《Cheat List || Taekook》Epilogue

"Are we there yet?" Taehyung excitedly spoke as he watched out the window of Jungkook's car. His eyes were displaying an excited look and his lips were curved into a big smile. Today was finally the day!
"Calm down baby. It's another ten minutes before we get there." Jungkook answered as he laughed softly, his eyes focussed on the road but an amused look clearly visible in them. Ohh how he loved to surprise his fiancé.
That's right, fiancé. Jungkook had proposed to Taehyung a few months ago during their 4th anniversary. The brunette had done his absolute best into making the day one to never forget and by the tears that had streamed down Taehyung's cheeks upon Jungkook proposing to him he would deem his mission to be a succes.
The more Jungkook thought about it the more he couldn't believe it. 4 years had flown by as if it had been nothing. Four amazing years he had been blessed to spend with Taehyung. A lot had happened in those years yet their relationship still felt as exciting as it had first been.
In those four years Taehyung had managed to make himself, with a little help from Jin of course, into one of the top ten artists of Korea. His career had been skyrocketing from the start and in the shortest amount of time Taehyung had managed to get a huge fanbase who supported him in everything he did. Of course Jungkook couldn't be more proud of his boyfriend. After the shit that had happend at the voice he had truly wished for the grey haired boy to have a second chance at everything. One were he wasn't restricted to some stupid rules. Luckily for the both of them Jin had granted Taehyung that chance.
Speaking about the voice, Rosé ended up winning the show. It was something Jungkook had been very proud of yet he somehow felt a little sad too. The brunette had been able to help Taehyung avoid the killer contract that the one who won the show got yet he hadn't been able to do the same for Rosé. The pink haired girl was strong however and thus Jungkook had been happy beyond imagination when he heard about her signing a contract with Jinhit Entertainment a few weeks ago. Her four year contract had finally ended and thus she was free to go wherever she'd wanted. Lucky for them she had chosen Jin's company.

"I hate surprises, you know that." Taehyung spoke as a pout appeared on his lips. Jungkook laughed at his boyfriend's antics and softly shook his head while an amused look was visible in his eyes. "Your face a few seconds ago disagrees Tae. Just hold on a few more minutes okay? We are almost there."
Taehyung sighed harshly while he nodded. "When we get back home you're gonna pay for this you know." The grey haired boy spoke as he turned his head towards his boyfriend's, a sly look visible on his face. Ohh how he already loved to take a little revenge on his boyfriend when they get back at their apartment. Right after signing the contract at Jinhit entertainment four years ago Taehyung had moved into Jungkook's apartment on request of the younger. According to Jungkook he couldn't stand not having the older boy around 24/7 and thus the two of them had agreed to live in Jungkook's apartment together.
"Can't wait." Jungkook answered, an amused tone lacing his voice and the end of his lips curled up into a grin. Ohh how he loved to tease Taehyung. The older had a habit of always reacting exactly how Jungkook expected him to and thus every time he managed to make Taehyung do exactly what he thought he was gonna do it felt like the brunette had won some sort of inner battle only he knew about.
After a ten minute drive Jungkook finally pulled the car up to a large farm. Taehyung looked a bit confused but he got out of the car nonetheless and followed Jungkook, who was already walking up to the front door. "What are we doing here? This doesn't look familiar?"
Jungkook laughed before he rang the door bell. "That's because it isn't. We are here to buy you something." Jungkook announced as he took a step back from the front door of the farm, waiting patiently for someone to open up. Taehyung raised both his eyebrows at the younger's answer and looked at him with big eyes. "But I didn't ask for anything?"

"I know, but you're going to love this anyway." The brunette answered, a confident tone lacing his voice. Every single answer Jungkook gave Taehyung only managed to make make the older male more and more confused and he slowly shook his head as he looked more confused than he had ever been before.
Soon enough a old woman opened up the front door. A friendly smile was covering her face and she immediately waved both males over to follow her inside her house. "Welcome back again Jungkook! I see you've brought a very handsome boy with you today." The woman spoke as she lead both males through half her house.
"I did! I thought he'd love to meet our new housemate for the first time." The brunette answered politely, cleary feeling at ease with the woman Taehyung hadn't ever met before. She came across as if she didn't recognise Jungkook and Taehyung and thus the older one of the two guessed that she didn't watch tv that much, something that somehow made the grey haired boy instantly feel a little more at ease. At least they weren't here for some kind of dumb interview or something.
Soon enough the old lady stopped before a wooden door. Barks could be heard through it and slowly realisation began to dawn upon Taehyung while his eyes grew big. He instantly jerked his head towards his fiancé while an excited look began to cover his features. "Did you buy us a puppy?"
Jungkook softly laughed before he nodded. "Took you long enough baby. Thought you'd never figure it out." The brunette answered and before he could coprehent what was happening Taehyung had dashed forward and wrapped his arms around the younger's neck. Jungkook was quick to wrap his own around Taehyung's waist while he softly pressed a kiss against the other's cheek.
Flashes of Jungkook and Taehyung's first meeting roamed through the older's mind. He could easily recall how nervous he was to even stand close to Jungkook, let alone say a word to him. The thought of meeting Jungkook all those years ago was in fact what almost made Taehyung decide not to sign up for the voice. The fear of meeting someone as famous and talented as Jungkook had made Taehyung so insecure, even when the boy back then had been his biggest idol. Back then the younger had looked like he was far out of reach for Taehyung and look at them now. They were engaged and on the verge of getting a puppy.

The Complete Alchemyst book 1
You've heard of superheroes, seen them flying across the sky, destroying great swaths of cities and ending countless innocent lives in order to defeat great evils and world-spanning threats and sell lots of sponsorships and merchandising opportunities. This is a story about the guy that is not those heroes. A supervillain in a world where making the right friends and political contacts is what separates the good guys from the bad. The Alchemyst is a story about a normal guy in a crazy world that spends his time trying to follow his dreams and conscience, working on new potions, thinking about girls, and lifting heavy shit, while trying to stay under the radar of the superheroes, supervillains, and governments that want what he can do. And occasionally turning them into makeshift melee weapons. If you enjoy The Boys, the Aberrant roleplaying game, Mystery Men, Trashy romances, Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, or SAW you may enjoy this book. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people.
