week had past and it was now the talent show or what they student body ended up just naming it "dance competition" since a majority of people signed up for dancing.

jake was supposed to be the one speaking and introducing the group but because he was competing and so was the vice president along with jungwon, everyone in the club agreed that soovin should do it.

soovin agreed to do so.

the student body council were at school afterschool, getting the auditorium set up that was starting in 30 minutes.

while soovin was directing a member to put the chairs in an order, someone showed up behind her, placing their chin on her shoulder, "hi soovin"

the girl turned her head and laughed, "hello yuna. come to visit?"

she nodded and took off her chin from her shoulder, "how's it going?"

"it's going good? where are the boys?"

"backstage running through their choreography" yuna replied, "is there a prize?"

"uhm to be honest, i have no idea. probably just a trophy. i'm just reading off a script that jake made so we'll see how it goes"

after their short conversation, yuna headed backstage to go see the boys once again.

niki was quick to notice the girl and went over to her, "yuna!" he exclaimed with a big smile on his face

"hello riki" she smiled, "how is it going?"

"going great" riki responded, "will you stay to watch?"

"of course. i know you guys will win" she supported the 7 boys and they all thanked her for her support.

the boys talked amongst themselves as yuna approached jake, "you look nice"

"just nice?" jake joked and she rolled her eyes before lifting her hand and fixing the boy's hair, "your hair is already a mess"

if jake could die right then and there, he would. it's not like she hasn't fixed his hair before, so why was it so different this time?

jake grabbed her wrist which made her stop. she was looking at the boy and she could not deny her heart racing. just like before

'why must my feelings be so confusing like this?'

heeseung noticed this moment before he called over to sunghoon.

the two stepped away for a bit, sunghoon curious as to what he needed to say

"do you know..if jake and yuna still like each other?" heeseung asked

sunghoon blanked out because he heard both jake and yuna's side but what was he supposed to tell heeseung?

"if i'm going to be honest, i don't know. i think yuna has convinced herself..uhm well.."

"has she convinced herself she likes me but she might still like jake?" heeseung finished and as much as sunghoon didn't want to hurt his feelings, he knew it was true

"yah..i'm sorry heeseung" sunghoon felt bad and didn't know what to say

"don't be sorry. it hurts kinda but she can't help her feelings and i can't be mad at her for it. if she still likes him, i can't be mad since he is my best friend" heeseung replied

"you're so mature..i could never" sunghoon replied and heeseung just laughed

"having problems with saerom?"

sunghoon widened his eyes, slapping his arm, "no! we are just..you know..good friends"

"sure. i could see the way she looks at you" heeseung scoffed, "you're oblivious to both your feelings and her feelings"

"whatever" sunghoon and heeseung walked back to the group.

soovin overheard this conversation and bit her lip at the thought

yuna sat in the audience surrounded by a bunch of schoolmates who were there to watch everyone perform.

soovin eventually came out, a bright smile on her face as she stood in front of the microphone, "hello! i'm soovin, part of your student class council! i will be introducing all the performances today. there is a mix of singers and dancers so there will be two first place winners ! the 1st place winner will get a trophy along with having the opportunity to not help out with the school festival which i know everyone dreads so this will be great for the winners! so we're going to begin with our singers. i'm sure a majority of you guys know them but let's welcome yang gyuri and lee seohyun!" the audience clapped and soovin clapped, walking away from the stage as the two girls came up on stage.

soovin stood on the side, watching the two girls perform. she looked through the crowd and saw a bunch of students until she realized that one of the students had a different school uniform. she gasped softly as she noticed who it was

noh saerom.

"is..she here for sunghoon?" soovin mumbled to herself.

"hey soovin" the girl whipped her head around only to see sunghoon standing in front of her.

she stumbled back but he caught onto her, "woah there" he just laughed before she caught her balance again and he let go of her, "do you know when you go on?"

"oh yah" she looked at her script, "first 5 people are singers and then 3 groups are dancing so yours is 4th"

"alright sounds good" sunghoon grinned before soovin noticed something

"all the other guys have ties, why don't you?" soovin questioned, pointing at his collar

"i kinda don't know how to tie a tie.." he mumbled a bit embarrassed which caused her to burst out laughing

"yah! it's not funny!" sunghoon slapped her back not to hard.

she collected herself before chuckling lightly, "it's a bit funny but where is your tie, i'll tie it for you"

"really?" sunghoon took the tie out of her pocket before handing it to the girl before she wrapped it around his collar and began tying it for him

"so you like that saerom girl?" soovin spoke

"hey! even you ask that question? you really are obsessed with people liking each other" sunghoon rolled his eyes, "again we are just good friends..i don't know if i can consider us friends since we don't really talk, we just ice-skate and compete against each other but we don't hang out or anythign"

"that doesn't mean you can't like her" she finished his tie and stood back, "looks good"

"alright thanks soovin" he patted her shoulder before walking back over to his group.

soovin sighed at this before looking back in the crowd, looking for saerom.

despite her cute appearance, her face was emotionless and she didn't seem to care.

"waiting for sunghoon to perform i guess" she frowned before she heard the audience clap, signaling the performance ended.

soovin quickly went out, plastering a smile on her face, "wasn't that performance amazing! i love their voices so much! let's move on too our next performer! ahn jaehyun!"

claps were heard as soovin once again went to the side as the performer came out

multiple performances went by, soovin honestly getting tired of repeating the same thing over and over again just changing a few of the words.

it was already at the dance performers but even those were getting repetitive but they were a bit more interesting.

finally it was jake's group time to perform.

soovin clapped for the group prior to them and spoke, "well it's time for our next performers! sim jaeyun, lee heeseung, park sunghoon-you know who they are"

claps and woahs were heard as the 7 boys entered and soovin to the side

"woo!" yuna exclaimed a bit too loudly but the people around her knew how close she was to the boys so they just ignored it

soovin looked at saerom who now was interested and was focused on the performance.

she frowned for a little bit before the song began and the 7 boys began their performance.

yuna remembered this song, mostly because that's all that had been playing the last few weeks and she heard it. to be quite honest, she didn't remember the song title, something like flicker or something like that

soovin was still observing and saw her slight smile when sunghoon's part came on. she then turned around before taking in a breath and going over to one of her other student council members, "hey can you take over the last few performances, i don't feel good"

"yah sure. hope you feel better" soovin bowed her head lightly before leaving backstage and the performances.

the 7 boys finished up their performance with a loud erupt of cheers and woohs in the crowd and at the point, majority of people knew who won the competition.

instead of soovin, another council member came out, announcing the next performer.

yuna immediately got worried at this and

she pulled out her phone to text soovin

yuna pouted slightly as she was going to listen to soovin but instead tracked the girl's location only to see that was still at school but at the school field.

yuna quickly got out of stage and left to go find soovin.
