Another flight of pterodactyls sped towards the ground.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

The one on the left fell.

“Cha ching, baby!”

BAM! BAM! BAM!

“I’m so good!”

BAM! BAM! Click.

“Oh s..”

Agent Tina went flying, bouncing along the ground as the pterodactyl swooped past.

Mr. Dapper Tiger ran on all fours, leaping on top of a triceratops and then pushing off into the sky.

And then flew into the ground as he collided with a Tyrannosaurus’s tail.

Londyn grit her teeth and ducked as a raptor pounced over head.

“Falcon! We’re being overrun, we need air support now!”

She swung her grav-cannon around and fired another bolt.

Clouds gathered overhead. Wind began to blow, picking up dust and ashes. Snow began to fall within the gales.

The Icy Falcon descended from the sky, cape held out.

“The Jurassic Cemetary, gives way for an ICE AGE!”

With an echoing cry, Icy Falcon spread his cape as far as he could. Frozen winds picked up to gale force speeds. Raptors blew away from heroes on the ground. Theropods bowed their heads to the ground and triceratops tried to dig in with their feet. Pterodactyls went spiraling about, at the mercy of the mighty winds. Icy daggers and hail the size of cars descended upon the saurian hordes.

And then a dark shadow passed overhead.

Icy Falcon grunted as he flew from the sky. The wind and the ice died down. The hordes began to move once more.

Icy Falcon found himself twisted with a Quetzalcoatlus. The pair soared across the sky, a ball of muscle and leather vying for control. The dinosaurs on the ground resumed their assault.

Londyn grit her teeth, charging another gravity bomb. She let it soar into the neck of a sauropod, the beast crying as it was crushed by the incredible force.

To her side Captain Hot Devil launched a fireball at a raptor pouncing on Master Elegant Katana, then thrusting out his other hand to send a jet of flame at a charging triceratops.

“Director! We can’t hold out much longer! We have to fall back!”

“We can’t! We have to give them more time!”

“Director!”

Londyn looked to her side.

A massive tail filled her vision.

Londyn grunted as she bounced along the ground.

Finally she came to a stop. She groaned and lifted her head.

Mr. Dapper Tiger let out a roar as he vanished under a pack of raptors.

The Elegant Katana was knocked to the side by a charging triceratops.

Agent Tina leaned on the Gray Slayer’s shoulder as they fired into an approaching horde.

Master Mammoth Owl fell from the sky, covered in pterodactyls.

Aqua Mage fell to the ground as a pachycelphalosaurus smashed through a shield of water.

Tesla Titan let lightning fly as a Tyrannosaurus picked him up in its jaws.

Icy Falcon was nowhere to be seen.

A triceratops charged towards Captain Hot Devil’s back while he was occupied with a Spinosaurus.

They were out of time.

The dragon twisted its bony neck and bit down on the glowing triceratops. The triceratops let out a cry and vanished into sparks. Then the dragon’s head flew back with might crash as Dragontooth landed before it. It pulled back its right arm and swiped forward, sending her flying through the air once more.

Wonder Knight ran as Dragontooth flew past. The dragon’s neck was glowing once more. Wonder Knight leapt into the sky as the dragon turned its head down and opened its mouth.

BAM

Wonder Knight landed an uppercut on the dragon’s lower jaw, sending its head shooting towards the roof. A purple light filled the room as the purple flames spread across the roof.

A pink Tyrannosaurus thundered through the room, clamping the dragon’s neck between its jaws with a mighty roar. The dragon cried as it fell backwards, struggling to get its feet under it as the theropod pushed.

And then a wicked barb swung around and pierced the back of the Tyrannosaur’s head.

The skeletal dragon rose to its feet, ghostly eyes now locked on Pink Star. Its neck began to glow.

Wonder Knight cried and leapt into the air.

The dragon backhanded him into the wall.

And let out a blast of purple flame.

Dragontooth landed in front of Pink Star and took a deep breath. She opened her mouth.

Red and purple flames clashed in the air with a roar. The room was filled with light and heat.

Then the purple flames stopped midair and began to vibrate.

The dragon let out a cry as it was covered in a red inferno.

Dragontooth shut her mouth, then grabbed Pink Star and leapt to the side so Chronolock could release the purple blaze. As they stood to their feet Wonder Knight came up beside them while Voidspeaker and the Gentle Gloom floated behind.

“What do we do? Nothing we have can stop it!”

Dragontooth frowned.

“Maybe we don’t have to.”

“What are you saying?”

Dragontooth pointed down the room, where another set of doors was shut.

“You kids make a break for the door.”

“What about the dragon?”

Dragontooth pounded her palm with her fist.

“Leave that to me.”

“We should stick together! We can all make a break for it, Chrono can lock it up for a bit.”

“No good kid. Last thing we need is to get caught between this thing and the big bad on either side. Get going, we’re running out of time. The other heroes down there need us now.”

The Gentle Gloom placed a hand on Wonder Knight’s shoulder.

“Let it go kid, she’s a bit of a bother when she gets like this. Won’t be happy till she wins this, its a dragon thing.”

Wonder Knight bit his teeth.

“Don’t worry, I’ll watch her back. It’s not our first rodeo you know?”

Wonder Knight slowly nodded as the dragon strode out of the red blaze.

“Be careful.”

Dragontooth let out a grin.

“Just go already you idiots!”

And she jumped towards the dragon.

Aurora Legion nodded to each other and ran for the door as a green and black beam shot forward. Wonder Knight reached the door and pushed with all his might.

“It won’t budge!”

Voidspeaker raised his hand and shot forward a beam. He furrow his brow and began to grunt, raising his second hand. His eyes began to glow and he began to chant in indecipherable words.

“EXPERIENCE NOTHINGNESS!”

The beam grew until the air was humming.

And they heard the sound of glass shattering.

The doors swung open.

The Necrosaurus awaits.

Londyn groaned as she lifted her head. Heroes overwhelmed on the ground. Flying heroes falling from the sky. Everywhere, claws and teeth. A triceratops about to run Captain Hot Devil down.

They were out of time.

Londyn groaned and reached for her wrist.

But they weren’t out of options.

She pressed a button.

A humming sound thrummed through the air. Pebbles and ashes began to rise all around. The humming grew, louder and higher. And then…

A sound like thunder.

A wave of purple light passed through the mountains.

Dinosaurs on top of heroes began to float in the air. Charging triceratops smashed into the ground. Pterodactyls and a Quetzalcoatlus fell like rocks from the sky, throwing up dust as they slammed into the ground. Theropods fell over, no longer able to balance on their twin legs. Sauropods cried as their necks fell to the ground.

Every hero picked themselves off the ground. Captain Hot Devil turned around and his eyes widened.

“Where…did you get that?”

Back by the landed helicopters, a metal cylinder rested on the ground, a second cylinder held above with a short metal scaffold. Between them floated a silver polyhedron with glowing blue circles on its sides. The completed Mass Suppressor now thrummed with power, pulsing with purple light.

Londyn smirked.

“Looks like I’m the sole distributor of the laws of physics now, eh Captain?”

Captain Hot Devil’s eyes grew even wider.

“You…you were…”

Londyn stepped forward and picked up her fallen grav-cannon.

“We can reminisce on old times later, Captain. Right now, we have a battle to win and a world to save.”

The heroes began to gather behind her.

“International League of Superheroes, attack!”

The Necrosaurus lay back against his throne, hand on his chin as he furrowed his brow. He hummed as he pondered.

“The exaltation of extinction? Nah. The dinosaurs of death? No good. Oh how about this? Ahem, you who grew drunk on the blood of the dinosaurs shall now drown in it. Yes, I like that.”

A minion wrapped in black robes worked on the camera and filming equipment in the room.

“Technically sir, it’s not really the blood of the dinosaurs. Mostly algae and plants, so not blood at all really.”

The Necrosaurus threw a skull at the man.

“Shut up, Carl! Way to take the fun out of everything.”

A sound like glass shattering.

The doors slammed open.

“It’s over Necrosaurus! Aurora Legion will put a stop to you, here and now!”

The Necrosaurus grinned.

“Carl, start recording. It’s time to show the world what it means to defy the Necrosaurus!”
