Leon
Pallus bursts out into laughter as Rose tries and fails to hold back a snicker.
"Yes sir, Leon is the City Lord of Wolfdenn," the receptionist says in an irritated tone.
I get the feeling that Alexa doesn't like Arthur very much.
Then again, I don't like him either.
Arthur repeatedly shifts his gaze between me and the receptionist with shock written all over his face.
I don't feel like dealing with this idiot right now to be honest.
"But..." Arthur begins before cutting off as I ignore him and begin walking towards the stairs.
Seeing me so blatantly ignoring Arthur just makes Pallus laugh even harder.
Shortly after, I hear Aidan and Kat begin following me towards the stairs.
Arthur just stands there in shocked silence as we pass him by and climb the stairs.
Even Alexa cracks a smirk after seeing this.
As we reach the top of the stairs, Arthur can be heard shouting from the entrance hall, "What the hell! How can a commoner become the City Lord of a Dungeon City!"
Alexa can be heard calmly saying to him, "We aren't in a kingdom right now, so if anyone is a commoner here, then it would be you, who has absolutely no place within this city."
The two continue arguing as we walk down the hall to Damien's office.
Meanwhile, running footsteps can be heard from behind us.
I turn my head to see Pallus running down the hall towards us with a bright smile on his face.
"I would have kicked him out of the mountains if I were you," Pallus says with a snicker.
I continue down the hall towards Damien's office while saying, "That would just cause needless trouble. No matter how stupid the guy is, he is still the son of a Lady. Banishing him from my lands would just cause needless friction between me and Lady Fox."

"He's right, Pallus," Kat says as Aidan nods his head in agreement.
Pallus lets out one last laugh before saying, "True, but you have to admit that it would be hilarious, and well deserved."
He's right.
It would be pretty funny.
"I didn't realize Alexa could be so scary," Aidan comments from the side.
I turn towards Aidan and ask, "Really? She has always been pretty intense."
Aidan looks back down the hall from whence we came before looking forwards again and saying, "She has always seemed pretty nice to me."
We all stop and turn towards Aidan in surprise.
Aidan continues for a couple of steps before noticing that we stopped. He then turns towards us and sees our faces.
"What?" He asks in confusion.
The rest of us share an amused glance before saying, "Nothing."
We then continue down the hall, leaving a confused Aidan to catch up to us a few moments later.
A shout can be heard from inside Damien's office as we arrive outside the office door.
"Why are you here!" Damien can be heard from the other side of the door.
I turn and share a look with Kat before knocking on the door.
"Who is it now!" Damien shouts from within his office.
"Leon," I say while wondering just who it is that could cause him to get so upset.
The door suddenly opens, revealing Damien and an unknown woman with reddish-orange hair within his office.
The woman is around the same height as Damien and is wearing some pretty fancy looking clothes with an orange color theme to them.
She turns towards us and says, "So this is the City Lord, Leon Raizel?"
I stiffen up a little bit upon noticing the same level of power coming off of this woman as I do Damien.

Actually, she appears to be giving off an even greater level of power than Damien.
The moment the woman sees me, she seems surprised as a brief look of recognition seems to cross her face before it vanishes again the next second, replaced by a mischievous look.
Wait, did she just recognize me?
"I guess it makes some sense that you might be here if your son was," Kat says in a somewhat exhausted tone. As if she had resigned herself to something unpleasant just from being near this woman.
Hold on a second, did she just say 'son'?
"My, what a surprise! To think that I would find little Katherine here!" The woman says, still with that same mischievous look on her face.
My gaze alternates between the two as they continue their conversation.
"Why are you here, Lady Fox?" Kat says in a defeated tone.
Lady Fox?
Isn't that Arthur's mother?
It's a good thing I didn't banish him as Pallus had said before.
Lady Fox glances at me before looking at Kat again and saying, "Why, to meet the new City Lord and make a deal with him!"
This declaration surprises everyone in the room.
Why would a Lady of a nearby kingdom personally visit a Dungeon City just to talk to their City Lord?
Lady Fox turns to me and asks, "So how about it, Leon? Would you like to enter a trade agreement with me?"
I don't say anything for a moment as I study her facial expressions to understand why she wants this before noticing her eyes glance towards my helmet before moving back to my face.
This woman is hard to read.
Despite that though, connections with a Lady could always come in handy, so there isn't a reason to say no.
"Alright, I am willing to talk," I say to her.
Surprisingly, she immediately breaks out into a smile as soon as she hears my answer.
She then says, "Alright, would you mind if I come to your office tomorrow at noon to discuss this?"
I nod my head and say, "Sure."
Lady Fox turns to Damien and says, "It's been nice catching up little Hunter, but I should be heading out now. I think I can hear my son shouting from the first floor."
She then turns to leave without a word.
Damien waits for about a minute before saying, "I hate that woman."
Kat and Pallus both nod their heads in agreement.
"You can never tell what she is thinking. Not only that, but the only thing she seems to care about is herself and her children. To her, everyone else is just someone for her to manipulate and use," Pallus says while looking at the closed door of the office.
A loud shout along with a small crash can be heard from the entrance hall.
"No! I haven't been able to get a diving permit yet!" Arthur can be heard shouting in an obviously upset tone.
I send a confused glance towards the others, only for Damien to say, "She probably just picked him up by the collar and dragged him out of the building."
My mouth drops open in wordless surprise.
She what?

Ursus Ex Machina
Ozzy was a man of the wild. Raised in a remote village atop the world's mightiest mountain, he'd been taught to respect and revere the natural world. The realm he was born into had been there long before him, and it would remain there long after him. Sure, there was the occasional madman who threatened to destroy it, but such boasts were always empty. No one individual was actually capable of demolishing this beautiful blue-and-green ball Ozzy called home. No matter what terrible magics these villains wielded, they were incapable of causing permanent harm to the environment. Even if the planet was completely devastated, it would recover. Life would find a way to flourish, same as it always had. That was what Ozzy believed from the bottom of his heart, so he never once felt the need to save the world he loved. After all, it was never truly in danger. The world would be fine no matter what. The people were a wee bit endangered, but that was another story altogether. However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.

Magic is Overrated
This is a side project I am starting for my own amusement. It's not meant to be serious but it can be. I'll post a chapter when I feel like and chapter lengths simply depend on how much I want to write. I don't even know where the story will go so you can say it will be an adventure for myself and any readers. This story is how I relieve my stress and cynical ideals so you have been warned.Synopsis: When the entire world is run on principals of magic and every person born a mage one boy can't help but despise it. This story is about his struggles and failures with his """"shitty"""" magic. He also is a member of a high ranking noble house filled with freaks. This can only go horribly wrong.Warning: Crude language and sexual situations. Along with crazy mishaps.
