《Ho Hey》XII. He's So Clueless It Hurts

I was giving very obvious hints that I thought he was attractive and that we can go on a date but he didn't pick up what I'm putting down!
~ Karalynn's POV ~
It was lunch time and I've been gushing out every single detail that I have ever heard about Ashton, I didn't even know how much I was talking until Dana told me that I should start eating before lunch ends and that I end up starving, I looked at her and nodded.
"You seem madly in love with the white boy, how about you finish eating and then tell us more about him?"
Isabella told me, I looked at her and smiled before taking a bite out of my dumplings that I bought from the Chinese food place, they always sell the best food and I always feel like marrying whoever makes them.
Dana took upon herself to look around the cafeteria and spot the boy, she got up with a smirk and I looked over at what she's doing and immediately got nervous when she walked over to him.
"What the hell is she doing?!"
Kiana signed to me with a worried look on her face, I shrugged my shoulders and kept staring at my close friend, my heart rate was going up higher than the heavens.
I didn't want her saying something that could embarrass me or even embarrass him, Dana doesn't have the best people skills if you hadn't noticed.
As she sat down beside him, Ashton set his book down and engaged in conversation with Dana, I watched he laughed and looked over at me before waving, I felt my cheeks flush in red and then watched as Dana walked over to me.
I looked at her with an angry look, I thought she had embarrassed me but instead she handed me a small piece of paper and winked at me before sitting down.

"No way in hell, you got his phone number?!"
I freaked out as I got up but then sat back down I didn't want to make a fool out of myself, so I just squealed inside of me and then took my phone out of my bookbag to type in his phone number in my phone.
Then I turned my phone off and put it in my bookbag, I looked over at the table that Ashton was sitting in and already noticed that he was looking at me.
The butterflies in my stomach started immediately, I waited for the lunch period to end so that I could go to chemistry, that was a class that Ashton told me we both shared.
When the bell rang, I got up and grabbed my bookbag before running out of the cafeteria, I was so excited but I needed to tone it down a bit.
I got into the class and walked to the back of the room then sat in the corner near the window, the tables were long enough to have a second person which sparked a little hope that Ashton would sit beside me.
But then again, he probably had another friend in the class and wanted to sit next to them instead of me, I took my notebook out and pulled out my red gel pen, then waited for everyone to arrive.
Keeping my hope and excitement at a minimal when kids started to walk into the classes, I put my earbuds in and began to listen to 'Stan' by Eminem because that song is the vibe when it starts raining which it did.
The rain began in biology class which was third period and it didn't stop but it did slow down, I loved the rain by the way because it always calmed me down.

I doodled a lot on the corners of my page and decided to write my name and the date on the edge of the page so that I didn't leave it for last, that's when a chair was pulled out and someone sat down.
I didn't want to look over that quickly because that would be way too weird, so I just gave myself a five second head start and then looked over at who was sitting beside me.
"Hope you don't mind me sitting here."
I smiled at Ashton and shook my head as I removed my earbuds completely, as we waited for the teacher to come, Ashton and I continued our conversation from the library.
"We can hang out at the diner I work at, everyone's so sweet and the food is really good."
This was me asking him out but not asking him out directly, Ashton looked at me and smiled, but he didn't really understand what I was putting down.
I sighed when he didn't understand what I was saying, I looked at him as he helped me out with some of the work.
I was giving very obvious hints that I thought he was attractive and that we can go on a date but he didn't pick up what I was putting down!
I groaned as I signed to Kiana, we were walking to her house because I didn't want to spend a night at mine, Kiana chuckled and tried to comfort me before telling me that everything would be okay.
What was there to be okay about, I probably made a fool of myself but luckily he didn't understand it.
During last period, Ashton had me message him so he could save my phone number and so that we could talk to one another.
That was sweet of him.

The Supreme Cultivator
This story is a parody for xianxias, and some litRPG, where our protagonist, Bòhé chá, faces no problems at all in his life controlled by the evil author... Is the author actually evil? (This is not a rhetorical question, I'm actually curious.) PS : this is only written as a method of wasting time, so don't expect me to upload regularly. Edit : removed the LitRPG and replaced it with Satire since that is more accurate.

Naruto Retsuden: Toru
[SI/OC Third Shinobi War]Well fought and well done. All of us fight as one. It took me three years to be able to properly read the faded out kanji of the flimsy poster that I keep in my back pocket. The illustration is colourful, bright reds and yellows. Colours that would definitely catch the attention of a child. The poster was carefully placed along the walls and fences of my village, level with the height of a four year old. I thought enlisting to become a Shinobi was a heroic deed, something I needed to do to save my family from poverty and to serve my country at the cusp of war. Then I graduated early to be deployed to the front lines.I am sadly and sorely mistaken. Warnings:Slow-burnNO OP-NESSRomance? What romance? It'll take at least 40 chapters or more before anything romantic happens.Realistic depictions of War from a child's perspectiveBlood and goreChild SoldiersPTSDRealistic character developmentTragedy. A lot of tragedy. Critiques much appreciated!
