《Cheat List || Taekook》Chapter 40

Ever since their last 'practice' things were going great between Jungkook and Taehyung. The both of them of course were busy with their own lives but spend every single minute of free time together. Both boys longed for the company of the other. To Jungkook he couldn't have been happier with how things were going right now. Ever since Taehyung had caught his eye during the blind auditions the brunette had felt a spark between the two of them and the fact that their relationship had taken such a beautiful turn made him the happiest boy alive.
Taehyung on the other hand was happy too, yet a scared feeling was also present inside of him. Of course the grey haired boy loved being with Jungkook more than anything. The younger always managed to make him smile more than anyone had ever done and it had been ages since Taehyung had felt the kind of feelings he was feeling now for someone. Just the mere thought of Jungkook made a smile break out on his face.
However there were also scared feelings present in the older one of the two. Jungkook was a famous idol who surely had a lot of fans. If news about their newfound feelings for each other came out to the public then things could go quite bad for both Jungkook and Taehyung. The brunette's fans would surely hate the boy who managed to steal their ohh so beloved idol away and Taehyung definitely wasn't ready for the hate he surely would receive. Also the fact that Jungkook was still Taehyung's coach made the grey haired boy worry a lot. Jungkook would definitely be seen as someone who abused his power of being a coach in order to seduce Taehyung and while Taehyung knew that wasn't what had happened at all he still worried about the headlines their feelings for each other would cause.
"Hey Tae, don't squeeze your eyebrows together like that. Otherwise you might get wrinkels." Jimin jokingly said as he send a wink Taehyung's way. Immediately the grey haired boy shook his head softly, trying to get rid of all the negative thoughts in his head. Right now the boy was sitting on a big couch in Yoongi's apartment. Both him and Jungkook got invited by Yoongi and Jimin to hang out since they'd barely seen each other lately and of course the pair had instantly agreed.
Jungkook, who was sitting right next to Taehyung, softly wrapped an arm around his lover's shoulder while squeezing his shoulder. "Try to relax okay. Whatever it is that you're worrying about isn't worth it, okay?" The brunette spoke, a loving tone lacing his voice and a sincere look visibly in his brown eyes. Taehyung smiled back at the younger and softly nodded his head while a soft sigh left his mouth. Jungkook was absolutely right, worrying wasn't going to do him any good and he should rather focus on what was happening right now instead of worrying about what might happen in the future.
Currently the four of them were watching a movie and by the looks of it none of them were really into it. Taehyung had been lost in his mind way too much for the past half hour, Jungkook had been playing games on his phone and Jimin and Yoongi had been busy with each other. The blonde and the mint haired rapper kept 'accidentally' touching the other one, only for them to send each other lovey dovey glances right after.
Yoongi and Jimin had been in a relationship for two days now and it was as clear as crystal to anyone who came across them that they were completely in love. The two of them literally had only eyes for each other and kept exchanging those loving glances. Taehyung smiled looking at the two, being genuinely happy for his best friend. Jimin had been crushing on Yoongi for forever now and the fact that his best friend had finally gotten together with the boy he liked so much made Taehyung feel happy for the two of them.

Almost halfway through the boring movie suddenly a lot of wet noises began to sound through the room and immediately Taehyung raised his eyebrows before he looked at Jungkook, trying to figure out where the noise was coming from. Jungkook however seemed just as confused as Taehyung was and slowly the two of them turned their heads towards where Yoongi and Jimin where sitting.
The couple didn't seem to notice that they had caught the attention of their two friends since both their eyes were closed while they were exploring each other's mouths. Taehyung's mouth fell wide open upon the sight and a rosy color began to decorate his cheeks. Had these two no shame? They surely must know Jungkook and Taehyung were both in the room too right?
Jungkook laughed softly before he nudged the side of his lover and motioned for Taehyung to follow him as he stood up from the couch he was sitting on. "I think those two need some alone time, don't you think?" The brunette spoke as he grabbed Taehyung's hand in his own and began to pull the older towards the front door of the apartment of his best friend. There was no way in hell Jungkook and Taehyung would wait for Jimin and Yoongi to finally kick them out in order to do whatever they wanted to do. Nope, Jungkook knew damn well how to take a hint and this was most definitely a big one.
Taehyung looked confused as Jungkook pulled him out of the apartment and into the elevator but he didn't question the younger's antics. If Jungkook thought it was time for the both of them to leave then it was probably for the best to do exactly that. Besides it didn't look like either Jimin or Yoongi was going to say anything to the other two in the room anyway. Those two only had eyes for each other and somehow that fact made Taehyung smile. As long as his best friend was happy the rest didn't matter anyway.
It didn't take long before Jungkook and Taehyung had reached the basement floor and walked over to the car that was parked there. "So since we have a lot of spare time now, how about I take you on a date? There's this one spot I'd love to show you." Jungkook asked, a hint of nervousness clearly lacing his voice. The brunette quickly pressed the button on his car key to open the doors of his Mercedes before walking over to open the car door on the passenger's side for Taehyung and motioning for him to get in while a small smile was playing at his lips.
Immediately an excited feeling began to form into Taehyung's chest upon hearing the other ask him out and he immediately began to nod his head enthusiastically. "Yeah sure. I'd love to!" The grey haired boy exclaimed happily while getting into the car, his face showing a bright smile. In his past relationships the singer had never gone on much dates and while he and Jungkook weren't even officially together yet he surely did love all the effort the younger did for him. It made Taehyung feel so damn special.
"Great. I can't wait for you to see it." Jungkook answered as he closed the door of the passenger's seat and walked over before getting into the driver's seat himself. "Don't tell Yoongi I said this but I don't mind leaving those two up there by themselves if it means I get to spend more time with you alone." Jungkook spoke as he locked eyes with Taehyung, a genuine look clearly visible in his eyes.

Immediately after Taehyung's heart began to skip a beat and he looked at Jungkook with a loving look on his face before he quickly leaned towards the other's cheek and pressed a kiss on it. "I feel the same way Kookie. You'll always be my first choice."
Jungkook smiled at that and he started the car before he began to drive towards their destiny. The whole ride Taehyung was looking outside his window and it didn't take long before the busy streets of Seoul got exchanged for the much calmer outer skirts of the city. Taehyung looked at every single house they passed with big eyes while wondering where the hell they were going. The grey haired boy wasn't really the type to drive somewhere he had never been before, however if Jungkook was taking him here then it should be okay. The younger would always make sure Taehyung was at ease with what they were doing and thus the singer trusted the younger completely.
"We're here." Jungkook spoke after a twenty minute drive. The younger of the two had parked his car underneath a big tree on top of a hill. A small wooden bench was standing right underneath the tree and Taehyung looked at it with big eyes before getting out of the car and following Jungkook towards the bench. This place wouldn't be anything special if it wasn't for the view. From here the two of them had a perfect view of the busy capital city of Korea, the many lights illuminating the night and giving of a perfect resemblance of how Seoul truly could called a city that never sleeps.
"Wow." The grey haired boy spoke as he sat down next to Jungkook on the old wooden bench, his eyes big while watching the perfect view in front of him. This was without a doubt the best view he had ever seen. The whole scene in front of him was even better than the view you'd have inside of Jungkook's apartment. This looked like a scene straight out of a movie.
"It's pretty isn't it?" Jungkook softly said as his eyes were focussed on Taehyung, a happy look displayed in them. The grey haired boy's eyes had grown big and sparkles were shining inside of them. "I've never shown this place to anyone else before. Not even Yoongi."
Taehyung immediately looked to the side upon hearing those words, only to be met with the younger's eyes almost instantly. "Really?" The singer asked his lover, a surprised look clearly visible on his face.
Jungkook nodded softly before smiling at Taehyung and breaking eye contact with him in order to look at the view in front of him. "When I started to get famous people began to recognise me more and more on the streets." Jungkook softly said, watching the million lights illuminating the busy city of Seoul in the dark. "It scared me at first."
Taehyung nodded softly, completely understanding where Jungkook was coming from. The boy's whole life revolved around his career and he couldn't just go to supermarket without being recognised by his fans.
"One day I got attacked by a crazy fangirl when I was walking in the park. She just saw me and started to scream before tackeling me to the ground." The brunette then spoke while laughing softly at the memory. The girl had been at least two heads shorter than he was and yet she had managed to throw him off of his feet, literally.
"After that I decided for myself that I couldn't live my normal life anymore. I couldn't walk around the park during my free time or go shopping without people seeing me and losing their shit." Jungkook continued to tell while he kept on watching the beautiful view in front of him. "It's not their fault obviously, I probably would have reacted the same way if my idol stood right in front of me but it did make my life quite a bit harder, you know?"
"After that I decided to just drive around in my car in the evening instead of going to a park or mall. At least when I was in my car no one would recognise me." The brunette spoke before tearing his eyes away from the scene in front of him and looking Taehyung straight in his eyes, a loving look clearly visible on his face. "It was then that I found this place. The view absolutely threw me off guard and I instantly fell in love with it, which is why I never showed it to anyone else. I kind of wanted this place to be mine and mine only."
Taehyung softly nodded while looking Jungkook straight in his eyes. The more the brunette told him about how special this place was for him the more special Taehyung began to feel himself. Out of all the people in the world Jungkook had decided to bring him here and show him what he hadn't shown to anyone else before. Jungkook had showed him one of the things he had loved the most for years now and that fact alone made Taehyung feel so damn special.
"Never before have I had the urge to bring anyone here. For me this was something that belonged to me only. Something I didn't want to share with the rest of the world." The coach spoke as he smiled slightly and reached forwards in order to grab Taehyung's hand in his own. "Until I met you."
"You made me wonder how your eyes would sparkle when you'd take in this amazing view. I longed to see the amazed look in your face when I would bring you here and I couldn't stop thinking about kissing you underneath this big tree while we were looking down at all of Seoul, not a single worry present in our minds." Jungkook softly spoke while rubbing his thumb up and down the back of Taehyung's hand in a loving way.
The grey haired boy was listening to all the words that left the younger's mouth with a surprised look on his face. Never before had he thought that him and Jungkook could ever be anything more than coach and contestant and look at the two of them now. Jungkook was completely opening up to him and Taehyung couldn't be more happy about that fact. Maybe the both of them were finally ready for the next step...
"I didn't bring you here for nothing tonight baby. You mean the absolute world to me and just thinking of that beautiful smile of yours brings me pure joy. Tae, wil you be my boyfriend?" The brunette then asked, a hint of nervousity clearly lacing his tone. However Taehyung's smile instantly widened and a few tears began to fill up his sight. This was it. He had been waiting for this moment for ages now and finally it was here.
"Yes! A million times yes!" The grey haired boy answered happily while lunging forward and crashing his lips down on Jungkook's. The younger seemed to be caught off guard slightly but soon regained his balance and began to softly kiss back his boyfriend. A happy feeling was soaring through the both of them and they truly wished for this moment to never end.
