《Cheat List || Taekook》Chapter 21

A soft red blush made it's way onto Taehyung's face as he walked into Jungkook's apartment. The brunette had already been waiting on his teammember and had opened the door for the grey haired boy with a happy yet concerned look on his face. Of course Taehyung wasn't crazy, from the way Jungkook was observing him he knew damn well that the younger was checking him for any signs that Bogum had hurt him.
Jungkook's intuition hadn't been wrong, Bogum had hurt Taehyung yesterday. However it wasn't in the way the younger boy thought that his team member had been hurt by his boyfriend because while the ravenette had indeed been harsh on Taehyung during their intimate moment that wasn't what had hurt the grey haired boy the most. The fact that the moment Taehyung had come outside his boyfriend had been ready to hurt him physically was far more painfull than the hit itself ever could have been and the fact that Jungkook had received the physical pain which was meant for Taehyung was something the older boy deeply regretted.
"Hi Tae! How are you feeling?" Jungkook asked the moment he had made sure he wasn't able to spot any visible bruises on the boy in front of him. Taehyung smiled back at the younger and gave him a reassuring look to confirm what the younger had actually meant with question. "I am completely fine, nothing to worry about." He said and Jungkook softly sighed out of relief.
The idol had been scared to death yesterday that Bogum was going to have his way with Taehyung as soon as the two of them got home. More than anything had Jungkook had had the urge to protect someone as fragile as Taehyung. The boy just didn't deserve all this bullshit according to Jungkook.
"I'm glad about that. Come in." Jungkook answered while a genuine happy smile began to form on his face. The boy then made a gesture for the older to walk in but immediately regretted this action as soon as a painful sting shot in his shoulder. Bogum had hit him on his shoulder yesterday pretty hard and now a nasty purple bruise was decorating his skin there.
Taehyung immediately noticed the pained look on Jungkook's face as the boy motioned for him to come in and he scrunched his eyebrows togheter. "Are you okay?" The grey haired boy quickly asked before he stepped a bit closer to the other boy and looked at him with concern visible on his face.
"Yeah completely fine!" Jungkook lied but Taehyung was quick to slip the younger's oversized black shirt a bit to the side. The older boy inhaled sharply as he eyed the now visible bruise and a feeling of guilt began to pool up in the boy's stomach while he looked at the idol with a regretfull look on his face. It had been his fault that Jungkook was now in pain and he alone was to blame for the fact that the boy now felt uncomfortable everytime he moved his shoulder.
"Kook I am so sorry." Taehyung immediately apologised while not taking his eyes of the painful bruise on the other's shoulder. He felt stupid for letting Jungkook walk with him downstairs yesterday as the grey haired boy could have known judging by the tone his boyfriend had been using that Bogum wasn't going to be friendly to either of them.

However Jungkook was quick to use his other hand and softly grabbed the older boy's chin before slightly forcing the boy to look him in the eyes. "This is not your fault Taehyung so don't you dare apologise for something that you didn't do." The brunette spoke in a serious tone while looking Taehyung straight in his eyes to show him he was death serious about everything he was saying.
"But-" Taehyung tried to say but his sentence got cut of by the younger boy in front of him immediately. "No buts. I chose to step between you and your boyfriend, you didn't ask me to." Jungkook spoke while a small smile began to decorate the boy's face. "Now let's start practicing okay?"
Taehyung softly nodded and looked at the younger with admiration visible in his eyes. Jungkook had always been known for his great looks and talent but many of his fans didn't know how kind and friendly the idol actually was in real life. The fact that Taehyung was one of the few people lucky enough to actually know the boy's true colours made him feel blessed. He wouldn't have wanted to miss out on this oppurtunity at all.
Jungkook soon after removed the fingers on the other's chin before he waved Taehyung over to the couch with his painless arm. Taehyung obviously quickly followed the other further inside his apartment and a small smile began to form onto the boy's face as soon as he saw the practicing equipement already ready to use. Jungkook must have set up everything as soon as Taehyung had agreed on practicing today.
Suddenly a loud ding sounded through the room and a soft red blush began to spread onto Taehyung's cheeks. Crap, he had forgotten to silence his phone before entering Jungkook's apartment. The grey haired boy quickly fished the device out of the pocket of his jeans before flipping on the silence button. He didn't want to deal with his phone constantly bugging the two of them. The boy then softly put his phone on the coffee table in front of the couch before sitting down right next to Jungkook.
Taehyung wasn't normally anyone who would receive a lot texts or calls. The boy wasn't really known as anyone popular or something and the only ones who would actually ever message him where either Jimin, Bogum or Jungkook himself and since the last of the three was actually sitting right next to Taehyung without a phone in his hands it had to be one of the other two.
Taehyung sighed softly while he closed his eyes briefly, guessing it was Bogum that was bugging him again. The older boy wouldn't stop with sending Taehyung all kinds of cheesy texts telling the grey haired boy he was loved so much. The first one had been flattering to the singer, however the 53 texts after that had been annoying as hell.
"Okay so I was thinking about working a bit on your song?" Jungkook spoke and he opened his mouth to say something else but he got interrupted by the buzzing of Taehyung's phone. The grey haired boy's eyes grew wide and he quickly cast his gaze on his phone which was laying on the coffee table. The device buzzed again and Taehyung sighed softly. Either Bogum was slowly becoming really desperate or it was Jimin who was stalking him.

Jungkook noticed Taehyung's attention on the phone and sighed softly, already annoyed by the device. Judging from the way the other boy was looking at his phone he could already tell who it was that wanted the boy's attention and the brunette wasn't in the mood at all to deal with that asshole again.
"Maybe you should just turn your phone off? That way that annoying boyfriend of yours can't interrupt us again." Jungkook then said, trying to make Taehyung understand that they couldn't use someone as annoying as Bogum right now. Of course if it had been anyone other than that annoying pest the younger boy had been completely fine with Taehyung spending all his time texting them. However the fact that this was yet again the one who treated Taehyung as poorly as he did made Jungkook annoyed beyond believe.
Taehyung looked briefly at Jungkook's face only to notice the slightly annoyed look and he quickly nodded. It was as clear as crystal the the brunette didn't like Bogum at all and the fact that it was him who wanted Taehyung's attention probably made the younger loose his patience quickly.
The grey haired boy nodded before he grabbed his phone and began to turn the device off. However as soon as he picked up his phone the device once again buzzed and the familiar name of his best friend popped up on his screen. A slight smile began to form onto Taehyung's face as he read Jimin's messages before he turned his face towards Jungkook and explained to him what was so funny.
"It's Jimin, my best friend." Taehyung spoke before he turned his phone screen towards his coach who immediately looked relaxed again. The brunette leaned a bit closer before he began to read through the texts the other boy had been sending Taehyung.
Tae where are you I am bored?
Yaaa!! Answer me you prick!
KIM TAEHYUNG!
I swear I don't care who you are with I will hunt their ass down if you don't answer me right now!
A soft laugh immediately left Jungkook's mouth, amused by the other boy who he hadn't met yet. The brunette then took Taehyung's phone before taking a picture of of him and Taehyung together and sending it to Jimin before quickly sending a 'I'd like to see you try;) After it.
Almost instantly Taehyung's phone buzzed again and Jimin's name popped up on the screen again.
Ohh god shit sorry! I didn't know he was with you...tell Tae to have fun and not drool too much!
As soon as that message popped up the screen Taehyung's eyes went big and he sighed softly before hiding his face in his hands out of embarrasement. Leave it up to his best friend to say weird stuff like that in front of someone like Jungkook.
Jungkook laughed softly before he softly grabbed both Taehyung's hands and removed them from the boy's face, revealing the cute blush that was decorating his cheeks. The younger tilted his head slightly before locking eyes with Taehyung and letting go of his hands. "Your best friend is quite a handfull isn't he? Jimin was his name right?"
Taehyung nodded before the familiar face of Jimin began to fill his thoughts. Calling the boy a handfull would be an understatement but Taehyung loved him with all his heart. The boy had absolutely no shame and he always pushed Taehyung to his limit. However the blonde boy was also the one who had always been there for him and wouldn't ever judge him. Jimin might be a bit extra sometimes but that didn't matter at all to the grey haired boy.
"He's worth it though. He's always there for me when I need him and he will support me no matter what." Taehyung spoke before a smile began to decorate his face again. Jungkook looked at Taehyung with a smile on his own face before he nodded. "Can you tell me a bit more about him? He sounds like a fun person to be around."
"He is, if you can get over his obsession for Yoongi." Taehyung spoke before he softly laughed. Jimin did have a big ass obsession with the rapper and he would talk about the mint haired boy any chance he could get. "He literally won't shut up about it you know."
Jungkook laughed at that and smiled before an idea popped up in the younger boy's head. "You know, Yoongi and me are hanging out tomorrow night in my apartment. You and Jimin can come too if you'd like?" Jungkook then offered the older boy while a friendly tone was lacing his voice. The brunette liked to be around Taehyung a lot and he was sure that the other two boys would definitely make his and Yoongi's night much more intresting than it would be with just the two of them.
As soon as Jungkook said those words Taehyung's eyes grew big and he immediately looked at Jungkook with big eyes. "Wait, really?" The older asked, a shocked tone lacing his voice. Never had the grey haired boy thought he would get invited to not only hang out with Jungkook but with Yoongi as well. This surely must be a dream right?
"Yeah of course! The more the merrier and besides I love to watch how Yoongi handles fans, he always gets so flustered." Jungkook confessed before he smiled at Taehyung with a fond look on his face. He really did care about the older boy and knowing that Taehyung was spending time with him and Yoongi meant that he was away from his shitty boyfriend.
"Okay! I'll text Jimin that I'll spend time with him tomorrow then!" Taehyung answered enthusiastically before he grabbed his phone again and immediately began to bussily type on it. Jungkook looked at the action with the fond look still on his face.
