《Be My Wonder 8... || HanaNene》Chapter 15

Your eyes were closed, the feeling of security once again embraced you, and being daring enough to relax your muscles. You felt a small breeze blow by your shoulders, but you brushed that thought of it being a threat away. You had learnt to become at least a little more laid back and left the past behind you to rot. You continued to dream of you and Amane relaxing and daydreamed, while your hand was being held tight by another's.
And it became tighter.
And sweat formed.
(Just to clarify, Yashiro's power is basically very related to gardening, especially when her weapon is a shiny hoe - as in the tool -)
You felt small dust specks brushing past your eyes, thank god they were closed. You lifted your spare hand to block the flow and cautiously opened your eyelids. You spotted that familiar black swirl of cloud and wind. That made you startled, since a nice breezy day turned into a seemingly horrifying nightmare.
Instinctively, you whipped out what your used to do melee combat with, a gardening hoe. Amane used to poke fun at you when you took it out, but since he didn't at this moment, it made you feel uneasy. He swung out his sword, a dark aura around him appeared. One of his Haku-Joudai floated near to him, forming the oh-so familiar protective cloak. We both took out our fighting stances, armed and ready for a battle to arise.
My hoe's wooden handle with my hands gripped tightly with my hands, was balanced on my left shoulder, while Amane had his knife hidden behind his right thigh, so as to 'sneakily attack him'.
"muchTsukasa chuckled, as if we were just a game for him. Not even taking a fighting stance, he casually ordered, whilst in mid-air,

After hearing him, me and Amane went after him. I had used my weapon to try to nail him to the ground, while Amane wanted to slice his lower leg to make Tsukasa's movement agonising. But instead of feeling my hoe hitting his skull, i instead felt it hitting the hard concrete, sending shivers up my spine, my hands jelly.
Amane had experienced the same. I perked up my ears and attempted to hear out where Tsukasa was. Once I caught a wind breeze by, I twisted my head back, seeing Tsukasa with his smug grin.
Tsukasa prepared to snap. Amane used this time and threw his knife at Tsukasa, but he dodged it right in time to not be hit. Just as Tsukasa was about to snap, the floor faded out into sand, causing you to fall into a nearly pitch-black cavity. You formed a flower in your hand which you called and explored the area around you. Only you and Amane were together. Tsukasa, no where to be seen, making you tense up.
You stumbled across a hallway, full of colourful doors. This must be Tsukasa's doing..
You and Amane looked at each other, before agreeing to stick together.
Knowing if this was the right answer racked your brain. Your ears perked when Tsukasa continued.

Shadow Overseer
He never had a name. People had names, not lab rats. The reason for his existence was to further science and die somewhere along the way. "Subject Five" was what they called him. Under the name of science, they tormented him and derived a sick pleasure from his pain. His dark life had a single solace in the form of his brothers and sisters sharing the same fate. Helping them escape cost Five his life, but he was happy knowing he did something for himself. After waking up, he finds himself as the son of a noble in a marvelous world filled with magic. In his second chance at life, he vows to protect himself and his family from anything that threatens to destroy his peaceful life. Follow Five on his path to supremacy. ********** This is a LITRPG novel, with the system playing a crucial, but supporting role. It isn't omnipotent and has definite origins which I'll explain later in the story. Another important aspect is world-building and crafting. I'll go into quite a lot of detail on both of them.
