~ Karalynn's POV ~

"So you're telling me, he grabbed your waist and you didn't propose to him? Disappointed in you Kara."

Dana joked as she shooked her head and crossed her arms, I looked at her and laughed as we walked to the diner that I worked at because we were both hungry but didn't want any fast food at the moment, everything at the diner was made fresh and nobody ever got sick from it.

Unless you eat something that you weren't supposed to and didn't tell anyone, but we always ask for any allergies before taking your orders, it's something we had to do since the diner opened.

We walked into the diner as the smell of freshly made coffee danced it's way into our noses, I always loved breathing in the smell of fresh coffee because it smelled so good but I never wanted to drink it a lot because it made me feel sick from my stomach.

Harley always made sure that she remembered my favorite food so that she could make it, I felt more like her daughter than I did with my parents, Dana knew about Shirley as well and she also found her attractive.

In fact, Dana found her so attractive that she always flirted with her which resulted in Shirley shooting her down for her age, Dana's excuse is that she's going to a be a senior in two years, but that didn't change Shirley's mind.

We sat down at the booth, I was skimming through the menu although I already knew what I wanted to eat and Dana was just blabbing about Ashton and I.

"You know, I can always ask him if he has feelings for anyone."

Dana stated as she waited for Harley to come over and take our orders, I looked at her, I wasn't sure if I should take this offer because Dana has a mouth that's like a gun with one bullet in it, you don't know what she's gonna say.

It could be sweet or what she say could kill you, I guess that's the thrill of being friends with Dana though, she always keeps you on your toes for absolutely no reason and I always fall for it.

"Please don't, you might scare him off and he might never speak to me ever again."

I teased as Harley came over, she smiled at me as I got up and hugged her tightly, she hugged me back and kissed my forehead before I sat back down and told her my usual order.

Dana spoke sweetly to Harley and told her, her order before Harley walked away to give the chef our orders.

"How come you're so sweet to Harley but to everyone else you're just, well you're not nice."

I asked as I took my phone out and set it on the table, Dana shrugged her shoulders.

"Also I'm not that scary, he'll probably understand where in getting at and tell me that you're his crush."

Dana insisted, I looked at her with a raised eyebrow and told her that people do find her scary at times because she wasn't always the nicest person ever.

I gasped dramatically and placed a hand on my heart as if she had just shot me and then laughed as she scrunched up her nose and laughed with me, as our food arrived, we thanked Harley and began to eat as we came up with some kind of plan to get Ashton to reveal his crush.

Tomorrow would make three weeks that Ashton and I have known about each other's existence, well when we first spoke because we met at the bus stop when he caught me staring at him.

"You're definitely thinking about his ocean blues, his blonde hair and the fact he touched your waist, what did you want him to touch yo-"

"Please, shut up Dana."

I was now highly embarrassed and I couldn't look her in her eyes knowing that she knew me like the back of her hand just like Kiana, Kiana and Dana have known me since diaper times and well, it's still embarrassing how well they know me.

Dana snorted as she began to drink some of her sprite and eat her food, I rolled my eyes playfully at her knowing she only meant well.

Sometimes Dana doesn't realize how much she knows me until I give her a reaction that she wasn't expecting, then she runs off and tells Kiana because those two are almost like sisters at this point, they argue at times but nonetheless perfect together.

At one point, I thought they were secretly dating and keeping me out of the loop but when I asked them, they both told me straight up that we were all like sisters to each other which killed the though almost immediately.

When we finished eating, we paid for the food and left the diner to go see a movie because we really wanted to see the new sonic movie, it doesn't matter how old we get, kid movies will always have a place in our hearts.

Kiana had some homework to finish so she couldn't come with us but she did say that she would be watching the movie online on a site with subtitles, I told her to wait for us and we could watch it all together next weekend.

Although the air was clear of us being just best friends, it never made me stop thinking at the most random times that these two had, had some type of feelings for each other but killed it immediately when noticed.

But I can't make any assumptions, especially without having any type of evidence to back up my claim, some people should take lessons but I won't point out who, I'll let you think of who you want to think.
