aven didn’t even request for someone to back him up on Eland’s side.
“The fairies of Eland have a tendency to be unstoppably mischievous, even in the most serious of situations, so I’ll have to ask your human representative to confirm your claims,” the Eternal Vow Kingdom representative, the handsome pale-skinned man, asserted.
“Oh yeah, I read about that somewhere, I wonder what my ancestors did to make such a mistake so commonly spread? Whatever, Valda? As my proud sidekick, can you tell him what he wants to hear? If you don’t want to, I can try to turn the situation into a ridiculous one,” becoming a bit unhinged at being linked to a stereotype, Aven sent a glance at the old woman he had talked to not even 11 hours ago.
“While it would be perfectly in line with how I would expect an Eland fairy to react, whether you like it or not, I’d prefer not,” denying him solemnly, she took the stage back and looked at the other 4 representatives, “His claims are true. No more comments will be made. Respect his privacy.”
“You said a few hours, right?” The dark-skinned Athal Federation representative asked following that surprising support.
“Yup, give me a few hours and I’ll give you what I consider to be the best manpower transition plan I can come up with. And considering the Athal-manned part of the wall is the main location of the wall break scenario, having yours would help me greatly,” Aven responded to him without blinking.
“And how involved are you in that scenario?” Pushing the investigation deeper as it concerned him more than anyone else, the dark-skinned representative tried to search for his motivation.
Remaining silent for a few tens of seconds with a casual smile plastered on his face, Aven ended up giving the most honest answer he had, “I’ll be going there myself, I need to contribute.”
And that answer seemed to have sealed the deal, as, in addition to the reputation of Eland as the strongest country backing him up, the detailed manpower distribution of each of the 5 nations was given to him.
When he got to work while still hearing the 5 representatives discussing another of the numerous subjects that he would have also been able to help with, and probably will if the discussion was extended until he had finished the manpower distribution makeup, Aven only had a single thought.
‘Now… I can’t hide myself anymore even if I wanted to. But it’s worth it. Personally making sure a wall break event is dodged in exchange for advancing my public world reveal by a few months? By the time I started showing my interdisciplinary genius capabilities, things would have pretty much gone down a similar path anyway.’
Convincing himself that he wouldn’t have been able to remain hidden in the shadows of Eland for long, all his limits and shackles vanished.
What was done was done, now, he just had to start translating his world revolutionizing ignited ambitions into reality.
…
“Thanks for your work~” Aven thanked the man who had just handed him a glass of martial-produced fruit juice, “Keep it up for as long as your mind can take it, I’m still up for around 20 hours so don’t force yourself.”
“Sigh… Fairies…” Looking him straight in the eyes, the new representative that came to replace Valda, who needed to take a break, shook his head slightly but didn’t develop his train of thought further.
“I’m not any fairy, and if you’re worried about me, then you’re wrong to assume what I’m doing is anything remotely difficult,” breaking eye contact, Aven focused on the arriving files concerning the rotation schedules of grade 3 and 4 supers as well as their interactions with the grade 5 powerhouses’.
Juggling and organizing all those was going to be a truly perplexing and time-consuming task, and it certainly wasn’t the most appropriate one for him, but it was a task that was as urgent as the few he had already done. Including the manpower distribution task.
A good clear schedule would clear doubt and allow everyone following it to know they were part of a cycle.
That was what he wanted to create.
“It is not my place to judge. The break will be over in 5 minutes, so if you’ll allow me,” using the same respectful tone any ERA personnel had always used when interacting with him, he left and returned to the central table, ready to discuss yet more matters that needed to be discussed if the wall break scenario signs continued to show themselves.
40 hours had passed since Aven had created an arrow group that resulted in a wall break event, and the signs he had preemptively seen had only become more and more obvious as time passed.
The center of the Forbidden Continent, the abomination core, was slowly undergoing a shift that found its origin in dozens of individual, seemingly unrelated events, all unifying and echoing each other in the most unfortunate, but not unpredictable, way possible.
As the most concerned one in this wall break scenario, the United Federation Of The Athal Continent was the nation pushing the most for preventive actions to be taken, and the more the situation evolved in this horrifying direction, the harder they pushed.
Fortunately for them, the current global climate was unified.
The rogue Canopy branches had stopped causing chaos for a bit, surely biding their time for when the danger of imminent destruction had disappeared, and only Emma brought about some problems to the table.
Indubitably, however, the presence of a fairy siding and helping them unequivocally was a reason that allowed for the situation to unfold extremely quickly in the direction they hoped the most while still keeping the situation on their side in complete control.
The current 5 nations conventions couldn’t be hidden, so pretty much every officer serving in this abomination surge knew that something severe was unfolding.
The massive arrival of grade 3, 4, and even grade 5 supers, medical personnel, and weaponry convoys in the Athal-manned part of the Forbidden Wall only helped everyone confirm that something was amiss.
With only a few days left before the wall break scenario was confirmed to either be happening or not, Aven was doing his best to make the most seamless and perfect transition he could, leaving no exploitable hole behind.
In this crisis, the Emma Empire and the Nation of Eland should have been the least concerned as they were diametrically opposed to the northwest direction in which the entire abomination ocean would shift towards if his scenario ever came to be.
But that was without counting on the fact that Aven had literally achieved the state of becoming the universal advisor for the 5 nations, and he certainly didn’t intend on letting a wall break happen just to secure Eland a bit more.
The balance was hard to find, but it existed, and he did eventually find it.
When 20 more hours went by, his name started spreading amidst the higher-ups of more than just the 5 great nations, not only was he involved in nearly every transition currently happening, but the abomination surge was also truly transforming in a way extremely close to how he had planned it to.
At this point though, exhaustion came knocking on his door and he had to stop helping plan for the most perfect transition to have ever existed.
And perfectly knowing that fighting against it was a lost cause, he simply left the command center where more than just a few representatives had already relayed themselves to keep up with him and headed for the ASHAS production hall.
Using this opportunity, he claimed his contribution reward for the day.
Dynamic Faction Contribution Quests: Nation of Eland
…
Dynamic Contribution: 30 672 000 FCP
“I… don’t think it adds up…?” Noticing an anomaly, Aven retraced what he had done in this cycle.
5 hours of sleep followed by 5 hours of strategizing advice, totaling 10 hours of contributing via the ASHAS production hall.
10 hours of clearing the abomination ocean by taking down important and problematic targets.
45 hours of background ASHAS production hall contribution while helping plan for the transition.
“Did I gain a few million FCP from… Helping plan the transition? I don’t see any other possibility…” Dissecting his reward for a few seconds, he swiftly refocused on what he had to do before going to sleep.
His optimized mindset wouldn’t let him waste his 5 hours of sleep doing nothing, it would be too much of a waste.
When he eventually returned to his villa and drifted to sleep, he did so cognizant of the fact that his reveal to the world couldn’t have been a more impactful one.
As long as the wall break scenario really happened…
‘I’ll be able to speak on equal footing with anyone… Even noble grade 5 powerhouses like Hakan or Lenia…’
On this thought, darkness swallowed him up, and instinctively he knew that even if a spiritual killer came for him, he wouldn’t go down.
His reveal hadn’t been a mindless one.
It was just a logical consequence of his endless potential.
An inevitable consequence.
