"yuna" soovin began as the two walked out of school, "i think i want to break it off with jake"

"what?" yuna responded in shock since she just said it out of no where, "why? i thought you guys really liked each other"

"we do but i don't know..something just seems off with him. like i can see he likes me but i don't know if it's in a girlfriend way? does that make any sense?"

"2 dates isn't enough to judge whether or not you like him" yuna chuckled, "try one more and if it doesn't work than you guys can just spilt"

'please don't spilt because if he's not seeing you then all my feelings will come crashing down on me again' yuna prayed in her mind for them to stay together

"i guess i can try it" soovin shrugged, "i'll give it a shot"

yuna nodded, "plus don't you like jake?"

"i do but..i don't know to be honest. i'm just being weird to be honest"

"sounds about right" yuna told her and soovin rolled her eyes

"soo.." soovin started again, "are you excited for your birthday?"

"very" she laughed, "i know sunghoon has good birthday plans usually"

"you're so old girl. at least you'll be legal to drink now!"

"after heeseung's party. i don't really feel like drinking anymore. that was a whole mess and i ended up confe-" she cut herself off in the end, realizing she can't tell soovin about how she confessed to jake, "it was just a big mess and i don't want to repeat it"

"at least youre okay" soovin patted her back in attempt to comfort her, "also it was kinda just a mistake since you were probably all panic-y and anxious after getting..well you know" yuna nodded, "im sure you'll know how to handle alcohol in the future eventually"

"we'll see" yuna laughed

"ah!" soovin then stopped and yuna looked at her, "you don't have any homework right?" yuna shook her head, "let's go shopping!"

"i'm not really a shop-"

"come on! let's go. it'll be fun!" soovin pleaded and yuna sighed, giving in, "yay!"

"okay what's up with you?" sunghoon looked at jake who was doing homework at his desk while sunghoon was sitting on jake's bed

"what are you talking about?" jake asked as he continued to look down at his work

"you know what i'm talking about" sunghoon sighed, "the whole heeseung and yuna incident this morning"

"what about it?"

"oh my god jake" sunghoon got up from jake's bed and walked over to the boy, closing his workbook

jake looked up at sunghoon, "what?"

"are you jealous of heeseung and yuna?" sunghoon asked, being so sure of it and even if jake said 'no', he knew he was

jake scoffed and tried to open his workbook again but sunghoon had his hand firmly on the workbook, keeping it close, "you can tell me jake. i'm your best friend. i won't tell yuna"

jake let out a long sigh, looking away from sunghoon, "i don't know what i feel"

sunghoon knew it. the boy leaned against his desk, crossing his arms, "then tell me what's going on. i'll listen"

he was silent for a few seconds before speaking, "when i first saw soovin, i was in shock. she was pretty, she seemed really nice and to be honest i thought it was love at first sight. i thought i really liked her and i do but..i don't know if i see her as a friend or not.." jake began explaining, "when we first went on a date, everything was fine. my heart raced around her, i stuttered a lot, i was nervous, and i was blushing"

"then..the second date came and..we didn't even go on a date"

sunghoon raised an eyebrow, confused, "what do you mean you didn't go on a date?"

"we were supposed to go on a date but she ended up getting busy so we cancelled the date" jake continued, "but the more and more we hung out during school and spent time alone..it just wasn't the same as when i first saw her and when we first went on a date" sunghoon listened to what he was saying carefully, "yuna..i thought i never saw her as more than a friend because she always told people who assumed we were dating that we were just friends..i never saw her as anything more because i was never jealous of her talking to anyone else because she didn't really talk to any other guys besides you and i know you guys don't like each other"

"what about niki though?" sunghoon asked

jake raised an eyebrow, "niki is an infant..trust me, i'm not jealous of that child talking with yuna" sunghoon just laughed, "but...i didn't think she'd be close with heeseung so i never thought about it..the day yuna threw her test at him, i was watching from a distance because i followed her to go comfort her but..heeseung seemed to have beat me to it. i ended up giving the coffee to soovin since yuna already got a drink"

"ohh..so that's what happened at lunch that one day" jake nodded

"i tried to forget it since..i liked soovin but the more and more i saw heeseung and yuna spend more time together, i got jealous. then when she confessed to me..i felt happy? but the fact she said she doesn't want me to do anything about it made me kinda upset but i was still convinced i liked soovin so i just thanked her. im upset that..i'm not the one making her smile and laugh..and making her flustered"

sunghoon took in a breath before speaking, "you done?" jake nodded, "good" sunghoon grabbed his thick workbook and began smacking jake on the arm with it, "why didn't you confess earlier?!!"

"okay! okay! stop!" jake shouted and sunghoon stopped, putting the book down and let out a breath, "i..i think i like soovin though?"

"ugh!" sunghoon groaned in annoyance, "if you're jealous about yuna and heeseung and you're not as shy with soovin anymore..then you like yuna!! what's there to not understand!? you know for a straight A kid, you're so stupid"

"i don't know feelings! i've never..felt jealous? i don't know!" he defended himself, sighing afterwards, "what do i do sunghoon?"

sunghoon bit his lip, trying his best to comfort him, "look. you think you still like soovin? just go on one more date with her and see how it goes..if you feel nervous and shy around her then you still like her..if you don't feel that way then break it off with her so you don't lead her on"

jake nodded, "i just don't want to hurt any of their feelings.."

"oh trust me. you hurt yuna's feelings long ago" sunghoon spoke truthfully and jake hit his arm

"was that supposed to make me feel better!?"

"nope. just guilty" sunghoon smiled cheekily before going over to his bed, sitting back down and going on his phone

jake sighed as he grabbed his phone and opened the messaging app to text soovin
