"so...you two—no, you three are good now?" soovin asked as she brought back drinks to the their lunch table

"did sunghoon receive an apology?" yuna asked, grabbing a water bottle from what soovin brought back

"he sent me a whole essay at like 3 in the morning when i was sleeping on how he was sorry to me along with you" sunghoon spoke, "i didn't read it until i woke up because i was not going to read it at 3 in the morning but i accept his apology i guess.."

jake laughed, "thank you"

"god bless you guys are not fighting anymore" soovin sat next to sunghoon, "it was awkward-"

"can you switch seats with yuna or something?" sunghoon cut her off, asking a totally unrelated question

soovin rolled her eyes, "really? you and yuna have a weird relationship"

"what do you mean?" sunghoon raised an eyebrow

"you guys are more affectionate that jake and i and were seeing each other" soovin mentioned and jake nodded his head

"our relationship is simply platonic. no feelings because those are long gone" sunghoon explained, "yuna has her eyes set on someone else now"

yuna chuckled while jake over at her, "you know sunghoon used to like me?"

"really?!" soovin exclaimed in shock

"okay! i thought we were over this already!" sunghoon groaned, "yes i did like her but that was for 2 years. i gave up once i realized she liked someone else. i'm fine with our platonic relationship"

soovin leaned towards sunghoon and he leaned back, looking at her weird, "hmm..you sure you're not the 2nd lead in a story about yuna and jake or something?"

"okay two things." sunghoon pushed her forehead back, away from him, "one, i'm not a second lead, get out of your kdrama and manga world. and two, what story about yuna and jake? you're literally seeing him and shipping them together"

"i think they're cute together" soovin shrugged, looking at the two, "but i guess i can't ship them since yuna has someone else"

"just friends" she pointed out, "nothing going on..yet"

"yet" sunghoon pointed at her, "you'll be something with heeseung soon"

jake choked on his food and the three looked at him weirdly. yuna patted his back and handed him a bottle of water, "you good?"

he nodded, grabbing the water bottle and quickly drinking out of it. he regained his breath and put the water bottle down, "y-yah..i'm good"

sunghoon immediately knew what it was that made him do that. he shook his head and ate his own food

"oh right" sunghoon brought up, looking at jake, "the guys wanted to hang at jay's house afterschool today, can you come?"

he nodded, "don't have anything to do afterwards so i can make it up"

"no shifts at your jobs?" sunghoon raised an eyebrow and jake shook his head, "i still don't understand how you got that much money in like 2 or 3 months. your paycheck is literally every other week"

"i got a lot of tips" jake spoke, "mostly by..girls.."

yuna and soovin chuckled, "did you use your looks on purpose or.."

"it was unintentional!" he exclaimed, trying to defend himself, "though..i may have a small plastic bag of numbers"

"phone numbers?" yuna laughed and he nodded

the girl wasn't jealous at all and that felt like a huge relief to her because she finally she was getting over jake.

"so..do you guys have a date soon?" yuna then asked out of curiosity

jake and soovin both nodded, "3rd date already"

"and you guys aren't dating already? that's a shock" yuna chuckled, "when is it?"

"hm..on friday" soovin responded, "and i'm going to guess jake is going to need your help planning it again"

jake was embarrassed by that comment since he already had yuna help him on the last two dates and felt bad

right then jake realized that yuna had helped him plan out his first date with soovin while she liked him-likes him? jake was still confused on whether or not yuna liked him but he was leaning more towards the fact that she was probably getting over him

jake still hadn't known about the date between heeseung and yuna; mostly because yuna keeps forgetting to tell him.

"if you need help" yuna patted his head, "you can ask me but i think it'd be more special if you'd plan your date with her"

"you guys are talking as if soovin isn't sitting right in front of you" sunghoon mentioned

yuna took her hand off of jake and shrugged, eating the rest of her food

the group talked for a little more before yuna stood up with her tray

"where you going?" jake asked as the three looked at her

"i have a literature project with my group" she answered, "i told them i would meet up with them during lunch to discuss it more"

"you've been in this advanced class for like a few weeks geez and you have a project"

yuna shrugged again, "see you guys later" she gave a smile before beginning to walk away from the

"yuna noona didn't come?" sunoo asked jake and sunghoon as they walked into jay's house

they shook their head, "she was busy so she couldn't come today"

"aww okay" sunoo pouted but closed the door after they entered, "the guys are in the living room"

the two nodded as they walked into the living room seeing the rest of their group, "it's been awhile since we all hung out" jake mentioned as he took a seat next to heeseung

"we're all busy doing our own things" jungwon chuckled, "heeseung has dance, sunghoon has ice skating, niki has dance and his job at the cafe, jay has basketball, sunoo has his art classes, i have student council and so do you but you have a lot more things to do"

heeseung then noticed something, looking at jake, "you and sunghoon made up?"

"we fought?" sunghoon spoke and the whole group looked at him weirdly, "oh! right we did! yah we made up already. today actually"

"so you made up with yuna noona then?" niki brought up

jake nodded, "i gave her a reason as too why i didn't show up to some of her events and her party and her late birthday gift"

"..so you gonna tell us or?" niki urged him as he was curious and so were the others

"i was working two jobs so i could pay for yuna's gift. she's been wanting an ipad for the past few years and the new ipad air came out so i decided to get her that for her birthday. i took many shifts and overtime since the freaking ipad was like 1,200,000 won but since it was for yuna, i did it. i was working for like 2..3? months which is why i missed going a lot of your things. it's why i didn't go to korean barbecue with you guys after sunoo's art contest. they called me in for a shift and i needed the money so..i had to leave. i kept it a surprise from yuna and a secret from all you guys"

"why didn't you just tell us?" jay then responded after his small rant

"because someone would've blabbed it to yuyu" all eyes went to sunoo immediately

the boy just whined in response, "hey! i don't blab anything"

"what about the time when jay told you his crush and you told all of us in the end?"

"or the time when you and jungwon were checking each other's tests and you realized he cheated so you called him out then he got put onto probation for the student council?"

"or the time you told sunghoon's ice skating coach that he skipped his practices not because he was sick but because he was hanging out with us?"

"oh! and the time you told-"

"okay! okay! i get it" he muttered, crossing his arms, "b-but! if it was for yuyu noona, i wouldn't have told her!"

"sure okay" jake rolled his eyes while the rest of the boy chuckled

the boys had a lot to catch up on. it's been a long time since they hung out so they spent the first few minutes talking before one of them suggested to play a video game

the few minutes of talking turned into 2 hours of everyone yelling at each other.

heeseung was in the middle of arguing with niki when he put his hand out, stopping niki from talking, "i shouldn't be fighting with an infant. this is just embarrassing"

"you-!" niki grabbed a throw pillow off the couch and threw it at him

heeseung luckily caught it and laughed afterwards. his phone buzzed in the middle of everyone yelling at each other.

he grabbed his phone off the coffee table and leaned back in the couch. a small smile appeared on his face as soon as he saw the message

jake seemed to notice this and subconsciously look at his phone screen

'no stop it jake' jake looked away, not wanting to be rude but he swore he saw the name 'yuna' on his screen

jungwon also noticed this and silenced everyone. the boys stopped yelling at each other, looking at jungwon while heeseung looked up from his phone after sending one text

"heeseung is smiling at his phone" jungwon pointed at the boy. this alerted everyone and they all turned their attention to him

"who are you texting?" sunoo asked, interested in who is making the boy happy

"why do i have to be texting? what if i was laughing at a post?" heeseung defended himself, lying horribly as he put his phone back on the coffee table

jungwon looked over at his screen, "because the green text boxes and the contact name 'yuyu' with a heart beside it says otherwise"

heeseung smacked his forehead, "you don't shut up do you?"

"so you were texting yuna noona!" niki shouted

"no!" heeseung tried to defend himself but of course it wasn't working

jay eyed his phone and heeseung noticed this.

in a few seconds, both boys lunged for heeseung's phone.

jay grabbed it first, luckily, and looked at niki, "catch it!"

niki held out his two hands before jay tossed the phone towards him.

niki caught it and immediately put in his fingerprint that heeseung allowed him to have.

"hey heeseung" niki began reading and heeseung stopped in his place, "want to hang out soon? sure! want to hang out on friday? fine by me smiley face afterwards"

"ooooo" all the boys ooooe'd at the boy, except for jake, "you and yuna huh??"

"we are just friends" heeseung muttered with a small smile on his face, "we've only been on one-"

"no!" sunghoon lunged towards heeseung, both of them falling onto the couch behind them with sunghoon on top of heeseung and his hand covering his mouth

"take a picture quick" jungwon nudged jay who quickly took out his phone from his pocket and snapped a picture of the two on the couch

"if you don't shut up, i swear heeseung" sunghoon whispered to him and the boy beneath him just nodded confused

sunghoon got up from heeseung, fixing his clothes before glaring at jay, "you better delete that picture"

jay chuckled, "not until i get my blackmail use out of it"

sunghoon rolled his eyes while heeseung stood up, fixing his clothes as well

"so..you guys have a secret?" sunoo asked curiously

"no!" sunghoon shouted

"you do!" sunoo clapped his hands, "what is it?!"

sunghoon bit his lip, trying to think of something, "you know heeseung didn't like the painting you made him 2 years ago"

"what the fuc-"

sunoo cut heeseung's cursing off, "how dare you! i spent so long on that painting!" sunoo gasped offended

"sunghoon didn't like the bento box you and jungwon made him that one time!" heeseung quickly came in

"yah!" sunoo and jungwon shouted in unison

"okay at least i didn't lie about having food poisoning to get out of jungwon's speech and debate because it was boring!" sunghoon spoke again, looking over at sunoo

"sunoo!" jungwon was offended as well then scoffed, "least i didn't leave jay's basketball game for a girl"

"you left my game for a girl?!" jay joined in, looking at sunoo

"i-i-" sunoo didn't want to answer it and deflected the topic on someone else, "you left sunghoon's ice skating competition because you were bored!"

sunghoon gasped at jay, "what the hell?! my ice skating competitions are interesting!"

"okay guys calm-"

"jake didn't actually check your essay because he was too tired and just told you it was perfect and in the end you still got a 65 on it!" jay cut jake off immediately

jake gave jay a 'are you serious' look as he tried apologizing to sunoo but jake knew he just had to join in, "okay you know..! sunoo stole jungwon's homework making their grades switch!"

"i knew something was up when i got that grade!" jungwon pointed at sunoo

"okay but did i get you on probation?"

"yes! yes you did!" everyone yelled in unison at sunoo

"you didn't have to say it like that.." he crossed his arms but quickly deflected the topic onto someone else, "yuyu and jake have a friendship book without sunghoon knowing!"

"excuse me?!" sunghoon looked at jake, "you have one without me?!"

"sunoo shut up!" jake smacked his forehead, "yes but-!"

sunghoon stood there with his arms crossed, waiting for an explanation. jake had no excuse though, "heeseung accidentally gave you pineapple when he made us food!"

"i knew it!" sunghoon exclaimed and heeseung smacked his forehead, "i'm allergic you idiot!"

"okay! i forgot and- you're still alive at least!" heeseung spoke and sunghoon rolled his eyes at the fact that his best friend could've killed him, "at least i showed up to all of niki's dance competitions unlike someone"

everyone's eyes went to jake then the boy realized something, "where is that child?"

"right here" the boys all turned their attention to behind them where niki stood with a girl beside him

"yuna?" jake raised an eyebrow, "what are you doing here?"

"my group and i finished what we needed to do and riki texted me asking if i had time to come over so..i came over" yuna explained, "seems like you guys have a lot of apologizing to do"

"how much did you hear..?" sunghoon asked, rubbing the back of his neck

"uh...starting from heeseung not liking sunoo's painting to jake not showing up to riki's dance competitions" yuna spoke and all the boys smacked their heads

"sorry you had to hear that.." jake apologized for the boys

yuna shrugged as she put her bag down, "i know worst things about all of you anyways"

"yah!" yuna ignored all the shouts as she walked towards the couch sitting in between jake and heeseung, "can we play a video game or something? all this yelling is giving me a headache"

all the boys stopped shouting and slowly sat back in their seats, "are you good at games?"
