Chapter 20, A + K

Please stop talking to me in your Mickey Mouse voice, it's really worrying and very dumb.

The date went unimaginable, we laughed until our insides hurt and then he took me to the diner that I worked at for dinner, I couldn't feel more connected to him than yesterday, I was really happy when he met Harley because she was like my second mother.

She approved of him and told me that he was such a gentleman the whole date, she was proud that I met someone like him and low-key, i was happy that I had met someone like him as well.

When we got to the bus stop, he insisted on walking me home, when he did, I kissed his cheek and he kissed mine before walking off to the bus stop, I had to tell my friends everything but since it was a little late, I had to wait for the morning to tell them everything that went down.

Isabella completely fan girled with me not caring about anyone who was looking at her, Kiana was also fan girling but she didn't make it so obvious like Isabella did and Dana, well Dana just nodded her head and pursed her lips into a thin line as I continued to ramble.

Dana doesn't really like all the love and affection so when people speak about it, she feels a little weird and misplaced but always tries to be supportive and add onto the conversation when she notices how into it we are, I appreciate her for doing that.

I'm sure she knows but just in case, I always tell her that I'm thankful that she tries her best to keep our moods happy than sad or angry, she always thanks me and then tell me to stop being sappy with her.

"Bro, imagine he speaks like Mickey and Mouse."

Dana laughed as she went into a higher octave than her normal voice and continued to speak as if she was Mickey Mouse, I can't stand her at times but I can't get rid of her, she's stuck with me and I'm stuck with her.

Should've gotten a thirty second trailer to see what I was getting myself in, but sadly, life doesn't give you that opportunity and you just have to make sure that your friend isn't a lunatic and that they're actually normal.

As you can see, I didn't get lucky and got three friends who has mood swings like crazy but they always make me feel like I'm the normal one in the friend group, sometimes you just have to have friends that make you forget phones exist and that time goes by quickly.

They're the best to hang around with, sometimes I decide to leave my phone in my house when I go out to hang out with them because it's not like we use our phones anyways.

We carry our phones to text another and take photos but whenever we're near each other, we don't use our phones.

Quality time is what we spend when we're together, something that a bunch of kids and teens don't get because they either don't have friends, their friends are toxic or their parents are strict and don't let them do anything with their friends.

"Hi Kara, I'm Ashton and I like reading books because a nerd!"

Dana continued using her Mickey mouse voice which made Isabella laugh, Isabella signed to Kiana so she didn't get confused on why she was laughing and that made Kiana laugh.

Now everyone was laughing at Ashton and his fictional voice, if I said anything then I would be Minnie mouse and I don't wanna be known as Minnie mouse so, I'm sorry Ashton.

Please stop talking to me in your Mickey Mouse voice, it's really worrying and very annoying.

I couldn't stop myself from laughing, hanging out with them was one of the best things I ever did in my whole entire life, although it's not like I had a chance to stop hanging out with them.

These are my sisters, not even like my sisters, they are my family and I'm not afraid to tell people that I think that they make me feel more like their sister than my actually sister.

When the laughter died down, we decided that we wanted to go to the mall and buy some more things that we didn't need but simply wanted, our report cards come soon which meant that we probably did deserve to go shopping since we all passed our classes.

How do I know this you may ask, we always ask our teachers if we're missing any assignments or failing their classes and they tell us what we missed or if we're passing which we are, so we didn't need to worry about anything.

As we walked to the bus stop to go to the mall, Cameron and Ashton walked over with a smile on their faces.

Cameron was wearing a baseball jersey while Ashton was wearing his baseball jersey, they both looked happy but Ashton got happier when we met eyes, they walked quicker and greeted me and my friends.

"Y'all would be such a cute couple."

Cameron stated as he looked at Ashton and I, I smiled at him and smiled back before we all got onto the bus.

Dana invited them to go to the mall with us which they happily accepted, so when the bus stopped, we all quickly got off and walked to the mall together but we stopped by a tree because Cameron just had to do something.

So we waited for him to finish whatever the hell he was going to the poor tree before he told us to come and check it out, I felt my heart melt a little bit as Ashton grabbed my hand and smiled at me as well.

"Now just add equals forty-seven and you got the best ship name in the world."

Dana joked as Cameron laughed with her, they both had the same humor so nobody is really surprised that they get along well, Ashton kissed my forehead as we continued to go to the mall.
