《Ho Hey》XI. Finally Speaking To Him

You're nose is always in some kind of book, not surprised that we bumped into each other again.
~ Karalynn's POV ~
After a night of being depressed and then transitioning to anger, I got up bright and early to do my morning routine so that I could get out of the house before anyone is awake.
There's times where I feel bad for my younger sister because she's usually alone when I leave and when I come back, I spend some time with her to show her that I love her but sometimes I think Karmen just wants to be alone.
Her name is Karmen Lola Gomez, she's a sweet little girl even though she has a online boyfriend that could possibly be a creep, she's a smart girl that makes dumb decisions sometimes but don't we all at this point?
There's not much to know about her because she's a youngster and I don't wanna put her business out there, she practically does it to herself when she's on Roblox but that's her business, not mine.
I walked out my house with my lunch box in my left hand, I walked down the block and sat down on the bench as I waited for the bus to come, I didn't mind waiting for the bus because it gave me some time to put my earbuds in and play whatever song I was in the mood for.
Since today was like a gloomy day, I put on 'Babydoll' by Ari Abdul, this has to be my favorite song this year because it just fits the vibe whenever I needed it.
When the bus arrived, I got on and walked to the middle of the bus and sat down near the window, I looked out as the music began.
I always loved lip syncing to the song and pretending that I was the one singing it because that was just something fun to do to pass the time, besides I'm pretty sure everyone who has their own favorite song does it.

Darling, I'm falling, messed up over you, bite me, bruise me, leave me like you do.
Darling, I'm calling, lay me, in my tomb, (in my tomb)
The bus started up again and we began to drive to school, I began to hum the melody of the song while moving my shoulders as if I was actually dancing to the song, I feel bad for the people who were sitting in front, beside and behind me because they probably think that they rode the bus with a crazy person.
When in reality, I'm just feeling myself and I feel really pretty and hot whenever this song is playing, especially at night or early in the morning, even when it's raining in the morning or at night, I feel like nothing can harm my confidence when this song begins.
Call me babydoll, come break down these walls, don't leave me alone.
Call me babydoll, too cold, it's withdrawal, this house ain't a home.
Everytime the chorus plays, I feel like it's connected to my life but at the same time it isn't because I don't have anyone to come break down my walls or call me babydoll.
I have mixed emotions with these lyrics but like I said, they make me feel more attractive whenever I'm listening to it and if I feel attractive, I might appear it.
Oh, father forgive me for all my sins, when I meet your eyes the devil, he wins.
Blinded by your lies, but I, play pretend, (play pretend)
I always had to blind myself from the truth whenever someone whose up to no good shows up in my life, they can leave the worst bruises on my body but I'll always cover them up and call them hickies.
No matter how messed up you leave me, I'll always cover up your bad marks that you left behind because red was always my favorite color.

Call me babydoll, too cold, it's withdrawals, this house ain't a home.
When the chorus started up again, the bus stopped and I was already at school, I grabbed my bookbag and got off the bus and began to walk to the school.
Everyone was pouring inside, either doing what I'm doing or goofing out with their best friends, I walked inside of the school and took my phone out to check the time.
As the song continued playing, I got to my locker and opened it to put away everything that I didn't need today.
Wrapped around your finger, wish your tongue would linger, I need your warmth just to stay high.
Now, you're holding me down, I scream but make no sound, nothing to hold, my hands are tied.
I closed my locker and just stood by it so the song could finish because I didn't want to go into homeroom or the cafeteria with this song playing in my ears, it's not an appropriate song to listen to with other people around you.
That's why I hate listening to music when other people are around, they just seem so nosey and need to find out what music you listen to and if it's weird or not.
(Call me babydoll, come break down these walls, don't leave me alone.)
Call me babydoll too cold, it's withdrawal, this house ain't a home.
When the song finished, I took out my earbuds and began to walk to homeroom when i was almost knocked down flat off my feet when a pair of hands grabbed my arm and pulled me before I could fall.
I couldn't help but chuckle when it was the blue eyed boy, he's always with a book in his hands everytime I see him.
"I'm honestly so sorry, we should stop meeting like this."
The boy apologized sheepishly as he closed his book and made eye contact with me, I smiled at him and told him not to worry.
You're nose is always in some kind of book, not surprised that we bumped into each other again.
I teased the poor boy as his ears and cheeks went a light pink, I smiled at him.
"Yeah, maybe this is a sign that we should start talking and hanging out with each other."
The boy told me with a sly smile, I looked at him and nodded my head as I outstretched my hand for his, he gladly took it and we walked to the library together, getting to know each other better.
"My name is Ashton, what's yours?"
He has such a pretty name.
"Karalynn."
I introduced myself as we walked into the library quietly, he nodded his head and we sat down on some bean bags together.

But when his squad is tasked with conducting a routine patrol deep in enemy territory, everything goes to nine kinds of hell, and he quickly sees his chances at survival slipping away. When the radio operators start to pick up some funky, dirty ol’ blues all the way out in the backcountry, it’s a nice change of pace. At least until the men in Yancy’s squad start losing their minds, turning on each other with murderous intent as the music works its deadly power within them. Convinced it’s some kind of new psychological warfare initiative, the squad leader forces the men to push deeper and deeper into the Vietnamese jungle, obsessed with locating the music’s source. What they find, however, isn’t some new technology, but an ancient spirit awoken by the terrible war. Even worse, the music is changing Yancy too, awakening something buried inside of him. Only one thing is certain, nothing is ever going to be the same.See how it all began … *** PRAISE FOR SIREN SONG:Hunter's writing is as low-down, gritty, and insidious as the blues Yancy Lazarus loves.
