《Cheat List || Taekook》Chapter 17

A genuine happy look was displayed across Taehyung's face as he walked through the front door of his apartment again. Him and Jungkook had been practicing for hours after another and the brunette had even given him some compliments. On top of that the grey haired boy himself had gotten to take a piece of paper which contained the lyrics to the song Namjoon was writing for him home and he absolutely couldn't wait to show it to his boyfriend and best friend.
As soon as Taehyung had hung up his coat and took of his shoes the boy walked into the apartment only to find it completely empty. The student raised both his eyebrows in confusion before he began to check all the rooms in search of his boyfriend. He was after all pretty certain Bogum was supposed to be home at this time of the day.
"Weird." The grey haired boy spoke softly as he failed to find the taller male in any of the other rooms of their apartment. However quickly a smile broke out on his face again and he shrugged his shoulders noncalantly. Taehyung would just send Bogum a text to ask if he was working late today and then wait for his boyfriend to come home again. After all, he couldn't wait to share all his experiences from today with him.
As soon as the text was send Taehyung then proceeded to call Jimin, who unlike his boyfriend picked up his phone after only the second ring. "Tae, how was it?" Jimin immediately chirped happily as he waited for his best friend to answer. Out of everyone Taehyung knew Jimin was without a doubt the one who was most involved in his whole singing adventure. It was all that occupied his best friend's mind lately.
"It was great Chim." Taehyung softly answered his best friend while a small smile was decorating his face. Jimin was without a doubt the one he could on rely the most. The boy had always had his back and thus Taehyung trusted him with every piece of information he gave the older boy. "I got invited to Jungkook's apartment and he is even going to practice with me privately."
A loud squeal suddenly sounded on the other side of the line and Taehyung quickly put the phone a bit further from his ear before putting it on speaker. Knowing Jimin the boy would make him go deaf someday and thus the grey haired boy thought it would be safest to just not hold the phone close to his ear at all.
"Practice in private?" Jimin asked even though his voice sounded more enthusiastic than questioning. Taehyung then softly nodded before a small smile began to creep up his face again. "Yeah I will meet up with Jungkook a few times a week in his apartment to work on my song and perfect some notes." The grey haired boy explained before he waited for his friend's reaction.

As expected Jimin started to scream loudly before he began to fangirl. "You know where Jungkook lives? And you get a lot of alone time with him? And you even have his freaking phone number?" Jimin began to ask in a way too hyper tone while he then proceeded to scream again. Taehyung softly began to laugh while he shook his head. Jimin was making a big deal out of something that was not a big deal. Both Jungkook and Taehyung really wanted to win this competition and they had just made the arrangements to do so.
"It's not that big of a deal Chim, calm down." Taehyung spoke to his friend in an amused tone while a small smile was still visible on his face. Then suddenly another topic popped up in Taehyung's head and he quickly began to adjust his stance a bit before he began to smile even brighter.
"Ohh I almost forgot. Jungkook gave me the first few lyrics for the song Namjoon is writing for me." The grey haired boy said, enthusiasm clearly lacing his voice. Jimin, who was clearly speechless on the other side of the line, then softly whispered a 'no way' before Taehyung heard him drop something on the ground. He had always known that his best friend was a real drama queen.
"Tae you know what this means right? You won't get to sing your own song until the semi finals. Jungkook is planning on keeping you." Jimin then spoke his thoughts out loud, a shocked tone clearly lacing his voice.
As Taehyung was going to answer that he knew his best friend suddenly started to talk again. "You know you should be thanking me. That cheat list suddenly comes in really handy don't you think? I mean if you got some alone time with Jungkook why not make good use of it." Jimin then spoke in a sly tone and eventhough Taehyung couldn't see his friend right now he just knew that a big fat smirk would be visible on th smaller boy's face. There always was one when Jimin was making remarks such a this one.
Immediately Taehyung began to form a deep red blush on his cheeks and he was going to answer but someone beat him to it again. "You are such a slut Taehyung." The grey haired boy suddenly heard the voice of his boyfriend say behind him. Quickly Taehyung turned around and was met with a furious boyfriend. Bogum didn't look the slightest bit happy and anger was radiating off of him.
"I am absolutely disgusted by you, you know that?" Bogum spoke in a disgusted tone while he looked at Taehyung as if he was some piece of trash. The grey haired boy swallowed hard while he then began to feel tears prick at his eyes. He didn't meant for the conversation to go where it went at all. Hell, he hadn't even been the one who had said that cheating would be a good idea.

"Babe you know I would never-." Taehyung tried to say but before he knew it Bogum grabbed his chin harshly and pulled the smaller boy closer. Anger was clearly visible in the older boy's eyes and small breaths of nervosity began to leave Taehyung's mouth. He had been in this situation before and he hadn't like the outcome back then. He sure as hell wouldn't like it now too.
"I'm ashamed of what you've become Taehyung. Such a filthy little slut you are." Bogum spoke before he tightened the grip on Taehyung's chin. A tear escaped Taehyung's eye and the painfull grip his boyfriend had on him brought a burning sensation inside the grey haired boy. He felt scared and angry at the same time, there was nothing he could do against it however. If Taehyung would say something that would anger the older even more he knew the consequences damn well...
"Bogum...you're hurting me." The younger tried while a scared tone was clearly lacing his voice. This small sentence however seemed to anger the older even more and he lowered his face so that he was only a small distance from Taehyung's away now.
"I don't care. Sluts like you deserve punishment." The older whispered dangerously low to the scared boy he was still holding in his grip. Another few tears escaped the younger's eyes while he swallowed hard. The look in his boyfriend's eyes wasn't anything good and when he noticed from the corner of his eye that the ravenette had began to move his free hand as well Taehyung quickly pressed his eyes shut while waiting for whatever it was that was still to come.
However the blow that the grey haired boy expected to receive never came. Another voice suddenly filled the room completely and Taehyung widened his eyes again. "Stop that right now or I won't hesitate to call the police Bogum." Jimin spoke from the phone which was still put on speaker. The blonde boy had unbeknown to the other two heard the whole conversation between them and the youngest of them all looked at his boyfriend with a scared look. Jimin's interference would either only anger him more or make him stop.
"Whatever." Bogum spoke angrily before he released the grip he had on Taehyung's chin and pushed him a bit backwards. The boy then walked over to their shared bedroom and slammed the door harshly, clearly trying to make Taehyung understand that he wasn't welcomed in there tonight.
As soon as Bogum was out of sight Taehyung sank to his knees while he softly began to sob. Jimin however still hadn't hung up the phone and before the grey haired boy knew it his best friends was softly trying to calm him down. "Taetae why are you still with him. This is the thirth time he has done this. You deserve so much better." The blonde boy spoke while a hint of anger was still lacing his voice, probably directed towards Bogum.
Taehyung didn't answer his best friend as he continued to sob softly. After all, Jimin knew damn well that even if he wanted to break up with Bogum, he couldn't. The boy owned their shared apartment and Taehyung would be left without a home. On top of that, his boyfriend payed for all their expenses while Taehyung was still in school. He couldn't possibly take care of himself financially.
Of course Taehyung also loved Bogum a lot but he sometimes wondered if they weren't too different from each other. Bogum had been Taehyung's very first boyfriend and the grey haired boy didn't know what it was like to be with someone else. Bogum had been all he knew and somehow even when the boy acted like this he still remained Taehyung's safe haven. The boy was just so familiar with his boyfriend.
"Tae baby don't worry okay. I'll pick you up in 5. There is no way I'm letting you stay in that house tonight." Jimin then spoke before Taehyung heard a lot of noise on the other side of the line. Jimin was probably getting ready to go out and come to his house.
Sobs kept leaving the student's mouth uncontrollably , however a small smile was visible on his face too. Taehyung knew that Jimin would always have his back and today he proved that once more. The blonde was without a doubt the person he trusted the most and the fact that Jimin was now coming to get him when he was in a state as this one meant the absolute world to Taehyung.
