Hey! Thank you for the wonderful story you've got going here, i hope to see more of it and i wish you all the best! I do have a question in mind (uhh so many actually but I'll stick to 2 haha),
1.will we see more of alda in the future, even if she's not going to be a character that travels with them, atleast once or twice before the end of this arc? NGL a female character among boys and men was a relief to read about.
2. I guess this might be more of a spoiler question so you don't have to answer it if you don't want to but will our Chester and Damien have another travel companion in the future? Temporary or permanent? I don't need definitive answers xD a 'maybe, probably or who knows' would do as well haha.
A:
1. Alda's definitely someone I haven't shown a lot of love for so far. But her time to shine is coming soon. I don't have any current plans on making her a a travel companion, because her character is the type to stay in one place, given her position as the leader of the dwarven military force.

2. Chester and Damien will definitely have more travel companions as the series goes along. But for this book, I've made a point to make it mostly the two of them so far. I wanted to build their dynamic together and have it established before I went around adding more. As of now, I have one permanent companion and one temporary in mind, but they're identities will be kept secret for now ;)

Chester cheating the system is something I like to use sparingly, mostly because giving him something as fraudulent as doubled stat points or equivalent would have him curb-stomping the universe in about twenty chapters. Attempting to exploit the system? Oh, he's definitely sure to eventually. But whether he succeeds or not, that's left for the future ;)
