《Cheat List || Taekook》Chapter 49

With a big smile on his face Taehyung came off the stage. After the duet with Jungkook the grey haired boy had sang his very own song which Namjoon had written for him. Even though the words he sang weren't made up by himself they still fitted him really well and he had been more than proud to be able to show off his hard work to the audience.
Scenery could easily be described as a masterpiece if you asked Taehyung. Namjoon had really outdone himself with this song and thus it made Taehyung somewhat sad that after tonight no one would ever hear it again. The grey haired boy wasn't stupid, tonight was his last night in the competition. There was no way the management of the Voice would let Jungkook choose him to go to the finale of the show.
Of coure Taehyung was a bit sad his dream of becoming an idol was officially over. Singing was something the grey haired boy just loved to do and Scenery was a song which he loved and would have been happy to release as his very first own single. However none of it was worth it if it meant giving up Jungkook. Jungkook was his number one priority and he was ready to give up everything he had for the younger.
As Taehyung came off the stage Rosé had already been waiting for him. The pink haired girl looked happy as always and she smiled brightly as she saw Taehyung. A soft sigh left the grey haired boy's mouth and he quickly walked over to the smaller girl before he embraced her, mouthing a quick 'sorry' in her ear.
Rosé however just hugged him tightly while she looked at him with a bright look on her face. "Don't be TaeTae! I'm happy for you both, I totally ship you guys together!" The pink haired girl spoke, an enthusiastic tone lacing her voice.
Taehyung softly laughed as he heard the girls words. She was without a doubt one of the sweetest persons in the world and Taehyung had truly gotten lucky to be standing in the semi finals with her. Rosé was pure gold in his opinion and the grey haired boy right now hoped that she would come out of this competition as the winner. Even after finding out that her coach had been in a relationship with one of his team members she still didn't care. The only thing the girl did was being supportive.

"Thank you, really." The grey haired boy answered as he let go of the girl's petite body, a small smile visible on his lips. Rosé smiled back before she suddenly grabbed Taehyung's hand and began to shake it softly. "Now tell me all the details!" The girl said and a confused look began to form onto Taehyung's face. "Details?"
Rosé sighed dramatically while a big smile was visible on her lips. "You know, is Jungkook a good kisser? How long have you guys been together? Did you two do the dirty yet? We are friends TaeTae. We need to share these details!" The pink haired girl spoke and softly Taehyung began to laugh while he shook his head. Rosé was definitely something.
While another contestant finished up singing their song Rosé and Taehyung spend their time together, catching up a bit and just enjoying their moment together. During this competition the two of them had become close friends and had even promised to keep seeing each other after the competition had ended. Taehyung literally couldn't have wished for a beter teammate.
It didn't take long before Hoseok called everyone up the stage again. It was time for the judges to finally announce who they wanted to represent their team in the finale. Taehyung sighed softly before he stood up from the chair he was sitting on while Rosé did the same. A sad smile was visible on her face and she quickly grabbed Taehyung's hand before she entertwined their fingers together. "Don't let your head hang low Tae. What you and Jungkook did today was brave and you should be proud of it."
Taehyung slightly smiled while he nodded. He was proud of the statement he and Jungkook had made. However this journey had been life changing for him and the fact that it really was about to end somehow saddened the grey haired boy a lot. Ohh how he wished for things to have just worked out. He would have loved to enjoy this competition a bit longer.
With a heavy sigh Taehyung walked up the stage, a fake smile plastered on his face and his hand still being held by Rosé. The pink haired girl knew exactly what Taehyung needed right now and he was more than happy for her to reach the finale. It just sucked that they couldn't do it together.

Before Taehyung knew it Rosé had dragged him up the stage and they were now standing right behind Hoseok. The host of the show was calling each team forward one by one, starting with Yoongi's team and ending with Jungkook's. Normally Taehyung would have hated the fact that Jungkook's team would be last since he wouldn't be able to handle the nerves inside of his system. This time however he was glad that he could enjoy a few more minutes of this amazing show and the amazing people he had met here. Ohh how he would miss this.
"And now it's up to team Jungkook. Rosé and Taehyung, please stand beside me." Hoseok spoke into his microphone and Taehyung let out a deep sigh before he walked up to the left side of Hoseok while Rosé took his right side. "That was quite the show you both gave tonight. Rosé your vocals are outstanding and Taehyung, let's just say you gave a performance no one will ever forget." Hoseok began to talk to the two of them, dragging the show a bit. "What do you think about them both Jungkook?"
Jungkook stood up from his red chair, a small smile playing at his lips. "Ever since the beginning of this season both Taehyung and Rosé have caught my eye. There's no denying both are amazing singers and performers and it would be a shame to even send one home tonight since they both deserve that spot in the finale." Jungkook spoke before he focussed his gaze on Rosé. "Rosé words can't even describe the power you radiate. I've never met someone so cheerfull and bright yet determined to fullfill their dreams. You've always worked hard and I know that you'd give it your all until the end. You're a true fighter and a great learner and it has been a true honor to work together with you."
Jungkook then focussed on Taehyung. Both boy's gazes met and immediately a small loving smile began to play at Jungkook's lips. "And then we have my dear Taehyung, who I've grown to love as far more than only a member of my team. You've always worked hard and your voice is the most unique I've ever heard. You're a great singer and even if you're sometimes a bit unsure about the things you do you somehow always manage to leave a little sparkle wherever you go. I love you with my whole heart and even though we both know that some people aren't that happy with our relationship I don't care. There is no one who can keep us apart."
Upon hearing the words Jungkook said Taehyung's eyes immediately began to tear up while a smile broke out on his face. Ohh how he loved the brunette. Jungkook had shown Taehyung what the definition of true love meant and how important it was that the both of them treated each other as equals. Their relationship had grown stronger than ever before and no one would be able to come between them.
"I need a name Jungkook. Who do you want to represent your team in the finals?" Hoseok spoke and immediately a deep sigh left Jungkook's mouth as he closed his eyes briefly. "If it were up to me there wouldn't be made a choice today. However I know I'm not going to get of the hook." Jungkook spoke before he smiled slightly at Taehyung, an apologetic look visible on his face. Taehyung smiled back slightly, a sad feeling suddenly engulfing him completely. This was it, the end of his journey. Never again will he sing a single song in front of an audience. His dream was over and while getting Jungkook instead of fulfilling his dream was more than worth it still the grey haired boy silently cried inside when the next words left Jungkook's mouth.
