《Chaos ; Joker x Reader》8 ~ Tonight's Entertainment

I wonder when he'll show up. For some reason, I hope it's as soon as possible. What the hell? Why am I thinking like that? Shoot me now.
A few hours pass, to the point it's night. Joker has not showed back up to [Y/N]'s room. Bruce Wayne holds a fundraising party for Harvey Dent, which is held at Bruce's penthouse. Tons and tons of people and attend, but Bruce Wayne himself is not there yet. After most people are there, a helicopter lands on the heli-pad. Bruce Wayne steps out with three supermodels. He walks inside the room," sorry I'm late- glad you started without me! Now where is Harvey, where..." he spots Harvey after looking around a bit," Harvey Dent, the man of the hour. Where's Rachel Dawes? She is my oldest friend. Come here."
She steps forward and walks over towards Bruce and Harvey. "You know when Rachel first told me she was dating Harvey Dent, I had one thing to say: the guy from those god-awful campaign commercials. I believe in Harvey Dent," he puts up his hand in a thumbs up sign," Yeah, nice slogan Harvey, but it got Rachel's attention and then I started to pay attention to Harvey and all he's been doing. He's our new DA and you know what? I believe in Harvey Dent, I believe Gotham can feel a little safer, a little more optimistic. Look at this face, this is the face of Gotham's bright future, Harvey Dent. Let's hear it for him. " He gestures his hand out towards Harvey, then everyone claps.
A little bit later, Bruce walks away from the crowd and looks at the night skyline. Rachel Dawes walks out into the same area Bruce is at. It's like a balcony, but closed in by windows. She stands beside him. "Harvey may not know you enough to know when you're making fun of him, but I do." She says to him.
"I meant every word. You know that day you once told me about, that Gotham would no longer need Batman?" He replies.
"Bruce," She says his name quietly," I can't ask me to wait for that."
"It's happening now. Harvey locked up half the city's criminals and he did it without wearing a mask. Gotham needs a hero with a face." Bruce interrupts.
"You can throw a party Wayne, I'll give you that," Harvey walks out of the main room, with all the people," thanks again. Mind if I borrow Rachel?"
Rachel goes to him and they go back inside.
At the Gotham police department, they found three sets of DNA on the joker card attached to the dead, fake Batman's suit: Judge Surillo, Harvey Dent, and Commissioner Loeb. Lieutenant Gordon immediately says," Joker's telling us who's he targeting. Get a unit over to Surillo's house, tell words to find Dent. Get them both into protective custody. Where's the Commissioner?" He asks.

"City Hall." Officer Ramirez states.
"Seal the building! No one in until I get there!"
"Got it."
They run off separate ways. Two officers go to Surillo's house and knock, while Gordon goes to City Hall.
Gordon goes into Loeb's office. "Gordon, what are you up to?" Loeb asks.
"I want a floor-by-floor search of the entire building," Gordon orders officers," sorry, sir, but we believe the joker has made a threat against your life."
Meanwhile, the two officers at Surillo's show her their badges and escort her to her car. "These are dangerous people, Judge." One of them tell her.
"Yeah but you aren't giving me an awful a lot of information." She replies back.
"We don't know where you're going. Take the envelope, get in, open it, it'll tell you where you're headed.
Harvey and Rachel walk off over to a side hallway. "You cannot leave me alone with these people." Harvey tells her.
"The whole mob is after you and you're worried about these guys?" She asks, slightly laughing.
"Well compared to this, the mob doesn't scare me."
"Gordon, you're unlikely to discover this for yourself, so take my word. Police commissioner gets a lot of threats. I found the appropriate response to these situations a long time ago." Loeb states, as he places a bottle of whiskey and a glass on his desk.
"Them gunning for you makes you see things clearly." Harvey tells Rachel.
"Yeah I bet." She looks at him.
"Yeah it makes you think about things you couldn't stand losing, who you want to spend the rest of your life with."
"That's a big pretty commitment."
"Well not if the mob has their way."
Surillo gets in her car and shuts the door. She begins to undo the envelope.
"You got to explain to my wife why I'm late for dinner, Lieutenant." Loeb says as he holds the glass of whiskey.
"Sir, the Joker cards had traces of your dna on it."
"Don't do that." Rachel tells Harvey.
"Alright, I must be serious then." Harvey responds.
"Okay."
"What's your answer?"
Rachel takes a long deep breath," I don't have an answer."
"How'd they get my dna?" Loeb asks.
"Somebody with your office, or to your house must have lifted tissue or glass," Gordon replies as he reads papers. He quickly looks up at Loeb, who is taking a sip of his whiskey," Wait!!" Gordon yells at Loeb.
"Well that answers it, no." Harvey says.
"Harvey." Rachel looks at him.

"There's someone else isn't there?" He asks.
"Harvey."
"Just tell me it's not Wayne the guy is a complete-"
Bruce comes up behind Harvey and puts him in a headlock. "What are you doing?!" Rachel asks.
Harvey after a few seconds goes unconscious. Bruce drags him to a closet and puts him in.
Surillo pulls a paper out of the envelope, that has the word 'up' written on it. She looks up to the roof of the car, and it blows up, as the police were driving away. Hundreds of Joker cards fly out of the car.
Loeb begins to choke and fall to the ground. Gordon grabs him," grab a medic!!" Gordon yells.
Bruce puts a broom between the handles of the closet, so Harvey couldn't get out if he woke up. Alfred goes to the elevator, as someone arrives. "He's coming for him..." Bruce says in a deep voice.
The elevator opens up and a man holding a police badge is standing in front of a bunch of clowns, but is quickly thrown to the side. "We made it." Joker, who was standing behind the man, states.
Joker walks out of the elevator and shoots his shotgun up towards the ceiling. Alfred and the other guests are terrified. "Good evening, ladies and gentleman. We are tonight's entertainment!" Joker tells everyone, as clowns pile out of the elevator.
The clowns point guns at people. Someone drops a metal tray in the background. Joker picks up a food item and eats. "I only have one question: where is Harvey Dent?" He asks, with food still in his mouth.
He points his shotgun at people, then grabs a glass of champagne and drinks it. He hits someone head a little," do you know where Harvey is? Do you know who he is?"
Bruce Wayne walks around the penthouse and runs into a clown. "Hands up, pretty boy!" The clown points a gun at Wayne.
Bruce pushes the gun into the clown's stomach then snatches it from his hands. He smacks the gun into the clown's head, knocking him out. Bruce takes apart the gun and throws it on the ground. He goes into a room area where a lady and a man are fixing their clothes. "What's going on out there? Wayne!" The man asks.
Bruce keeps walking, ignoring them. He pushes his thumb against a wall and a secret door opens up. "Thank God, you got a panic room." The girl sighs, relieved.
Bruce goes in and it shuts right behind them. The two people just stand there. The Joker goes up to more people," do you know where I can find Harvey? I just need to talk to him about something. Just something little," he examines one dude," no."
He goes up to a man. "You know I'll settle for his loved ones." Joker says as he eats something else.
"We're not intimidated by thugs!" The man states.
Joker has a face, that says like the fuck you say (picture at top of page). "You know... you remind me of my father," Joker grabs the man's face and puts a knife up to his face," I hated my father."
"Okay stop." Rachel demands.
Joker looks over at her and pushes the dude away. He walks towards her. "Well hello, beautiful," he combs his hair back with his gloved hand," you must be Harvey's squeeze, hm? And you are beautiful.."
He walks around Rachel Dawes. He occasionally leans his head towards her and she flinches away. He goes fully around her and looks at her, straight in front of her. "Oh, you look nervous. Is it the scars? Do you wanna know how I got 'em?" He grabs her face, so she can't look away.
"Come here, look at me. See, I had a wife - beautiful, like you - who tells me, I worry too much, who tells me I ought to smile more, who gambles and gets in deep with the sharks. Hey," she keeps moving around, but he keeps forcing her to look at him," One day they carve her face. We have no money for surgeries. She can't take it. I just want to see her smile again, hmm? I just want her to know that I don't care about the scars... so I stick a razor in my mouth and do this to myself," he directs attention to his scars," And you know what? She can't stand the sight of me! She leaves. Now, I see the funny side. Now, I'm always smiling." He smiles wide.
Rachel knees him, making him stumble backwards. He laughs, hunched over. "A little fight in you... I like that."
"Then you're gonna love me." Batman states, as he appears out of nowhere and punches him hard in the chest, sending Joker flying across the floor.
