---------------

I'm so scared right now. Best believe I know how to fight otherwise what would all this training be for... But the way Wang is staring at Jungkook with those grotesque vines snaking into his eye sockets has me wanting to snatch Jungkook up and run.

"Protecting people eh?" Wang spat at the boy who was crouched in a ready stance before me. I could see the muscles ripple through his shirt as he prepared to attack. If it didn't seem like a hostile situation, I would be fanboying so hard right now. Briggs was standing uneasy to the side his eyes bouncing from the brooding man to the protective boy.

"I will protect the innocence of this world." Jungkook growled lunging forward. Wang side stepped then vanished appearing behind me. His cold arm wrapped around my throat squeezing hard as he dragged me backwards. I could see Jungkook's eyes widen in fear. Then transformed into that of a barbaric animal. Hmm... that's hot.

"Let him go!" He barked charging at us full force. Before Wang could vanish Jungkook had side kicked him in the head sending him reeling across the training room.

Damn... Remind me never to piss this boy off. Wait... He's showing emotions. I could feel my heart elate at the thought.

I ran over to stand near Briggs while Wang staggered to his feet holding the side of his head.

"You've trained him well." He said in admiration. Briggs shrugged moving to stand in front of me. Why the hell do they keep doing that? I'm not weak. I can take this asshole on.

Wang vanished again. Only to snatched me up from behind and disappear. Shit.

I could hear Jungkook yelling but I couldn't see him.

Slowly the black smoke dissipated, and I could see the commotion below.

Below?

I'm in the rafters.

Jungkook stared up at me. Before being hit by a ball of black fury. He fell to the ground unaffected by the pain it was supposed to inflict. Getting back to his feet to attack Wang once more.

After several minutes of black smoke and what looked like fire the fight stopped. Wang laid motionless on the ground with Briggs crouched down beside him. I could see Jungkook standing off to the side, he looked up at me our eyes locking. He didn't break his hold on me until Briggs called to him.

"Yes sir?"

Before they could do anything, else Wang vanished in a wisp of black smoke. Briggs dropped back onto his butt and Jungkook looked back up at me.

"Are you alright?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Uh... I think so... Just don't know how I'm going to get down."

"Don't you have wings?" Briggs questioned.

"Huh?" I tried to look at my back losing my footing I fell backwards. I guess this is it. This is where I die. Never knowing if the cute boy down below even liked me a little. Goodbye cruel world.

The air rushed around me even though I wasn't that high up. It just seemed like it took me forever to fall. I hit something hard a few moments later with my eyes squeezed shut.

I'm dead right?

"Are you okay?"

What? I'm not dead. Slowly I opened my eyes to see that Jungkook was holding me. He had caught me. Briggs was staring shocked at what had just happened. How Jungkook's legs didn't buckle on impact is beyond me. He truly is a robot boy, although there seems to be something else starting to show behind those dark eyes.

I smiled at him making his mouth twitch. It was like he wanted to mirror the action but couldn't. I could feel my face turning red as he lowered me to my feet. The last time he was this close to me I had kissed him. I wonder if he thinks about it...

"Taehyung are you okay?" Briggs tone was laced with worry.

"Yea." I continued to stare at Jungkook. Who seemed to be doing the exact same thing?

"Okay well you guys can go home then... Today was one for the books that's for sure."

Jungkook snapped out of his daze and ran off towards the door.

I stood back watching while Briggs studied my face.

"Taehyung... It's not worth it."

"what do you mean?"

"I don't think you will get the outcome you are hoping for." He said apologetically. Like I need an apology.

"You're probably right. But it doesn't hurt to try."

He gave me a small smile, I just waved then followed behind the raven-haired boy who stole my heart without even trying.

Whatever shall I do?
