《Dawn Of The Lilies》The Ancient One

The silence that followed was deafening. No one could see where the two boys had fallen. Wang stood close the craters of light in the earth frowning. Nothing was happening no tendrils of darkness trying to engulf him nor was the light trying to gently hold him in its soft light. Even though he had been able to prepare properly for years.

"You are too late Jackson." The Faun called to him from the other side of the crevice. Wang scoffed at the name the Faun used starting to pace staring down into the abyss.

"There's no way they beat me..." If they had it would be the most anti-climatic battle in the history of everything. He needed to consume the powers of light and darkness again. He had great plans for the future. He had done so much in the years after he had done it the first time. Everyone was happy in the world he created for them. If anything, they should bow down and praise him as he takes on the Lilies again, and yet here he is wondering if two brats had stolen his rightful powers.

"The time has come to return to your senses Jackson." Amari jumped across the crater landing eloquently on the ground before the startled man. Quickly he recovered dropping a foot back in a ready stance, hands up ready to fight the Faun. Amari laughed full heartedly at his actions.

"Old friend do you really think I want to fight you?" He talked to him as if he was a child carefully reaching out his pale hand to rest on his shoulder. Wang flinched when his hand touched his shoulder the tendrils of darkness shying away from the man's touch.

Wang let out a deep sigh his eyes shifting upward to look the faun in the eyes. Those milky green eyes that told of the emotions of the world. It reminded him of the boy Jungkook... just quite the opposite.

"Where have you been Amari?" he spoke softly.

"Keeping the light creatures safe from the darkness you unleashed into the world. The darkness you were supposed to harness and protect us all from."

Wang's head fell as the tendrils slithered into his eyes and back out. His shoulders slumped in defeat before his hand laced around the fauns throat startling him.

"W-What are you doing?" He choked out. Wang's eyes were pitch black a snarl ripped across his face making him into a demon.

"I am going to kill you and all your kind. So, everyone will see the perfection I have created." Wang growled squeezing tighter on Amari's neck. Their once peaceful conversation long forgotten in the darkness.

Amari's eyes started to water his face turning blue as his once best friend snarled at him in a gruesome way. He knew there was no reaching him with the darkness surrounding him. His only hope is that the son he doesn't know he has rescues him. Even if he has to end his life.

The cavern erupted around them. A mixture of black and white spiraling straight up to the night sky. Wang dropped Amari stunned at what was happening. He was almost giddy with excitement to see what would happen next. Would it choose him or move away and be lost?

Wang's eyes narrow when he sees to figures in an embrace shooting up through the crevice much like the light. They were glowing completely surrounded by the darkness and light a faint purple hue radiated off their bodies.

"What's this?" He growled taking a step closer to the edge of the cavern. A loud bang and then a shrill came from somewhere in the distance. Followed by several others with blinding beautiful lights. Wang spun in the direction of the sounds falling in awe of the spectacle before him. The black tendrils leaked from his body back into the craters. His dark honey eyes returning to normal with the tan color of his skin returning. If you didn't know who he was before all this, you'd think a new person appeared out of thin air. Falling to his knees he sobbed as all his memories and they emotions that came with him rocked through his mind and body.

He could fully see the heartache and pain he had caused his wife. All of his friends that once stood beside him. He didn't even know his own son when he saw him for the first time. His fell in his hands as he cried for the time once lost. More exploding lights ricocheted through the dawning light with small giggles from two little fairies standing close by.

"Jazzy!! Look!!" A red headed pink fairy danced excitedly flittering her wings. The blue one smiled clapping her hands pointing up to the sky.

"So pretty!!!"

Amari scooped them both up putting them on his shoulder, so they had a better view. Which they thanked him for becoming more excited by the second making him laugh.

"Jimin did well didn't he." Giggled Addi. Both Amari and Jazzy nodded.

"He did so good Addi." Jazzy praised the boy off in the distance. Amari stared at the twisting light of black and white with the faint purple line running up the middle. He couldn't tell what was going on, but he had a good feeling that change was coming.

A new beginning for all. The dawning of a new era starting with the Angel and the Protector.

A giggle escaped my chest as we spiraled high into the air. It felt as if we had fallen so far down and a rumble filled the crater shooting ups back up into the night sky. Taehyung was smiling his boxy smile looking up towards the stars and I well... I was looking at him.

We were surrounded in a hue of purple that was surrounded by black and white. It couldn't touch us. We were consumed in the light of it all. Voices from centuries before could be heard, telling the stories of the ancient one. It was beautiful yet scary all at the same time. He had done so much for the light and darkness to live in harmony. Only for it to be disturbed by a power-hungry man with a vendetta to consume more.

I feel different... All the emotions I never felt before having rushed through me. The second I fell into the light it was like I was born again. This time I could feel and express emotions. I am thankful. I laughed again at the thought. A thing that most people have always had. I am thankful for.

Taehyungs light brown eyes met mine making my heart flutter. He was the first person to ever make me feel anything. Even if it was confusing at first. I definitely understand it now...

I closed the gap between our faces, and I kissed him. His eyes widened in shock before closing and melting into the kiss much like myself. The feeling of it all was like no other.

Everything around us burst. The light and darkness shattering its hold spreading out into the dawn. Then raining down like falling stars to the earth below. We descended slowly wrapped in one another's embrace smiling happily. While a burning sensation stung the back of my neck. Taehyung grabbed the back of his neck as well. We both looked at each other confused. He then grabbed me spinning me around to look at my neck.

"Jungkook..." he said breathlessly. I turned slowly to look at him once more. He had tears in his eyes at this point I couldn't tell if he was happy or sad. But then his face broke out into a huge smile. I smiled back at him wiping his tears away with my thumb.

"what?"

"we did it..."

Taehyung turned around to show me the back of his neck. A glowing white and black lily was imprinted into his skin. In the stories from the ancient times, the only person who had ever been able to hold both in harmony throughout their body was Kim Seokjin. Which we all know to be the keeper of the fairies now. He doesn't talk about his time as the Lily. But he does know how to treat both dark and light creatures with respect and kindness. Which is why I think the shadow bunnies never tried to torment him even after all the fairies left except Tilly. Good old Tilly, there from day one. The oldest and wisest of all the Fairies.

Amari approached them with the fairies on his shoulders smiling happily down at them.

"well done you two."

We both bowed to the Faun. The excitement that coursed through us had us bouncing on our toes.

"Who's that?" Taehyung asked gesturing towards the man sobbing on his knees. Amari turned to look at his friend.

"He is my long-lost friend Jackson."

I froze... My father's name was Jackson. My mother had said he died in the last Dawn of the Lilies. Could this man be...

I stared at him my eyes wide. Amari looked at me as if knowing what I was thinking.

"This man... Is your father."

This couldn't be real. There's no way this man could be my father.

"Where did he come from?" I asked befuddled.

"He's been here this whole time. Just very... different."

"Wang..." Whispered Taehyung. He looked at me with concern my eyes wouldn't meet his. I couldn't peel them away from the man on the ground.

"D-dad?" I questioned. Jackson flinched at the sound of my voice. He slowly looked up at me, his eyes red from crying so hard.

"I've ruined everything..."

I was confused. Amari kneeled down to help Jackson stand up wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

"The darkness consumed you. It wasn't your fault." He tried to comfort him.

I couldn't see how any of it could be dismissed. I was angry. Yea that's the word... Maybe a bit hurt. He had left his family for power and now it would seem he wants forgiveness. Right now, I don't think I can provide that. Turning to walk away Taehyung grabbed my arm.

"Jungkook?"

Before I could respond Jimin ran up through the trees smiling and laughing with some of the tree nymphs who came out of hiding. They all could sense the change in the atmosphere.

The Dawn of the Lilies has finally once again brought piece and a little heartache to this burrow.

"We did it Bitches!"

Both Taehyung and I rolled our eyes. I looked over at him with a half- smile. He returned it. Then we both turned and walked off into the woods. We had years to prepare for another Dawn. Somehow, we both knew we would be fine.

Maybe Jackson could piece his life back together and we could have a father son relationship. But it would always be Briggs I considered my Dad.

We walked a little way before stopping in a clearing. Fireflies danced around dropping down into the field of white flowers then soaring back up. The sight was beautiful all the trees were a glow with dawning light.

"Taehyung..." He looked at me and smiled.

"I never answered you properly the first time..." Taehyung looked at me confused, so I continued.

"I love you too."
