I groaned as I woke up to noise coming from the bathroom.
I shifted in the bed, annoyed that I have been woken up.
I whined and put the covers over my head.
"Sorry, y/n." A familiar voice who sounded like my boyfriend spoke up.
I took off the sheets from my face and looked at Billy.
"Come back here. Get some more sleep." I looked up at him with tired eyes, still adjusting to the light.
Billy was thinking about it.
"It's Tuesday, you don't have work." I frowned, looking up at him.
"Fine but only for a little." Billy surrendered.
I grinned hearing this and scooted to make space.
Billy crawled into the bed and I soon as he did I wrapped my arms around his waist and nuzzled my face into his chest.
Billy chuckled a bit and slithered his arms around me.
Billy adjusted the blanket onto us and rested his head on mine.
I closed my eyes, feeling comfort from his warmth.
I slowly drifted back to sleep.
I woke up to Billy not there.
I frowned in annoyance once again.
I decided to fully wake up and stand up.
As soon as I opened the door, I was taken aback by the wonderful smell that filled my nostrils.
It was my favorite breakfast.
"Billy?" I called out, walking toward the kitchen.
"Oh, you're awake." Billy smiled as he set a plate/bowl down on the table that was filled with (favorite breakfast).
"Thank you, Billy." I flashed a smile, placing a kiss on his cheek before taking a seat.
His lips curled up into a gentle smile, sitting down.
He handed me a glass of water as we began to eat.
"You look exhausted." Billy laughed a little.

"I am," I replied blankly as I continued to eat.
He smiled and continued to eat as well.
"I'll do the dishes," Billy states, seizing my empty plate/bowl.
"No... I'll do it." I stood up rubbing my eyes and gently moving him aside.
"No no it's fine, I'll do them." Billy urged, I gave him a deathly glare which made his eyes widen in surrender.
"Ok ok." Billy put his hands up, walking away from the sink with a playful grin on his face.
I began washing the dishes as he cleaned the table.
After he cleaned up, he came up from behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, watching me clean.
Billy rested his head on my shoulder and closed his eyes.
Once I finished the dishes, Billy let go of me.
"What do you want to do today?" Billy questioned.
I turned to him, with a smile.
"Stay home all day with you."
I say, looking at him for an answer.
"That'd be nice." He smiled, placing a kiss on my cheek.

Savage Hunters
Giant monsters roam the land Civilization is frozen in a savage age. For the beast slayer Alden, power and survival are one and the same. The ancient evil that once ravaged his village and murdered his ancestors has returned. At the same time, politics hurls Alden and his crew into gladiator pit battles for control of the throne. When Alden takes possession of a cursed sword promising untold power, the hunter is determined to save his people by slaying every giant monster standing between him and the throne. But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.

The Arcanist Seer
An eye of which sees everything beyond the skies and heavens saw an embodying fate with reek of blood and greed. He who sees the future and yet is restrained by his own shackles of his destiny. An eye that serves a purpose but nothing in exchange for his freedom. Will he remain as a tool of his adversary or escape from his own shackles of fate? This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.
