more shouting began as yuna won five consecutive rounds against all 7 of the boys, "hi losers" yuna smiled making all of them roll their eyes

"reminder to never let yuna play games with us ever again" heeseung muttered, placing the game controller on the coffee table and leaned back on the chair

"you know you'll let me play again" yuna laughed, leaning on heeseung's arms

the boy just chuckled, patting the girl's head

jake looked over at the two, feeling something inside of him.

jake cleared his throat and stood up, "sunghoon can i talk to you?"

the boy raised his eyebrow but nonetheless stood up and the two left the room which made the others confused but shrug it off anyways

the two boys walked away into the kitchen as sunghoon sat on the barstool of the island, "what's up?"

"i hate this" jake began, "why do i feel like this?"

sunghoon was confused for a second but quickly caught on, "..is this about yuna and heeseung?"

jake nodded, "is this what you warned me about? the fact that yuna doesn't feel the same way anymore..about me?"

sunghoon hated to break it to him but he had too, "you still haven't called it off with soovin and so..yuna and heeseung obviously have hung out since then" sunghoon felt like yuna should be the one to tell him about the date as it wasn't his business and yuna was supposed to say it, "i told you that if you didn't make your move then she would move on and she is. im sorry to put it like this but it's true jake. you're too late"

jake ran his hand through his hair, stressed, "do you like her?"

"i don't know sunghoon" jake groaned, "i thought..i only liked soovin but this making me confused"

"what's making you confused?" a girl's voice was heard and the two boys looked at the girl

jake froze, not knowing what to say.

"he's just telling me he's confused on where to go on a date with soovin" sunghoon came up with a lie and yuna chuckled, standing beside sunghoon who was sat on the stool

"i told you i would help you if you needed it" yuna responded

"i-it's okay. i can plan it out myself" jake chuckled nervously

yuna shrugged, "anyways. i think i'm going to head out. i'm tired and i want to sleep"

"want one of to walk you home?" sunghoon offered and she shook her head

"heeseung said he would walk me home" sunghoon nodded

"we'll see you tomorrow yuna" the girl nodded as well, waving bye to the two boys and leaving the kitchen

"why didn't you offer to walk her home?!" sunghoon yelled at him and jake raised his hands in defense

"i was panicking. i'm still figuring out my feelings"

sunghoon sighed, calming himself, "if you're jealous of her and heeseung then you like her! i don't know what's making sense. i mean..unless you're like jealous of the fact that she isn't spending time with her best friend, aka you and more time with heeseung but i doubt it"

jake in his heart knew that wasn't the reason but his brain was believing it but he himself knew it wasn't true.

he was jealous but he refused to admit it as he now saw how happy yuna was with heeseung

"a talent show?" sunghoon raised an eyebrow at the two

jake and soovin nodded, "next month i believe?"

"schools actually do talent shows?" sunghoon muttered and shook his head, "how many people have signed up so far?"

"hmm..100 students?" soovin responded, "most are dancing and singing so i think we're going to make it a dance competition for the dancers and singing competition for the singers"

"by the way heeseung signed us up for it" jake mentioned which made sunghoon choke on nothing

"excuse me?!" sunghoon caught his breath looking at jake in shock, "us?? as in our group of 7?" jake nodded again, "what the fuc-" he cut himself off before he could curse anymore, "why?? he didn't even ask us first?"

"he said he would treat us out if we won it"

sunghoon was silent for a few seconds then smiled, "aight what choreography are we doing?"

jake just laughed, knowing that he would go along with it if he said that

so now jake had to go convince heeseung to treat them out if they won.

"are you going to do anything soovin?" sunghoon then asked

she shrugged, "i'm organizing the whole thing so i probably won't have time to do anything along with the upcoming festival for the school so i'll be busy"

"you're not doing it?" sunghoon pointed at jake while he shook his head

"im helping with the talent show thing or whatever and jungwon is helping with the festival and so will i but soovin wanted to take the lead on these events" jake explained

"i like planning these things so" soovin said, "hopefully it comes out good"

"you're planning it so i'm sure it will" jake complimented her and she smiled in response

sunghoon gagged in front of the two, "sorry i just can't" he gagged again dramatically making the two roll their eyes, "if you're going to flirt, don't do it in front of me"

jake shook his head, "anyways, where is yuna?"

"in the library doing her project" sunghoon answered, "oh nevermind! there she is!"

soovin and jake turned around and saw yuna walking into the classroom with two boys. the three walked over to sunghoon and his friends and yuna smiled, "hey guys"

"hello" jake smiled, "who are your friends?"

"white haired is taeyang and this is jiung" she introduced the two

"it's nice to meet you guys" jiung smiled, "yuna talks a lot about you guys"

"oh! you're her group mates right? the 3rd years?" the two nodded, "well" soovin started, "i'm soovin, this is jake, and that's sunghoon"

everyone waved to each other, saying hi.

"they were wondering if they could sign up for the competition thing soovin"

"really?!" soovin's eyes lit up and the two nodded

"our group wanted to enter the dance competition. there's 6 of us...but we don't all have to be from this school right?"

soovin shook her head, "rules for dance competitions state that they can be from outside places as well so if your friends are from another school then that's okay as long as they are in the age range of high schoolers"

taeyang smiled, "great. can we sign up then?"

soovin nodded and stood up, "follow me" she turned to her friends, "see you guys later"

the two boys said bye to all of them and walked out of the classroom, following soovin

yuna took the seat next to sunghoon and leaned against his shoulder, "i hate that stupid project oh my lord"

"are they bad partners?" jake asked

she shook her head, "jiung and taeyang are perfectly good partners i just hate what we have to do"

"well what do you have to do?"

yuna leaned back, away from sunghoon's shoulder as she began explaining what she had to do.

in the midst of doing so, he began tying her hair up into a ponytail and while sunghoon was listening to her, jake was just staring at her as she put her hair up.

jake remembered the time where jay told him that it's attractive when girls put their hair in a ponytail but jake never really thought anything about it.

for some reason, seeing yuna do it now, even though he's seen her do it many times, was attractive.

"jake" yuna snapped her fingers in front of him, snapping him out of his trance.

the boy shook his head going back to present day, "huh? sorry what is happening?"

yuna laughed, "just about my group project. you zoned out for like 3 minutes geez"

"that long...the hell" jake muttered to himself

"so away from my stupid project" yuna began changing the topic, "i-"

sunghoon gasped, "are you joining the talent show?"

"ew no" yuna shook her head, "never. i'm untalented and it's basically dance and singing competitions and i can do neither so..i'll root for you guys instead but that's not the point" she got back on the topic that she wanted to talk about in the first place, "i wanted to ask if you guys all wanted to go to festival that you know the council is planning. the last time we went to a fair-"

"shut up!" sunghoon immediately shushed her, "we don't talk about those moments"

"when sunghoon threw up on the ferris wheel?" jake brought up and sunghoon smacked his head on the table.

the two friends began laughing at him, "oh! i thought it was the time sunghoon got hit with a baseball by a kid and kid's parent ended up hitting hoon for hitting their kid"

sunghoon groaned, hearing all the embarrassing times that they've spent at the amusement park and all times have been HIS embarrassing moments

"fine" sunghoon sat up, leaning back, "what about the time a kid sprayed his water gun at you jake?"

"hey!" jake stopped laughing, "that was mean of him.."

yuna chuckled, "what about the time when you spilled water on a girl and their boyfriend ended up fighting you"

"oh my god" jake covered his face in embarrassment

"wait i still have the video!" sunghoon pulled out his phone and scrolled through his gallery to find it

"you recorded me fighting him instead of helping me??" jake questioned, widening his eyes

"no! never.." sunghoon slowly put his phone away and shook his head, "what about when yuna saw a cute guy and she ran head first into a pole"

"yah!" she smacked sunghoon's arm out of embarrassment while the two boys laughed at her, "he was cute okay"

"didn't u have a crush on jake at the time?" sunghoon brought up

"yes but i already knew his dumbass wasn't going to like me back so i had to search for other options" she crossed her arms, remembering that day, "it was so embarrassing!"

"did you just call me a dumbass?" jake then spoke.

yuna raised her head and smiled, "yes and?" she stuck her tongue quickly before jake stood up

"three seconds"

"i don't need three seconds though i think you might need three seconds to catch me" yuna stood up before dashing out of the classroom

"bae yuna!" jake exclaimed, chasing after the girl, leaving sunghoon alone in the classroom

"those two are gonna be the death of me"
