I prick my finger and every period becomes a blood stain.

With every comma a tear drop falls

Every question mark makes me question all

Quotations around conversations and arguments waged in my brain

Stumbling over thoughts laid before me is my bane

Rhyming words flow free from my mouth like a river

Lack of ambition leaves me to flop about and eventually whither

A new thought rises from the ashes flying high like a Phoenix

These words that twist about are engraved deep within my double helix
