few weeks had passed since the two had finally began dating and they kept it a secret for awhile just because they didn't know really how to tell sunghoon and soovin, mostly sunghoon since that boy was going to freak out but they decided to just tell him but over a phone call instead

sunghoon wasn't per say surprised but he was just shocked since it came so suddenly but regardless, the boy was happy for them. he knew how much each of them struggled with their stupid feelings so he was glad they finally got their feelings resolved.

soovin was also happy for the too. she was glad that they finally got their happy ending.

the next day after sunghoon and soovin found out, sunghoon and soovin waited in the front of the school, talking as they waited for jake and yuna.

the two came finally and soovin smiled at them. sunghoon then spoke first, "so is the new couple here??"

"couple?" jake raised an eyebrow, "no. we already broke up, we decided it's best to just be friends"

"what?!" soovin and sunghoon shouted in unison

"i didn't call off our relationship just so-"

"he broke up with you" sunghoon cut soovin off and soovin told him to shut up

yuna chuckled, "he's kidding" jake smiled before taking yuna's hand into his and holding it up for the two to see, "we're still dating"

"oh thank goodness" sunghoon patted yuna's head, "finally got your mans ever since you were 8?"

"let's not go there" yuna told him and he chuckled. yuna then looked at her phone and saw the time, "oh, don't you and soovin have a meeting right now?"

"i have a meeting..jake does not" soovin pointed at the boy while sunghoon and yuna looked at them confused

"i'm no longer part of the student council. soovin is now president" jake spoke

"what?!" sunghoon and yuna shouted in unison both very shocked and surprised

"well you can explain, i have a meeting to lead. see you all later" soovin waved bye to the three before walking away

"uhm..explain?!" sunghoon exclaimed

"i quit the council because it was taking up too much of my time. i also got my mom to unenroll me from afterschool tutoring because i didn't need it anymore and she agreed with me" jake explained, "i wanted to make more time for you guys. it was selfish of me to ask you guys to come to my games when i couldn't do the same for you. so it's why i quit those things"

the two were silent for a second before they both hugged the boy tightly, "you care for us!" sunghoon cried jokingly

jake chuckled, patting their backs, "of course. now let's get to class before we're late"

"hey guys!" the three quickly turned around only to see heeseung walking towards them

"hello heeseung" sunghoon waved

the four then began walking to class, yuna and heeseung unknowingly talking and ending up walking ahead of the two boys

"you're not jealous of them?" sunghoon questioned as he looked at jake

"of course not" jake shook his head, "if she has like me for 10 years, i have no doubt in her so i shouldn't be jealous"

"wow very mature" sunghoon nodded, satisfied

heeseung wrapped his arm around yuna, patting her head

sunghoon chuckled and looked over at jake who looked obviously jealous. sunghoon gestured his head towards the two, "go get your girl"

"yah! heeseung!" jake shouted

heeseung quickly took his arm off of yuna before winking at her and quickly running off

"i saw that!" jake yelled before he began running past yuna

yuna laughed as she grabbed a hold of jake's wrist, pulling him back.

she kissed his cheek, smiling at the boy, "i like you"

jake's heart raced up quickly before he kissed her forehead and then continued to run after heeseung

jake and yuna were hanging out at the cafe that niki works at with jay and sunoo.

"i can't wait for school to be over" sunoo sighed, laying his head on jay's shoulder.

"me too" yuna chuckled, "then again i don't want to be a 3rd year. that's so stressful. then we gotta go to college? no thanks"

niki came to the table with 4 drinks in his hands, "one black coffee, americano, chai latte, and a macchiato"

"thank you" the four spoke in unison and niki just nodded, leaving them once again

"hey why didn't sunghoon come?" jay then asked

jake and yuna looked at each other before yuna answered, "he's been weird these days. he's been leaving as soon as the bell ring without telling us anything and running to practice. it's like he's eager to go to practice which is odd"

"you know my friend saerom has been doing the same" sunoo replied

"saerom? the ice-skater?" jake questioned and sunoo nodded, "i think our best friends have crushes on each other"

sunoo almost choked on his salvia, "saerom? having a crush? yah no. i've known that girl since we were young. there's no way she has a crush on someone. especially hoon"

"i don't know.." yuna leaned back, "sunghoon is very..persuasive"

yuna was about to respond when her phone buzzed. she took out her phone and read the message.

the girl sighed as she stood up, grabbing her bag, "i need to get back home. need to help my mom with stuff"

"i'll walk you home then" jake offered and she agreed before they waved bye to their friends and left the cafe.

once they were outside, yuna began walking the opposite way of her house.

jake furrowed is eyebrows, confused before catching up with the girl, "where are you going?"

"i don't need to help my mom" yuna smiled cheekily before grabbing the boy's hand into hers, "i just wanted to spend time with you alone"

jake looked at her with shock before he laughed and just nodded, "guess i'll just have to follow with what my girlfriend wants"

"mhm. let's go the park" she spoke and before jake could even respond, she was dragging him to the park which wasn't too far from the cafe anyways.

once they reached the park, the two found a bench near the pond to sit at and sat next to each other.

"hey jake" yuna spoke, breaking the silence the two were in. he hmmed, turning his head to look at her, "do you plan on going to university far from here?"

"depends. where are you going?"

yuna turned her head to look at him, "with my grades" she chuckled, "going to a community near my house"

"then i guess i'll stay in korea as well"

"you should take the opportunity to go far" yuna leaned against the park bench, "you're probably going to get scholarships for soccer and your high achievements"

jake chuckled, "i will. i already started getting a few"

"exactly-"

"but you're not going to be there with me"

yuna froze and just shook her head, "that doesn't matter. you should go-"

he grabbed her hand, holding it tightly in his, "i'll be happy wherever you are. there are universities in korea i would love to go to as well anyways so going to school in another country is not an option. plus, i'd miss my friends too much as well"

"you're so annoying" yuna scoffed jokingly but jake just laughed pulling her closer to him and wrapping his arms around her, leaning his head on her shoulder.

as much as yuna wanted to hate it, she of course didn't. she smiled, kissing the top of his head.

"the star is beautiful today you know?" jake suddenly spoke

yuna raised an eyebrow at him, "uhm the sun is very bright, can't really see it but i guess it is pretty"

"i meant you yuna"

"oh..yah that makes more sense" yuna chuckled. he raised his head from her shoulder and the two looked at each other. yuna asked another question, "what's your favorite star?"

"bae yuna"
